Can someone please explain why the doge dev sat on all this info and decides to release it now. I don't care what bullshit excuse he gives as he had this info far longer than he claims.

I don't know the history of the two entities but near as I can tell it probably has something to do with ATM machines?  Didn't a bunch of the Moo??? funding come from that?  Would have been shooting themselves in the foot I would think to out them and not get delivery of them.  But when they declared bankruptcy it was pretty much a given there would be no machines.  But as I said, I really don't know what happened with all of that and am only speculating based on very limited information.

first Mandatory in crypto, never trust any exchange

I use a better (IMHO) saying:
Trust NO ONE !!! Trust the code (i.e. algorithm)

Still had to leave some coinz on xchange for a day or 2.
Fully Avoided MtGOX.  But, MINTGOX  got me....

If you saved addresses then it is ok, just wait for MintPal to send you your coins. They are doing it manually so you have to wait, it is not instant withdrawal.

As far as i can see some coins are sent out but no one got their BTC! I hope that they will be able to send out those too.

Things seem to be heating up over in the UK.  There's this info that is saying he is "arrested" for "questioning".  Course there's no third party confirmation of any of this right now that I could see so take it with a grain of salt.

https://twitter.com/dcryptfund/status/522708331182702592

People are watching this page to see if he makes an appearance. lol

This was an interesting read:
https://www.reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/comments/2jds24/moolah_a_digital_currency_startup_that_raised

And the drama has made it to PCMag as well

And lastly it looks like SYS is going to take legal action

Requested my withdrawal of 193 DRK.  (I reported 190 DRK earlier, couldn't remember exact amount.)  Will update if/when I receive it.

Withdrawal of 193 DRK (first reported 190 DRK) complete and confirmed.  The TX hash showed up in Mintpal when it was generated under "Withdrawal Status" (previously said "Requested" or something like that), and the TX popped up in my wallet a few seconds later.  Confirmation in a block followed within a few minutes.

http://bitinfocharts.com/darkcoin/tx/f657a59a578306d5d8822df3819badedfaec172de837c5f8e9a9368f68459e1d

EDIT: Based on the timestamps for these posts, it took approximately 1.5 hours for my withdrawal to go through.

So this is coming from that big wallet that originated from a bunch of known MP addresses. It's possible these have all been legitimate withdrawals then, I guess, which would be very good news for all the others with DRK stored in MP.

His TX: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/tx.dws?612821.htm

Latest in the "chain": https://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/tx.dws?613190.htm

The random amounts actually match what you'd expect to be withdrawals pretty well.

Yes, considering that this wallet currently has around 5% of all DRK, and is the 3rd-richest DRK address, I think this is a pretty good sign for DRK holders on Mintpal.  Maybe the earlier transactions that we saw from this wallet were legitimate withdrawals to people who had requested them via e-mail or other something?

This process stopped about 8 h ago (manual execution?), latest in that chain is
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/tx.dws?613843.htm
Still #3 on rich list, easy to follow...  Smiley

Seems they do it one DRK withdraw per block (or less), roughly ~16-18 withdraws per hour.
If doing manual, and 2 man shift work, 14h per day (am I to optimistic?) , then ~14 hours x 16 = 200-220 withdraws per one full working day.
Weekend ahead, so seems I must have enough patience to wait for my DRK coins until some time mid next week
I have no idea though, how many accounts @ MP were holding DRK's .
Anyone knows this?

BTC Status: Requested
416 VRC status: received, now safe on paper. Took abt 2h to get them
