Most of these people were brought into cryptocurrency via Hashlets...
The only thing they know of or are stuck with is Josh Garza and Gawminers.

They will all eventually learn that there is more than just hashtalk and gawminers on the internet.

I believe a big group of users are paid shills by Josh too... they must get a weekly paycheck for shilling.
How could there be such a concentration of idiots all in one place?

First off I would like to thank most of you guys in this thread, you opened my eyes to GAW last month, I just about exited last week with those guys, cashed out my XPY at $13 a pop. I sold all my primes, genesis’s, and all but one Zen left. As I watch Cryptsy and read this thread, I wish I could buy all you guys beers.

I am relatively new to Bitcoin, so I have a question. Does anybody have a timeline of what will happen next? Like I have never seen any of this before and am curious what happens if XPY goes to 0?

Will the authorities step in? Can you compare this to like Madoff or Enron? Of course on a much smaller scale?
Will GAW just say “Sorry guys, maybe next time?” and walk away? What normally happens?
If its DOA by the time the Miami Conference starts, do you think he will have the balls to still show up?

Like I said, this is the first time I am witnessing something like this in realtime.

Multiple people there are saying that remove paycoin from other exchanges will make it easier to have a 20 dollar floor. How on earth would that work?

There's two 2000+ xpy sell orders creeping up looking to take xpy below .01 at any sec... It reminds me of a shark frenzy.

Get rid of the exchanges, then gaw/paybase can control the price:

ie, we will buy 1xpy for $20 for every 1xpy we sell for $20 (with 10% fee both ways).

Cause they actually make money on every sale this way rather than lose any money. Basically they can make it work like their hash market in a sense.

No they don't. 20 - fee is more money than 4 right now.

These people are more than welcomed to come talk to me about what transpired tonight. In all honesty I gave a well thought our response and apparently I was not the only one. This isn't about money, this is about preventing another black eye to the crypto community as a whole.

This morning it came to our attention that Coin-Swap.net had been purchased by GAWMiners, which disturbed me a bit to say the very least. Coin-Swap’s past owner, Ian, was and is still a great friend of the Opal Team, and we congratulate him that he was able to profit from his exchange, as he deserves it. However, over the past few days it has come to our attention that Paycoin may not be everything it was claimed to be. There are multiple reasons people have called Paycoin a scam, and while it is unclear at this point, there are too many red flags for the Opal Team to trust GAW with our communities Opal, no matter how large or small. These red flags include:

A promise to the community to purchase Paycoin’s at $20/coin (https://i.imgur.com/OVQdmym.png), which is four times the current price of Paycoin. GAW has tried to hide this promise (https://archive.today/W3OTH), and has shown they cannot be trusted.

In an audit by Opal’s lead dev, Whit Jack, he discovered that special addresses stake at a rate up to 350%, which was never publicly disclosed, again proving they are not trustworthy. This has been verified by other users.

These reasons, plus a few more have caused us to request Coin-Swap delist Opal, as both a protection for our community, and as a stand against GAW and other companies that prey on cryptocurrency users.

The evidence keeps mounting. Geez you guys are making it easy by doing homework for class action lawyers and a DA somewhere (hopefully Federal) to end this fiasco. Mt GAW indeed.
