There is no real recovery here. He'll probably pay out some large accounts that were just his shills to begin with, and possibly some smaller legit accounts. This is textbook from the Pirate playbook as well. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised to see raskul get refunded as a PR move. All the guys who are silently sitting their on 10BTC+ losses and possibly don't even know it yet, those guys are screwed.

Especially if you are Canadian and have bought from PBmining I urge you to file a report. If not, file one anyway. They did recover a bunch of Bitcoin from Pirate@40 and he's going to be enjoying a cell soon, hopefully everyone behind PBmining suffers the same.

Ok, i am TorukMakto in PBMINING with 12240 GHS and also i am Customer 22537 (also know as Pluton14) with 112856 GHS the biggest one, and

I HAVE BEEN REFUNDED IN FULL BY PBMING just today as he promised

I have also noticed that he paid another customer a large quantity of bitcoins, but much less than mine.

This is all i can say, i spoke to him the last few days, at times he was rude and stupid, but he has proven that he is not a thief, at least to me.

This account was probably a ponzi account which means double/triple scraping our btcs.

The fact is, pbmining paid out weekly with no downtime since they started. And they were honest since, and maybe they are telling the truth still.
Since the location of the mining rigs maybe compromised. It is possible that they are using lesser mining rigs for now, until they move to a more secure location. That might be the reason for the substantial loss of hashing.

LOCATION COMPROMISED? - THERE IS NOT AN ELITE SQUAD OF HITMANN THAT ROAM THE STREETS OF CANADA TRYING TO STEAL MORE EQUIPMENT THAN COULD BE MOVED IN A DAY... THAT WOULD BE LIKE SAYING BEST BUY NEEDS TO KEEP THE LOCATION OF THEIR STORES SECRET SO NOBODY STEALS ANYTHING...NOBODY IS AFTER JASON BOYKO OTHER THAN PEOPLE HE STOLE FROM FIRST
Based on his post, there are guys blackmailing him and would do anything to get what they want. It doesnt neccesarily mean stealing it, have you heard of mining rigs being set on fire.

First time I have ever invested anything in my life, I come from not a rich background and what I invested to me is a lot of money. I trusted PB mining and joined because of it was insured like. I want a refund and I at least want something back to help my losses because now what I was saving for to go back college to study aromatherapy won't happen now I am not going to get back in investment what I was going to have.

To you my refund would be pittance and peanuts but Like I said I never invested before in a company and 900 is what hash power I bought and I'm in complete shit street, I read on the forum you gave a refund to a guy who spend a lot but I need this cash to do my course I need to go on. I am not rich and not asking for much. Just 2 bitcoins would be perfect and although not what I invested or what I would have got back but I would be happy to settle with this.

Please please I need that cash, though I was going to get the cash from the mining but I am  desperate to not loose my cash as I trusted you and thought was getting more back. Please Jason could you just allow me to settle with 2 bitcoins it's slightly under what I paid or would have received back but I am not greedy and to me that would show you humility on someone who paid 900 and I really need that cash for my course.

I'm feeling so depressed and low and crying right now because what invested was a hell of a lot of money to me and from the background income ai am from.

Oh, refunds done? Only to the scam accounts here? Or is there some real person,
who can post the blockchain info of withdrawal? If yes, please post.

Then I will ask for refund too! Please transfer it to my payout adress!

(I think, it is the same to write a wishlist to santa.... Wink)

BTW: I am so glad, not to sell my last six S3+, real hardware is best, even I dont have to pay
powercost, because they are at a friends waterpowerstation for heating the room.   Grin Grin Grin

Ever heard of hacking mining rigs?
As the website indicates:
"PB Mining is a fully trusted business in SK, Canada with an established eBay account. We have 100% feedback rating on our sales and have grown a very positive reputation in the Bitcoin community! As our good friends know, we have been hacked, pushed around, and almost turned into bacon.. but our customers have not stopped mining -- not even for a second! We are here to stay. "

There were threats of hacking already since they started.
Anyway, you have your opinion, i have mine.

