Actually for ones im not really bullish on factom anymore, M2 only support about 47 entry's per second i expected a lot more.

This mean the inflation atm is higher then the burnrate can be in m2. Hmmm.

Current rate. 2,70$ means every coins brings 2700 entry credits

2700x73000(coins inflation) = 197.1 million entrys needed to have a same burnrate as inflation.

So that means at least 76 Transaction per second is needed to substain $2,70.

When i heared this i sold a lot coins and i was really a long term supporter. So im not saying this to fud or anything i like a lot what they do.

There is zero inflation and the total supply is and will be decreasing until M3!

What I really don't get is the high measures for Factom, that everybody seem to believe they already should have a higher burning rate, while it's totally normal that others have 20% inflation per year!

As Paul said on Slack, they have upgrades planned. They wouldn't be talking with companies and industries that require a billion entries per day if there weren't plans in place to handle that capacity. Nor would the DHS and SMARTRAC (!!) be working with them if the current tps limit were hard/fixed—much less China w/ their smart city initiative. The amount of data the last two will likely require is enormous. And has been explained before, FCT's base price (minus speculation) is directly proportionate to the protocol's usage.

Bottom line is at the moment there is more money to be made shorting this thing. Buyers are running dry, and its easy and cheap to borrow Fct and sell it to tank the price down and make people panic sell off....which always is what happens. Can't do that with coins that arent on margin list so consider Factom a blessing with this buy order book and loan rate. No matter what nobody is going to pay a sustained price above $2-3 dollars it looks like so please use your head and logic and do what makes sense...

Paul's response to Mrboot on Slack today:

"... 'expecting 1000 tps'.   Factom is going to build over time.  47 tps sustained (peaks of 150 tps or more) with about 60% of 800% available on my laptop (I7 with 16 GB ram) is pretty solid performance, for one chain.  Factom only handles data, so we can stack chains on chains for arbitrary performance.  This is also needed to prevent applications from having to process the entire data stream of all data.  We expect applications to run on their shard and exchange proofs with applications on other shards.  That's because the hash is proof for data.

We are not building all of that out at this time, because it isn't necessary and there is no market for it yet.  But we will have it in place when there is a market.

Factom's architecture isn't limited to 47 tps.   That's what we can do without even noticing the load in the background of my laptop.  And we can scale from there."

And btw, anyone interested in discussions like this, instead of arguing with trolls, check out Factom's Slack link here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/factom/comments/5jbgyh/factom_community_slack_new_invite_link_expires/

Paul's a mod and has been answering a number of questions. Closing in on 200 members and already much better discussion over past few days than past couple months on this thread.

Papu, my friend, so far I thought you were an egocentric troll. But now I see you re even above that. You constant posting about how you did well only show how little self confidence you have and how you constantly require somebody to tap you back and say you did good.

Guess what, it aint gonna happen here. We all know very well you re just full of BS.

If I m wrong, I DARE YOU to show your verifiable trade logs showing how you made ton on this dump. This is what you claim in your post so you should have no problem doing this. Please do it and I ll openly apologise here for having any doubt about you being master of crypto trade and analysis. If not, shut up kid.

Once more, VERIFIABLE proof. I ve been into crypto for a long time and cannot be tricked just like that.

I can bet out friend Papu s now going to start posting very creative reasons why he cannot or won't do this.

Checkmate, ha?

Whales Manipulating the Market, BTC rising, Panic selling going on. This every factor is affecting Factom so much that it has returned to the price where it started. But this is not the end. 2017 will be the FCT year...

What concerns me is that the Factom team has no concern over their project pumping and dumping 80% swings...thats just too crazy. Also very interesting to see the pump started to happen a few days before the official M2 release news so I wonder how some insiders had info about this and why did these select few get this information only? Real shady shit going on with the Factom crew....

hihi The shorting trolls are at it again.

Factom promised M2 and delivered M2.
It is quite simple: Factom has a use case and has clients. If your attention span is bigger than that of a goldfish and average crypto troll just hold on to those tokens

Yesterday he said he was crying because he closed his shorts too early. The guy didn't make any money. Otherwise he would have posted the proof here ;-) He only lost a lot during the last few weeks, making wrong choices all the time.. lol
