So, anyone that doesn't burn their coins once sent to self, will just be missing out on the 10:1, or will those coins be lost?
I followed the steps exactly(starting from bittrex and having no wallet*), waiting for the 10 confirmations each time. What happens after the burn is where questions come from. Like where are the new coins coming from?
*I added the conf file and bootstrap downloads from the first post in this thread, to the roaming BitCurrency dir to get things going.

Hope dev will confirm soon what me must do.
I already had wallet with w wallet on my computer and send all coins from trex there.
I updated to the new wallet and coins in there now.
I presume we must generate a new address in new wallet and send the coins in wallet back to new wallet with new address generated (my opinion is it just stay in same wallet (b) after we resend it to new address).
After that we must send it to burn address.
It's easy After you update to B address wallet, make a new address, copy it and send all your coins to the address you just made. That will make it easier to import private key because its just 1 address also it will make it easier for me to send to.. then send from that address you made to the burn address B88888888888888888888888888852jDUM

my coins are already in my wallet, I updated to B wallet and their all in the new (B) wallet... now I can just send them to the burn address?
I tried making a new address in B wallet and sending from W wallet didn't work, then tried loading the new B wallet with all the old app files from wallet w and it started up all synced with all my coins in it... I tried sending them to the new empty B wallet I had made and it said error?

If you followed step by step, there was no confusion presented. Starting with a working W application that you see has all it's confirmations on transactions, you exit that and start up the B application wallet. From there you'll see your old whistle balance shown as the new currency, then you make a new address, and send all your coins, minus the transaction fee(if applicable), to this real B address. Then once confirmed, you can send to the burn address. As I understand it, if you send to the burn address with your false W address, it will be impossible to get coins back, as you don't have that B address.

It would be possible but harder. You still have that address. But it doesnt show it so you need to go to the block explorer see which address you sent from, then go to the the B address wallet and dumprivkey of that one then import it into the new coin's wallet.

If you already have B address in wallet, is it really important to create new one and send it to yourself again?

I'm trying to get how to coin burn swap and I was wondering if this would work
I have a fully synced WSTL wallet BitCurrency-Qt-1.2.0.259 downloaded from your post as "W address" all my coins are shown all good.
Now I download your new bitcurrency wallet from your post marked as "B address"
My question is can I download the new "B address" wallet to another computer so i have a fresh new wallet, then send my coins from my "W address" on my main pc to the "B address" wallet on my spare pc?
if so
then I would wait for the coins to confirm in my "B address" then send them to the burn address "B88888888888888888888888888852jDUM"
would this work ?

It would be much better, if swap would be done with exchange. Manipulating in wallet, sending here/sending there/sending everywhere, will cause a lot of lost coins, a lot of trouble.
Zeded make arrangement with exchange to do the swap. Like other coins did.
I already tested one send to burn wallet, send you pm and didn't get any feedback from you.

Simply put your wstl wallet.dat in the btcr B address appdata roaming folder then click "new address" then send to it. then send from that address to the burn address

when I make a new receive address in wallet B, then try to send coins from that same wallet b to the address I created it says "payment creation error"
Because the transaction is too big. Too many inputs. So try to send a lesser amount.

Hi
Stupid question but not sure, I send the coins to address that I generated in wallet.
The only thing that show up on Transactions is the fee and not the total that I send out, is this right or must the totals you send out to yourself also show.

i think it does that cause it knows your sending them to yourself (not sure, I thought it was odd at first)

Weird I send the total amount of coins to new address no problem. Now not sure if I done it right.
did you have your coins in your first wallets staking the whole time? I figure it was cause each coin in my wallet has been staked many times and has lists of txids' with them (i could be wrong)
