So if this is a short-term bubble there is at least a precedent that it would pop near $1,000. I don't think we will reach $1000 before some huge swings(something would be considered "crash"), it ain't so easy for everyone to become rich. if 100=20 then you are correct sir |

Trolol I thought gox had "fixed" this.
they aren't deploying the announced change until april 17th. i don't know about anyone else, but it's the 9th for me.  Interesting, so that will in fact test the "lag is preventing the price from crashing" hypothesis. I still prefer the "nerds remortgaging their houses are preventing the price from crashing" hypothesis. Despite all the trolling I did in the past that isn't so far from the truth, except they aren't really nerds. Only something that are falsifiable can become truth. Come on I am making this easy. Notice the subtle "so far from"  |

Fresh fiat getting in, was to be expected. It takes around 1-4 weeks of time between first hearing about Bitcoin and buying bitcoins, so this will continue for some time. |

Bids/Asks that can't be filled do not appear in the order book. Otherwise people would have fun putting up 21 Million BTC walls. |
