Regarding news the dynamic in active projects is opposite to project that become or are inactive. That means: 1) The longer the time without news in inactive projects, the risk increases that there won't be any news in future and that a project simply dies. 2) The longer the time without news in active projects, the chance increases that there will be news "soon". If a project is active or not is pretty easy to see on github, twitter, different communication-channels and so on. All channels say for Factom: High activity. If we would use a scale from 1-10 it would be at least a 9. Plus: The Factom-team was never so communicative with the community like the last weeks since the Slack was opened. Paul Snow gives updates about the current status, Steven Masley is very helpful whenever somebody has software issues and asks for help and so on. My advice would be not to focus only on Bitcointalk. But even for this thread it's not really true to say there would be no news. There are just no official news while the important statements were pasted in here. |

It is good for Factom to spread the awareness to the mainstream publicity. You know Jaxx is listing on Apple store, which means Apple Jaxx users can have the chance to know, buy and use the Factom tokens. FCT is on the way moon. |

Jaxx is very slow wallet I don't use it and don't understand why people so like it? Regarding the news and activity in Factom project I will summarize this way: it is better to don't have any news than to noise fake news with stupid marketing strategy. In other words - you should talk only when you want to announce some important things and keep your mouth closed when you have nothing substantial to add. If no, it is only hype foolish and misleading marketing. |

I don't like Jaxx wallet very much, it seems all over the place and they keep adding or removing features as if they don't know what their goal is. Exodus on the other hand is amazing, beatiful, easy to use and they are constantly adding new features, slowly but surely. In their last version you can now hide assets you don't have or care about. I can't wait to see Factom listed there. The integration with Shapeshift is great, I doubt I'll ever use it due to the spreads and fees but the option to quickly change your assets right from your secured wallet without messing with exchanges it's great. We don't know what the future holds but sometimes there's no time to send to a exchange, wait and then create orders to sell, so maybe Shapeshift integration will come in handy. It's definitely the closest thing to an usable decentralized exchange if you think about it. |

I've noticed over the last 2 large BTC rises that you make more BTC buying and holding an altcoin than trying to play that big BTC bounce that comes after every mega rise. You end up with more BTC picking your favorite altcoins early than you would if you got out of BTC into USDTether. I don't mean the main BTC peak itself (500-780-1150). I mean the bounce that comes afterward a month or so later that is always followed by huge altcoin booms. The mega rises are worth it because very few alts start rising immediatley after BTC starts dropping. But the big bounce is not. For example, if BTC hits 1100 dollars within the next few days and drops back to 950 over the next month or so. You sell all BTC into USDT at 1100. Then you wait weeks for the low of 950. In that time a dozen alts will have gone up 30, 50, and 100 percent or more. 15 percent increase in your BTC from selling it and sitting around waiting a month to buy back is nothing compared to what the altcoins offer in this phase. Just interesting to see it happening a 3rd time |

Great, factom received funding again, it is another $750000 round fund invested. So far factom has received 2000 BTC from crowdfunding, and VC, factom keeps delivering, and make the software to support banks for further using. |
