The fact we entered into fourth wave territory is evidence that the iv-v blowout count was right. The sideways movement we see now could be a larger triangle but I will post the idea later to avoid the hate when a premature count changes.

This would be in a fourth wave position of some degree, and a fifth wave to follow.

Internals of this impulse are very nice on close inspection. It would be wise for longs to be cautious in this area. Wave iv territory is 2200, we have seen the price violently return to this area in the recent past and it is a good guideline to expect. A higher order correction seems due.

I didn't want to read this but I suppose it has to be expected. This kind of move can't be sustainable. Long term bitcoin could be anything but such a violent upturn based on pretty much no solid positive news will have to meet some kind of correction sadly. Hopefully we can stay around 330-360 though & not fall lower.

But if you look back on the 2013 november bubble, even that one had a major correction after the price had risen about 50% (130>200>160)

It doesn't matter. There is no invalidation until around $1500 ( the point at which a B-wave is beyond being a B wave possibility, or 138% of the wave-A). In such a case (making an ATH less than the maximum allowable), it would be called a running flat (when C makes a higher low) or an irregular flat (aka expanding flat, where C makes LL than the A). Regardless, by it moving above my line I drew, doesn't invalidate the count. It could reach 5-6-700, even 1000 and still be a valid count. I drew it the way I did because the sideways range that had established itself. Buying was weak so I was simply showing a path that continued the same range expansion.

A higher order correction seems waaay overdue. And if it were for Bitfinex and other western exchanges, I'd be pretty sure of it.
But China still looks like it could pull another pump, decision time about 2 hours from now, will it break up or down.
If it will break down, with the profit taking plus shorting, it could be quite impressive... Your thoughts, chessnut?

Now we can begin looking at the bigger picture.

We are now in a higher order of wave IV. It would be unrealistic to expect it to enter the territory of wave iv (2200) but the guideline that the price tends to is enough to be cautious trading the next wave V that will likely form the primary of the next bitcoin bubble.

I will let the price speak for it's self and continue to keep the raging bitcoin bull inside me locked up in chains.   just HODL you cold coins and stay sensible and we wont stuff this one up.

So you would count the parabolic conclusion to the pictured 3 as a kind of hyper-blowout-(v)? Trying to figure out the internals of this spike so I can get some clarity and wave orientation but so far to no avail.

This is really frustrating but here we are looks like this is the case and we even have evidence in the breakdown of the triangle that this is a terminal move. aiming for a bottom in the 2200 yuan.

At this point in time the triangle seems to have taken aim to the upside. good form. This might not be the beginning of bullish continuation but bullish none the less.
