I saw https://deposit.cryptokingdomgold.com/ on the billboard. It said it is for new players so I though cool. I get great by a screen with no info just a tx number and place for my username. I enter my username and press submit. Now what ? What has this done ? Hopefully will give me shares.

Happy to read the break hasn't been unrewarding. I have also enjoyed it, lots of time to set up mining rigs and practice charcuterie Smiley

I of course have to admit that imagining the taste of CK foie gras got me into it, so I started with some dry cured sopressata. Ducks are on the list.

Admittedly, when we did the pause I was under the impression that clans would be a continuation of the ultima wealth management style we had. Likely my fault for not thinking to ask the question, or realizing it if it was being talked about.

Either way, I like the idea of change, and what sounds like progress.

I'm looking at a diagram of a agar.io bubble with a four point chariot with archers seated on each horse--wonders if the egyptions witnessed a star wars event that interplays with the design of a chariot--well, they did master symbols better than anyone else, so even from an experimental "how do you get to the stars?" --it makes sense to pivot on historical links and decentralized power structures, even if it involves backwards engineering hypothetical alien technologies.

So learning symbol placement from music, you learn that art is a good framework to illustrate universal rhizome theory (?) This would coincide with the most adaptable players to quickly reconfigure their gameplay setting from data points--music makes you think faster.

University should set-up a quest to unearth mysteries of the Egyptians. The military academy and research departments should be the focus of near term. The world's not that big a place and resource limitations are prime points of war and economic displacement. Anyone who's ever played paper football realizes that once you reach a limitation in adaptability, you just keep renaming the game. Capitalistic mechanisms converge on points along a virtual rhizome, at least if you believe Deluze's model of Capitalism...

I think Delueze's major point (though he had a much different context of its value) is that you can only aim virtual economies, but they are tricky to manage, and control--well, good luck--that's why the dragon is being watched over off-world. What are the costs, the benefits, short-term, long-term? Sometimes it's just a gut-feeling and a push from someone you respect.  Whatever it is, CK-IO.

So consume stuff based on the rules. Since you are new player, you'll have a stat bonus, but you'll have to compete with older players who have bigger stores of high value items.

It's a work in progress and the rules change a lot, so there's no quick way to create a wiki as with a typical game, but clans should forge some basic gameplay AFAIK.

For players unfamiliar with CLI, whenever you type help followed by enter, you get a list of available commands. Consume is the one we will focus on today. So just as in the real world, you need to eat, drink, and in the case of CK, get your WISdom on, so to do this you enter:

consume can 25

That's it, you just consumed some CAN and gained some WIS.

*25 is used as an example, it can be higher, or lower, but the limit at the moment is 200. Tomorrow's lesson will be how to buy and give or win it...we'll see

Give command lets you give things. So to use it we type

give m 100 lotraffle

Hit enter and you've given Lotraffle 100 m

So in this command GIVE is the action, m is the ITEM, the number 100 is how many of the item that you wish to give, and the "lotraffle" in the command is the player to receive the item--in this case lotraffle--who handles most of the freebies. What's nice about the counter-intuitive order of the command, in English sentence structure you tend to hear, "here's a hundred bucks," or "this Bugatti..." the main thing is that this command intricacy acts as a simple don't-ski-down-the-mountain-drunk control.

sorry if it feels like people are ignoring you or spamming you with information; game is currently in an extremely hectic phase, as we're about to evolve into so-called Clans, which we've been eagerly waiting for almost half-a-year. Basically instead of single characters "houses" will function together. That's why people are posting so much so fast, they're not intentionally trying to ignore or textwall you. Sorry if you've felt that way.

I'm responsible for our Wiki, and I've been having a project to fulfill the empty spots of it especially regarding the new players' guide, so I might as well do it now. If you could, please post me your character ID and I'll check out what you're currently playing with, what you've done so far, and I'll write you (and others) a comprehensive guide - rememember though! these are always speculative and there's no de facto correct way to play - everything is tied to XMR and big shifts in CK markets, so there's no "correct" answer. But I'll give you (and others) my best 5 cents

Again, you just stepped into a buzzing bee nest with huge changes in-game, and I can relate to frustration of how people go "go to <link>" or "and read also <link>" where things don't seem to connect and the information wave is vast. And some of it is outdated, as the game is evolving faster than people can document it in a newbie-friendly way. Believe me, I was there 1 year ago

Also, coming to IRC has usually been very beneficial to new players. We're at ##crypto-kingdom at the server freenode, you could use e.g. http://webchat.freenode.net/
Usually most conversations take place 11 AM - 11 PM UTC, but this varies _a lot_. Don't be discouraged if you don't get a response within 10 mins or so, it really depends if we're at that particular minute there. Usually the threshold for little and seemingly mundane questions is much lower there, as here people usually tend to post only long well-structured semi-essays (or well, not always...)

If you're looking for an introduction into the Clans module as far as expected costs, scale back the totals from here to 1/200 as each npcc equals 200 npc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tgIzgMza7NQsTpMO9pHke1ZVXYH7l5Sj5bHdZHItivo/edit?usp=sharing. I do have a cheat sheet I made of where each M spent equaled a point--that was critical--but it's probably going to be outdated with the new expansion rules, so it's interesting only from a future model of cost analysis perspective, and probably not useful for actual data. Though historical pricing may interest some. I can post it, but unless someone asks for the info, I'll probably think it a vain effort rather than a useful tool for players.
