Im getting 1 x on the unit dogie....
how exactly do i adjust the voltage or whatever to fix this...
I'm really worried that the vaccum cleaner may have damaged a chip?
I thought 800w would be unaffected by the small vaccum but idk omg i hoep i didnt kill this thing...
will i have to cycle the unit as well after i fix?
**edit** immediatly after posting i cold cycled the unit and the "X" went away. Maybe the power disruption did something.
I really need to look into how to get these things to reboot every 24hrs along w my s3's :/ link?
*edit* confirmed x what is exacting procedure please?

Voltage Setting Modify voltage and Save&Apply, then need to Power off and Restart
I believe the step size is 10 so, try 0735 or 0745

I got 2 Units on wednesday both seem to be underperforming from there guaranteed spec at stock clock and voltage. One will not take a single step overclock without throwing X I am going to spend some time tinering with voltage and clock speeds anyone have any feed back on voltage steps other than to go in steps of 10?

Received my C1 today - here's a quick summary.
- The B2 (with cooling kit) arrived with all required pieces, plus an extra hose fitting, extra O-ring, and two extra clamps. - The fan/pump power harness was the 2nd gen version that connects directly to the PSU or PCI cable. I checked it with an Ohm meter and visually - it's wired correctly and the connections appear to be well protected with heat-shrink tubing. - There were a couple of small plastic 'spirals' from thread cutting inside the pump tank that were easily rinsed out. There were also water droplets in the tank - signs of wet testing.
The miner, fans, pump, and EVGA 1000W PSU are whisper quiet. The idling fan on an Asus AMD R9-290 reference card is at least twice as loud as this is. I have a pair of S3+ and a Dell 750W server PSU in the kitchen with the C1 - it's very difficult to hear the C1.
It's running between .995 and 1.4 TH/s locally, and between .992 and 1.02 TH/s pool-side at stock speed/voltage with no Xs after 1 hour of running.
Also, Spiceminer's Ant Viewer picked up the C1 same as the S3s.
Bitmain and Syscooling - nice job!

Yea, well this seems to be a problem here. Between me and my father we own 6 C1's and all of them have X's under the ASIC status area and ALL are underperforming. Apparently other users are having the same issue. If raising the voltage doesn't resolve the issue what are we supposed to do? Get an RMA and ship all these back to China? I think Bitmain needs to modify the hashing speed on these C1's. More like 950GH/s. I haven't seen 1000GH/s in a long time. Is there a support channel through the Bitmain site or something?

im too lazy to post pics atm but i will...
I'm in the middle of preparing to transfer to something with more power.
Im also ordering two more b3 c1's tonight to hookup to the 8 fan unit.
i kind of wish i didnt get the radiator because i dont know what to do with this.
If 8 fans cools 4 c1's would this 3 fan cool 2?
if i can plug 2 into this 3 fan that would be perfect
I am sure you'd better not do this, effect of 8 fans is not simply added, just like 3 fans support one machine rather than 2 fans.

if i run this http://shop.syscooling.com/goods.php?id=46it says it can sustain 4 of the c1's can i integrate the stock 3 fan w pump into the same or separate loop totaling 6 units ran by 11 fans? also does the 8 fan kit come with the updated harness? If so do you have to plug it into 1 or 2 c1s? Well,no one considered like this before, you could try and see whether the temperature is higher than 8 fans for 4 C1s or 3 fans for 1 C1.Now all the wiring harness is new, could be plugged into board directly.

[/quote] How long is the warranty on the SC-C2 pump? Not sure if I should buy it, because if the pump fails all 4 C1 will be idle.

after following my c1 all around the city i finally got it. Hook up and hashing at 1ths smooth as butter. whats the best site to post pictures too now? imgur.com (less advertising and far faster than Flickr) imgur compresses everything and doesn't handle large file sizes.

So no one is going to comment on the several users having X's in their ASIC status area and having under powered units?

Is it relatively straightforward to undervolt a C1 to ~550W ? If so, what sort of hash rate could we expect at that wattage ? Thinking of picking up a couple fo' shiggles and tinkering purposes.

Just did another re-test.... If you are looking at it from the fan side... The right two board seem to be toast.. The fan and pumps seems to be going okay when i plug them into 3+4 but 1+2 are dead.... lets how bitmain twerks just trying to get them to agree to swap for 3 s3's

I would have left it several hours to cool off passively as its not designed to operate at that temp (chips are fine but nearby components might not like the heat). Buy a new pump, locally if you can't wait. Careful trying to move anything, that tubing will be much more rubbery and more prone to pulling off. Once you know what / if anything is dead, send an email to info@bitmaintech.com for the C1.

its def the two boards i emailed them and they asked for my order id and havent heard back. pump and radiator works find when plugged into 3 and 4 boards p.s. now one of my 6 s3's is showin 0 gh/s poolside but the pool is showing 2.7th/s which is if all 6 were running.. i have no clue why it the pool would show an s3 not hashing but then see in my total hash it is? ?

Several users being you, and one other person who fixed his. What exactly do you want people to do about it? Chinesesavoir and Mindtrip both had X's in their ASIC status area. And when you have those X's your (guaranteed) hashing power drops. And after changing the voltage, which I've already done to 740, the X goes away but eventually comes back. Now with 2 X's for even less hashing power. What if I wanted to sell in the future and as the specifications indicate 10008GH/s and the unit can't even get to that, then I'm pretty much screwed. I'm just wondering how every is getting 1000TH/s with no problems and I have 6 of them struggling to keep above 950GH/s. I guess I'm just expecting more support and attention like I'm use to with other companies I have purchased from. Are you here as a mascot/cheerleader for Bitmaintech or really here for support purposes?
