Well since there is so much heat about stealing funds directly they have to be a little more creative above it.

I was able to withdraw my funds, so he isn't stealing any coins. He did say he wants to set up that page for people who had too many coins taken from them, that could be why there's an issue

I'm sorry about you guys losing funds. I have not had this problem with this pool. Its been ok for me.

However I been noticing that the gpu has been oscillating between 850-1050 when I was monitoring it through afterburner. After a few minutes I noticed the website was showing 0 hashs. Switched pools and then it was steady but yes it was still accepting shares.

So I guess websites down.

Also, PPNLS really blows especially for LTC.  LTC difficulty changes every 3-3.5 days.  With PPNLS, you are subjected to variance and if you run into some bad variance, then your earnings are GREATLY reduced when compared to a PPS (pay per share) pool.   The PPNLS advocates report that OVER time, it will even out or be slightly better.  In my time mining with PPNLS, I earned considerably less then I did with PPS.

Therefore, you could have 3-5 days of bad luck with a PPNLS pool and see the difficulty change twice on you and have severely reduced earnings.

I will still mine at notroll and just withdraw daily.  There is a reason a PPS pool is the largest.

PPNLS is subject to variance, yes - but it can go either way. You can also make more than your expectation if the pool happens to have a "lucky" day.

If the pool is large enough (and there are a couple that are), then variance is pretty much not a factor.

I switched from notroll.in to a PPNLS pool (give-me-ltc) about 10 days ago and I have made at least 50% MORE than I did at notroll.in every single day. Some days I was nearly +100%. I come very close to my expectation (via calculator based on hashrate, after pool cut) every day - some days I'm slightly over, some days I'm slightly under. If I average the 10 days, I'm nearly exactly where I should be, expectation-wise.

The variance criticism of PPNLS is really only valid for small pools. Large ones are going to be finding blocks quickly enough that luck swings are going to smooth out over pretty short timeframes.

I spent 3-4 days with give-me-ltc.com PPNLS pool and EVERY day I made less then I would have with PPS pool.

I say let people try it and see what they find out. It is interesting that this PPS is still quite popular Smiley

Every PPLNS has paid poorly with me. I always get  better payouts with pps. I think the reason is noone really stays there and the chances of getting a block is so dismal. When they do its devided up to favour the winners of the pool.At Notroll I would get 2.3 ltc a day and on a pplns it would be around 0.9 and that was the good one. Then there are those that you basically give up half way and leave your pay cus its below the threshhold. Then there is p2pool where you accumulate tx fees. Not so good to be a miner nowadays.

I would love to see a PPS pool with the same kind of miner/website like bitminter. Too bad thats only bitcoin.

Yep, I agree.
My miners also accept shares as usual.
If this turns out to be a presentation issue on the site, and my LTC's are still being counted "under the hood" then it's fine.
Otherwise I've used notroll for last time.

+1

notroll.in worked great for a long time. It seems those times are gone ...

Yeah I'm wondering that too, although until I know, I've switched to another pool for now.

Just noticed that I'm getting "Transaction failed(incorrect address?)" when trying to withdraw coins Shocked
Nothing wrong with the adress, it has always worked before. Shocked

I was not credited for all the shares that I submitted during the time the pool was down either. Nick will you fix this?

I'm getting the transaction message as well, which means the hot wallet is empty.

I'm going to have to move to another pool, this one is constantly fucked up.

Same here, incorrect address when attempting to withdraw funds.  Hopefully it will be sorted soon, the site seems to be showing correct stats again so that's progress!

Same problem here. For an unknown span of time, speed and new shares didn't show up in the interface untill a few hours ago, resulting in a couple of LTC's which were not accounted for while mining. Problem right now: cannot withdraw: Transaction failed(incorrect address?) I double checked, the LTC address is right.
Nicksasa, if you read this and wanna fix it, my username is josan.

I too got no credit for mining for a long time yesterday.  Would love to know where all those hashes went and we still haven't heard from "management".  Sad

Yeah,..I have not been credited with any of my work that were submitted while the web interface was down.

I do not want to be paranoid, but he was in the hospital recently and I hope he did not use this as an opportunity to get some funds to pay his bills while telling us that nothing was working properly Sad

I can't believe after all this drama people are still surprised that they get ripped off here.

STOP MINING ON NOTROLL FFS.

Please make a post in my Reputation Thread if we've had a successful trade.

I'm done mining here until Nickasa comes forward to share something with us.  I wasn't around for the overpayment fiasco - so I ignored all of that.  But this I can not ignore if he isn't going to at least come out and tell us what happened - its been way to much time.

What amuses me is how many people are currently still mining there even after all of this.

Nickasa!?!?! Please come help/explain!?!?!
