Awesome! Hopefully this is the start of some momentum for Halcyon. I firmly believe we can get people attracted to this coin again.

EDIT: not sure if link is working though.

So, what's about my proposal for merged mining with FTC? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=895829.msg13212367#msg13212367

Shall we or not? We can also go for more radical measures like a complete rebase to a new platform with Turing complete smart contracts and other good things. It will take more time and may require coin exchange between the current and new block chains.

BTW what we will do with those Halcions in a craptsy wallet, regarding the swap to the new chain? I have many Halcions in a crapsy, will i have some compensation in a new chain?

Merged mining is okay, a new chain with smart contracts may be even better.

I think Cryptsy must release them. They weren't stolen or whatever.

Any time line on the new HAL wallet project?

Yea my wallet seems to go to sleep after a day or 2, then all good when I restart it.

What does it mean "to go to sleep"? My wallets run and stake fine.

It looks like everything is fine, shows connections, shows up to date, staking green. If I send something to it after a couple days, sometimes weeks, it doesn't show up. I restart it and it starts catching up on blockchain and I'm good to go again, for awhile anyway. This on windows 7, I may be changing to Linux in a few days so that may fix my problem.

Add the core nodes from the OP to your halcyon.conf in order stay synchronised if you have no incoming connections.

Well, there was a new exchange announced on the previous page, but it seems to be offline more time than online. No doubt a more reliable trade platform is needed.

I have finally put together a simple web site. It will do the job for a while.

There is also community voting at Cryptopia. Users can vote for HAL every day. It's definitely doable this way with active community participation.

Is there any exchanges where Halcyon can be traded right now? Also if not has anyone looked into getting it listed onto an exchange?

Well, it's listed for voting at Cryptopia and getting some votes daily. However it seems to be a slow process.
