How is that any better? What do you believe you have gotten better at? It's the same arrhythmic and atonal shit you've been posting for the last month or so. Out of curiosity, what kind of guitar and amp are you using? Some $200 Ibanez and a 15w Peavy. Need to upgrade to a strat. The first string broke so I'll have to pick one up tomorrow.

Honest advice from a guitarist: Cheap Ibanez guitars can be fine if they are properly set-up. This means assuring that the neck is straight with just the slightest relief and that the intonation is spot-on. Sometimes the nut needs replacement, too, so that notes and chords on first three frets stay in tune. $50 on a proper set-up from an established luthier can make a cheap ibanez better than a poorly set-up American Strat. I have a mexi-made strat that is set-up like a dream for sale for $250.

I disagree. The amp is definitely part of the problem - dank's work would sound much better if it wasn't turned on.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

He thinks that the second string from the top is a B string. It depends on how you look at it. I guess the b string is second from the ground, so you could say it is second from the bottom. But when I am holding a guitar and looking down at the strings, the b string seems to be second from the top (since the view is inverted). Also, the b string is the second highest sound; it makes sense to refer to the highest note as the top string, that way the top always refers to the same string no matter which way you point the guitar.

Out of curiosity, what kind of guitar and amp are you using? He thinks that the second string from the top is a B string. I think he's got bigger problems than the type of guitar and amp he's using. If he's flipping his guitar trying to emulate Hendrix, then he should at least look up Hendrix's stringing set-up (he used a non-standard G string and tuned high E down to E flat but he strung in conventional bass at the top order (which gives you a different sound on a flipped guitar for reasons that aren't worth explaining to dank). That's what my tuner says, B string. I'm not reversing my guitar.

Hey Dank, I'm just wondering what your next 'thing' is gonna be. You've already forgotten the hookah bar, your bank has like 2 depositors, and you're clearly going nowhere with your attempts at music. So what's your new plan to strike it rich? Will you even give me a hint?

I'm focusing on playing guitar and having this music festival. I found someone to setup the audio equipment, possibly has some contacts to get equipment from.

I'm looking for people interested in helping with the music festival. What we're looking for: ✓ 1000 Acres land ✓ Stage equipment ✓ Audio equipment ✓ Audio technician ✓ Lighting equipment ✓ Lighting technician ✓ Contractor (build bathrooms) ✓ Electrician ✓ Fireworks + pyro Optionally, we will also set up some carnival type rides if we could get a volunteer for them. Help be a part of history by taking the end of the year off of work and working together, as one, to form the biggest music festival ever.

I see you found a audio technician who is willing to volunteer his time for free.
Have you decided where on the planet you are going to have this festival? People will need to know that unless airlines start offering free international flights to anyone who is volunteering at the festival. Have you looked into asking them if they would be willing to offer that?

That's what the 1000 acres is for. Not sure where that'll be, but any suitable place in the United States will do.
Dates are not official but we're aiming for December 19th-21st at least, we might make it longer or earlier.
We'll have some bond fires going to keep the crowd warm, feel free to bring any scrap wood or possessions that you want to get rid of.

Well, I think you should nail down the location before you even think of asking for volunteers. And you should probably nail down the dates as well, so people know how much time to plan to volunteer for.

Eh, might as well start looking now. I'm thinking any volunteers would be willing to travel for this.

Maybe, but having to pay their own way might turn a small percentage of them off. You really should look at getting a national airline as a sponsor.

I'm going to accept donations at the festival, we can distribute them among volunteers, if they'd like. But really, it's just money.
