Trolol I thought gox had "fixed" this.
they aren't deploying the announced change until april 17th. i don't know about anyone else, but it's the 9th for me. Interesting, so that will in fact test the "lag is preventing the price from crashing" hypothesis.

Ok, next challenge: will we hit 1337 pages or $1337 first? I'm betting on the latter.

Bulls and bears are dead
2 new animals need to be picked
The way Bitcoin is going I vote for the cheetah for one. And instead of the bear:

Notice how the slope of the exponential is only just now reaching the 2011 bubble slope. That bubble took us up over another order of magnitude before popping. So if this is a short-term bubble there is at least a precedent that it would pop near $1,000.

I don't think we will reach $1000 before some huge swings(something would be considered "crash"), it ain't so easy for everyone to become rich.

I still everyone is underestimating how many people are now becoming interested in bitcoin and buying in. I've gone from having everyone I've brought BTC up to having gone from "da fuq you sayin'" in 2012 to "Oh yea, I heard about that. It sounds interesting. Tell me more" The world is a big place people. Of course, I know that the bears will say "Normal people have heard of bitcoin, therefore bubble" but I disagree. We ain't talkin' bout no beanie babies.
With that said, looks like da bulls beat da bears at their own lag game. WEEEEE

Despite all the trolling I did in the past that isn't so far from the truth, except they aren't really nerds.

Does that explain BTC "chunk" buys? Don't think so.

I don't know anyone who will hold you, but I'm sure plenty of peeps will be more than happy to hold your coins But seriously, this feels roughly like a repeat of when we broke 100. If I was more inclined, I'd work up some numbers and find the percentage increase when we went over 100 to now when we broke 200. But I'm not so inclined....
