you shouldnt have to do anything other than have a new wallet

does your receive addresses have a W or a B at the beginning of it? the first btcr wallet still had W at the start of addy's the new btcr wallet has a B and is the one you need.

Please withdraw your WSTL from Bittrex into your wallet. So you can send to the burn address.

1.  Bittrex currently only supports sending to W addresses. so download the W address wallet from here:     https://mega.co.nz/#!2FVDGCqb!arHGZiqM0-  mgzrFm5iKhxSI0OjingHU63O_CgyWHRp8

2.  Then after you receive it from Bittrex, update your wallet to the B address wallet from here: https://mega.co.nz/#!iEtgCbZI!IP6VVqb-cub5ik16NICfaiHGvhZVgOSy8aPlLifY_CM

3.  Then make a new address and send all your coins to it.
Then send all your coins to this burn address: B88888888888888888888888888852jDUM

you just need to download the wallet stated on number 2 and run it.  the wallet on number 2 is fully compatible with the previous one, no need to touch what is in the appdata

note: when you run the wallet that generates B addresses, your received address tab is blank reason why you need to create a new address, from that you have to generate an address that starts in B and just send your coin in the wallet on that address and wait for the coin to be confirmed and then send to the burn address.

Does your coin need a multipool?

Getting a multipool for your coin will create buy pressure on exchanges.
And it will allow people with mining power to get more coins for their hashrate.

well it should be safe. unless the dev dies during th process

as to teh reason ? i dont really know, but we will receive 10x the coins. so it seems to be for distribution of existing dev coins.

doing the swap like this means -
anyone who misses out on the swap will still have their current coins.
active users will be rewarded for doing the swap (with the extra coins)
and dead coins will just stay dead and not be changed.

BitCurrency will have 10x the coin supply of WSTL (I believe), and they've not been returned yet because it hasn't been launched. When it has the BTCR will be sent out to everyone who sent to the burn address.
