Remember, nodes need to to be updated to V 3.9.1 by tomorrow to continue receiving your node bounty payment.  Smiley

Why nodes with old software still receive node bounty payments  Huh
Example: 155.254.36.212: NRS NHZ V3.9; Last Payout: 2015-05-06 04:44:11

It is also get paid on 7th May, where 3rd may was the last date for update...anyone any idea ??

Isn't it making node owner with proper maintenance neglected ? Tell me one reason why we should keep an eye on everything where someone get paid without doing anything ?

5.196.159.63 is v3.9.1, that's right.

But here are other examples for old nodes which are currently payed:

It seems, that v3.8.0 was payed till 2015-04-24, but 3.9.0 is still payed.

Hi all.  I am fairly new to all this.  Can some explain or write a short "idiot guide" to what an "asset" actually is and how it works and why HZ is so cheap.  Many thanks and sorry for being so dense!

I wrote the tool myself to manage my nodes. It certainly makes sense only if you have more than one node  Wink
I'm still thinking about to make it available to the public ...

Yes, I understand. Currently I have 32 Node running where only 21 of them get paid.

Non paying 11 nodes are running for about 13 day's, but still horizon's official "nodechecker" on official website saying "node hasn't deceted yet"

I think that tools have limitation of maximum node in memory when it will stop adding new node in database...

Still hoping to be added those unlisted node as soon old backdated node got drop from official listing.

Cheers!

Perhaps the nodes will be detected earlier, if you enter the IP's of the 21 detected nodes in the config as nhz.wellKnownPeers.

It might look easier to earn HZ by posting useless things on their own forum but you will soon find it hard even earning 100HZ out of that.

Actually, all HZ earned from forum postings is manually checked in order to prevent people from posting useless things. If a post is deleted then the HZ gets deleted too.  Also, all withdrawals are processed manually in order to prevent people trying to game the system.

Check out https://horizonplatform.io/get-started/earning-horizon/ for more info.

I did achived 103HZ amount of points on forum and out of curicity I click on 'Withdrow HZ'. After that my profile showing 0HZ and nowhere showing any credit. I know it is too low in amount but I like to get credit for forum posting. Also I didn't found any option in profile page where to setup 'HZ wallet / account ID' for sending bounty credit!

Can anybody tell me what happen? I was on to contributor on HZ forum nw showi g I am the lowest amoung all !

Any Idea?

I will fail at writing an idiot guide, sorry :-) Still, I might be able to help perhaps:

"Assets" are ~ "colored coins".

Try it practically! If you want to know how to buy asset shares, I suggest my "how to buy, for newbies" thread.

If you want to know how to issue an asset (and understand them better, in general), I have documented issueing my own asset quite well in my "AAssetHZ" thread, including a lot of preparatory thinking.

One part of my preparation was studying the other assets, which is partly documented in my assetparser.py thread.

Hope that helps?

All my nodes are interconnected and every node's config file conains other 31 IP in option in nhz.wellKnownPeers.

For example, IP 104.194.247.227 is not deceted where 104.194.247.229,230,231,232....all are getting paid! Strange!

I am holding nick CRYPTOADDICT replied on that thread and somehow missed your screenshot request. At this moment I am posting from mobile will give you required info as soon I can sit in front of my PC.

I tested your node-tools earlier and its real nice. It would be very useful if you add 'last paid' column on your tool interface.

Cheers!
