btccharts.com appear to stay online when there's an outage like this as well. I'm just asking because I have an idea for something different but in a similar vein. |

Bitcoinity is being weird for me. It always shows the correct amount, but after a while it randomly shows $0 and won't ever get out of this dumb mode no matter how long I wait, until I refresh the page again and then the process repeats.

You THINK they would have say.... 5 hardcore connections that go out to 5 servers that broadcast feeds out to everyone. this seems to be able to scale infinitely |
