Whoever put the bids in at 150$ when bids were down at 106$ and depth to 100$ was down to 10k. Thank you so much!

That would be me... guessing where the price would be 15 minutes ahead of time.   But I can't complain.  I sold higher.

People, please keep in mind that a pullback is what the some investors are waiting for... to let exuberance pop.  The fundamental value and promise that underlies Bitcoin remains strong.  So hang onto your coins!

Please hire competent programmer(s),  and by that I mean not to use the current id10t donkey you have now, to make your software work without lag.
The problem is their choice of algorithms for their matching engine.

 Grin

I did click on that link and thought "okey, now I'm gonna learn something about how their engine works and why it lags..."

Boy, was I wrong!

Real Bounty: Find DDOS trader. MtGox should turn over all data to the Bitcoin police about who hit the megatrade button right before DDOS was turned on. We show that money and will can defeat Internet anonymity and international borders.

Ok, this is just, what?

I'm not making any more trades today. Poured myself a glass of 25-year old scotch and I'm going to watch the Bitcoin world burn.

It was obviously a coordinated attack on several key Bitcoin sites.

While I don't think this is likely, I have noticed that every time this happens bitcoincharts.com fails completely, and bitcoinity.org/markets often fails too.

My guess is people who made big profits on the dip sold. I was thinking about doing it, because we knew it wasn't going to just go back to 200 and hold right away.

As soon as selling started, people worried about a second sell off, and created it themselves.

Now it'll take a bit to find a new price between 100 and 200.
