All time highs on Bitstamp the past hour or so... trading $1.46 over Gox
i think it was already at 62. this is a bitcoinity bug, my guess is it uses the mtgox ATH as a reference for all other charts, whereas there should be separate ones (or none) for them.

How hard to be satisfied people are! Think about it, 2 days ago would you not all jump for joy if you had known the price will be $60? Now it's just business as usual. It is funny how that works out. It's almost instantaneous. The moment we broke $60 we all began to act as if that was the new mandatory minimum That's just so human though. In my experience we also have a tendency to do that when learning a new skill - once we have done something well once we expect that henceforth to be our base standard! Maybe the most accurate descriptor I can think of at the moment for the Bitcoin market (since the 750k buy and subsequent peak yesterday) is that it is running around like a headless chicken * Zoom out. The chicken has been running up a mountain for 11 weeks! Yes, I suppose we should give the poor chicken a break. It seems to have calmed down a bit by now anyway.

I can't really recall a time that people who try and play the arbitrage game have done such a poor job $1.46 are only 2.5%, maybe it became unprofitable when you add up the fees

It looks like Al Gore just endorsed Bitcoin "I'm a big fan of BitCoin" "Regulation of money supply needs to be depoliticized.... especially as it applies to virtual currencies"

Did this one pass me by? Did Bitcoin have any representation there? Anybody from here that can corroborate any of this and give us the gist of what went down there?

The news has 6 confirmations on Twitter, so that's good enough for me. He seems to like it because he's into technology, he thinks Bitcoin has a low carbon footprint, and he's apparently studied up on it quite a bit. Shall we twitterbot him some BTC?