They can still come out on top if they manage to refund everyone. If that happens will the people who threatened him and called a scammer apologize? Closing down the business doesn't make him a thief.

People have already made this point, but how do Facebook threats shut down mining ASICs? Read carefully... he said in spite of substantial losses, he's going to TRY to refund what he can. The cake is a lie.
Hello Mr ThePhwner.  We know where you and your family live.  We know where your offices are and we know who works for you.  I am sure you would consider 20% of your earnings a small price to pay to make sure nothing happened to any of those people or properties.  As this is the internet, this email was sent via Tor and the money is to be paid to a bitcoin address which will then go through SEVERAL mixers.  You won't be able to trace us.

Sleep well.

See, its quite simple.

Bullshit.

If that actually worked then people would just go through the yellowpages and blackmail every company listed.

I don't understand how all of this started and why everyone seems to think Jason was about to run off. I haven't seen any evidence, all I have seen is that someone took it upon themselves to post his facebook profile because they "THOUGHT" pbmining was skimming. I haven't seen any evidence that I should be mad at PBMining (Jason) for (other than the fact that they shutdown due to threats), and as it stands it does look like he was harassed and chased out with no concrete evidence, just accusations.

Someone please fill in the blanks, I have read through most of this thread and haven't seen anything of the like.

They dropped their payouts by 10% one week. They logged in daily, but didn't respond to customers for four days after the payment were sent with their excuse. When they finally gave out their excuse, they said their new mining formula was "A - B = C". This pissed people off (which makes sense) so they found out Jason Boyko's personal details. When he realized his details were out in the open, Jason decided to take PBMining in another direction, and spin down the company. I'm thinking had someone not found his details, chances are he would have run off with the bitcoins he had from PB in the near future. Now he's blaming blackmailing and death threats for the death of the company, which is interesting because before he came out and said the company was shutting down, PBMining said "As far as law enforcement is concerned, there will be a statement made and the threats & blackmail messages will be shown to them." So I guess they paid off the threats and blackmail instead of going to authorities like they said?

It seems that there's lots going on, and probably lots more we don't yet know about Jason. At least now we have solid facts on him, and I'm sure if customers want to file a lawsuit again him, they will.

ROFL. You're quite simple. A, you just did that on the record. B, I've never hidden my real identity, or location, as I am involved in a couple Bitcoin-related ventures. But hey I'm real impressed that you know about Tor and mixers. In the mean time, PB Mining stole from customers, I'm screwed out of BTC like everyone else, and you're a dick with a single digit IQ.

pretty obvious he was being blackmailed by someone who found out this is one big scam

so he paid the blackmailer to keep it going,  problem is,  ponzi scheme could not keep going after the loss of funding.

I can only hope one of the big fish being ripped off here was a Mexican Drug lord.

have a happy life there Jason ol boy...

Is sad  whats happend with pbmining, im a customer of pbmining too and i remember when i defend them because they pay me every week... Now, i must say that i was wrong, they are a scammers/ponzi and all those ppl who try to advert us in his main thread was right.

Is sad what i read from pbmining, everything looks for me like an excuse, and in the end, thats exactly what is it, your business was a ponzi/scam and this is why you closed it, is not because someone discover and made public who you are, no no, is not because of that.

i will not beleive you or what you write anymore, now you sayd that you will try to give us back some BTC, should we beleive in you after whats happend to your company? why?

I fell shame because i was in your signature campaign, you pay us yes, but if I had known what I know now I would not have done.

I wish i m wrong, but dont expect that some of your BTC come back guys.

I really shouldn't really reply but, you must be American as you missed the irony of my post.  Wink  I wasn't trying to blackmail you, I was just trying to make a point of how easy it would be to do something like this.  It's not like the films where they tap the phone when the blackmailer calls and then have cops waiting when the drop is made.  With the internet you can be pretty anonymous, and if someone threatens your family, are you really, really going to take that chance?
