You say the fee is lowered to 1% due to the problems:

"Sorry for all the problems this week. Fee set to 1% untill 8/4/2013 01:00 UTC."

8/4/2013, that was 3 days ago? So is this claim even valid?

what is the DIFF column in the notroll worker summary?

the difificulty of the blocks they are doing?

some are 32 sometimes though I see 128?
It shows you the difficulty the pool set (vardiff, min is 32) for the last share you submitted.

so a more difficult share is worth more coins?

and it seems to automatically assign more difficult shares to faster rigs?

I just started mining again on the server and it seems the payout is still to high.  If so, PM me with a pool address and I will give some back.  I want to earn fair and square Grin

To everyone that is sure that they lost too much, I will put up something (a page, or pm's, i'm not sure yet.) so i can look into it. I know it wasn't fair to everyone but i had to take immediate action.

It's sad to see that even after 2 days nobody even thought of telling me. I really thought the LTC community was more mature then this.
(And as stated before by MANY pools, pools are NOT a bank.)

That's funny, you were able to "take immediate action" by helping yourself to other peoples' money, but you didn't bother to write so much as one line of text on your site, or here, to let anyone know what was going on. Then you call your users immature!

I actually stopped using notroll.in on Sunday because it seemed like you were UNDERpaying. With all of the slowness & downtime, it was hard to tell, but it looked like a portion of my shares weren't being counted. I was actually earning only about half of what I should have been at notroll.in, given my hashrate, so if that number suddenly doubled, I probably would have just assumed that the site issues had been worked out, and the pool was finally having a normal day. It certainly wouldn't have appeared to me that I was being overpaid.

But it looks like I moved on to another pool before any of this happened. I was lucky enough to be able to withdraw my LTC a few hours before you decided to start helping yourself to other peoples' money, too.

So pools aren't a bank so that means you can take peoples litecoins to cover your own mistakes! Sounds real professional and mature.

I think even if some how you can't find out exactly who were double paid by what amount, you should be able to find out who mined during the period, AND what they were paid, correct?

Now if you just deduct these people's balance, by the amount they were overpaid, even making their balance negative, would have been fair, you have a record of their IP, yes? anyone who register on your site again with that IP just set their balance to the same negative amount. So either they never mine on your site again, or they will have to pay back. I doubt anyone will go through the trouble of avoiding your pool that they apparently liked to mine at, just for gaining a few LTC.

The action you have taken, deducting EVERYONE's balance by 25%, even those people that didn't mine during those two days, people that were trusting your pool to hold LTC for them. I believe this is morally the wrong thing to do, and is unfair. Now I understand using a pool as wallet is not very smart, but still it is wrong to take money from people that did no wrong.

Ya know what, FO.  He/She is doing the best they can.  Cut them a break.  You get money for nothing and you expect millions!  Get real and play the mining game.

If you were a real gold mier, you would dig a hole in the earth and expect return.  Dig a hole in the cyber world and what you get is what you get.  Buck up Pancho!

You get money for nothing and you expect millions!

This is entirely untrue, a lot of us have put a bit of investment into our hardware not to mention electricity costs.  Mining is already a pretty tight margin for many as it is, every bit counts.

No, miners are not "getting money for nothing". Miners usually pay electricity cost and upfront hardware cost. Someone maybe mining at a slim margin, and can't afford to lose 25% of what they mined for weeks. This would actually put some miners in red, especially if they didn't profit at all from the double pay.

What is the timeline for getting payouts moving again?

I'm wondering the same. So far it's been a pool mining fee of 100%. I've got 137 LTC stuck.

Yep, that's called vardiff. The faster you rig is, the more difficulty you will have until 128. This is better because your miner don't need to get work everytime. Your rewards are proportionnals anyway.

That's the cost of mining.  If you aren't ready to scrape your knees, then stay in bed.

No luck here. I still can't withdraw. All I want is a simple acknowledgement of when the problem is estimated to be remedied. I really like the pool, but honestly I can't pay the electric bills taking 0 LTC in return. I'm happy to continue mining and donating again if a payout will happen. I'm not the biggest fish, but at 23 MH/s it's got to be worth something to the pool. This is disappointing.

I'm glad someone is able to get their money out of the system. Unfortunately I think the large players are probably getting screwed the worst. My theory is that the higher your balance is, the more probable it is that there aren't sufficient funds to cover the withdrawal in the wallet, thus you get an invalid transaction error.

It'd be interesting to hear from others as to whether or not they are able to withdraw low balances or not.

It's pretty disappointing that we haven't had an official update on how/when this will be resolved. I'm surprised people are still mining here with these issues not being addressed, let alone fixed.

"Aaaaaand it's gone!"

Yes, admin Nicksasa plundered 25% of our balance (deposit we had on the pool) to cover minor gains (he overpayed miners 14 hours)
