You are sure work on port 4233 ? .
Yes, just make sure you have the -p c=HAL after your coin address. altminer doesn't have a dedicated port for HAL.

Any good pools to mine this coin?

I've tried altminer.net just now and in the past and getting very low return comparing to my hashrate - mined VIVO in the past.

Just tried on zpool but return was very low in 1hour only 1coin with a hash power of 10mh/s. Not sure if it is related to the message that they are low on this coin?
"We are short of this currency (0.80425471 HAL). Please STOP your miners and switch to BTC until we find more HAL blocks.
YOU are responsible if you continue to mine for HAL despite this warning."

Does this mean that I mined almost for free all this hour? Any advise would be great.

Thanks

It seems like Altminer is getting 90%+ of the blocks. https://altminer.net/site/block?id=500

hi , im trying to mine this coin i download the ccminer-1.6.3-git-tpruvot and edit the batch file with the following: ccminer.exe -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://eu1.altminer.net:4233 -u HRmVBDJHiBEYFmD4YEsS5hcy6kGDEXSxyZ -p c=HAL

i think its working the stats i get from the miner are  :

GPU #0: GeForce GTX 980 Ti, 598.62 kH/s
GPU #1: GeForce GTX 980 Ti, 711.69 kH/s
GPU #1: GeForce GTX 980 Ti, 712.18 kH/s
accepted: 203/207 (98.07%), 1308.91 kH/s yay!!!

is this hashrate correct for 2 gtx 980 ti ? or i m doing something wrong

thanks in advance !

Can anyone confirm than zpool.ca makes any payment? Ive got around 24 hours of mining there and their api says:

{"currency": "HAL", "unsold": 0.6944121581305, "balance": 4.46162589, "unpaid": 5.15603805, "paid24h": 0.00000000, "total": 5.15603805}

I went on Altminer.net pool and after around an hour, infos from the api:

{"currency": "HAL", "unsold": 0.1277844123481, "balance": 0.00000000, "unpaid": 0.12778441, "paid24h": 0.04665941, "total": 0.17444382}

Just want to know if zpool.ca makes their payments? Thanks!
