LOL, better than being Paycoined. Did you add the conf file?

listen=1
daemon=1
rpcuser=*yourusername*
rpcpassword=*yourpassword*
rpcport=9456
port=9455
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=107.170.179.27
addnode=162.243.155.75
addnode=128.199.231.68
addnode=168.235.149.145
addnode=46.233.40.104
addnode=pay.suprnova.cc

Hey, thanks a lot... Even, I ain't knowing that thing... Though, my wallet was syncing and staking fine, but yesterday, it stopped syncing, so this thing helped and it's now working... Thanks again... Smiley

Does it matter that im running windows not linux?? dont know what to do with conf file i just downloaded an application file..do i have to unzip and
change a config file. Sorry if its newb and dumb but I'm brand new over here

No probs at all... Thank God you use Windows as I am also running the same and am much familiar with it...
Anyways, the answer to your question is,
1. It's an application itself, so just double-click it and it will open up the wallet.
2. Now, about the conf file... You need to go to C:\Users\"USER"\AppData\Roaming\PayCon
   (Note: AppData is a hidden folder, so you need to check "Show hidden files and folders")
Then, right-click there and create a new .txt file... After that, open it in Notepad, then copy paste the above mentioned details in it, and just change Username and password to whatever you would like, then save it... Then, just change the extension from .txt to .conf, also name the file "Paycon.conf"...
3. After that, just open the wallet again and you are good to go...
I hope it helps... Smiley

just got a chance to try it out and it worked!! thanks.  so now I let my coins sit in there and they gain interest.
sorry to be totally lost but whats the difference from leaving it on the exchange as opposed to in the wallet (besides exchange getting "hacked")

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Putting your coins in exchange ain't a problem, but I feel that after these recent hacks that took place, I think no one should have their coins in exchanges unless they are meant to be traded in there... Anyways, putting your coins in exchanges also allows a few exchanges to stake on your coins and get rewards instead of you doing that, so it's better you put them in your wallet, stake 'em and get rewarded... Nice, glad you got it working Grin Much better having them in your wallet, because now you can reap the rewards of Proof of Stake. I don't know of any exchanges that give the rewards to the coin holders. Some exchanges keep the rewards for themselves  Angry. Other exchanges,such as Poloniex, modify their wallets, so they don't stake at all. Smiley

You may already know this, but just in case.
The folder that you placed the conf file in, also contains a file that is called "wallet.dat".  You should make a backup copy of this file, and save it elsewhere. I usually have at least 2 copies of every wallet.dat of each coin that I own, on usb disks and/or external hard drives. If your hard drive crashes, or gets accidentally wiped, you can restore your wallet with that file.

Nice, there is a bit more to it than just leaving your Coins in your wallet to gain interest because you also want to gain the most interest possible with your Coins. PayCon Stakes differently than other POS Coins, all Blocks you Stake will reward you 30 Coins regardless of it's size so you will want to split your Coins into Blocks of 200-1000 each so that you Stake as often as you can with the smallest amount of Blocks. If you have your Blocks less than 200 each they may end up taking 5-6 days to Stake when you  could have Staked after 2-3 days with Blocks of 300.

Best way is to Start with blocks of 500 coins each and they will likely Stake after 2-3 days depending on difficulty. The minimum age is 2 days and maximum age is 14 days, if your Blocks were very small, they might end up hitting the limit of 14 days and not Staking. There is also a combine threshold of 500 Coins and 5 days which means that if you have multiple blocks under 500 in the same address but it takes longer than 5 days for it to Stake, multiple Blocks will combine in a single Stake until over 500, plus the Stake reward.

Nicely explained, but newbe`s need to understand the power of "coin control" also. Maybe make small youtube video.

I have a idea, possible to show coin age in coin control?

If you need help, i probably know someone who you could ask.

Speaking of weed tokens, what you think about all those "drug" coins?

I nothing much really.

I, for myself, still think when it comes to drug business paying per cash at your trusted dealer still best???

Or am i getting old, could be too.

But encrypt wallet first with a strong pawssord, of course

Nah, the drug tokens are just a fad, why would anyone want to buy CryptoMeth? It sounds like you are giving money to Meth labs

Lots of coins run fast and die hard as well, lets see what we can do with the power of CON.

I'd like to get some newer forums going for PayCon, there is more I would want to work on and share but not so much in the open.

Anyone here decent at simple machines forums?

Don't worry, I am in talks with a friend who is going to open a multi-coin faucet, but haven't yet done so as he is so busy that sometimes he even don't reply to my questions... Let's hope he replies soon, as now even I am in a hurry to spread the word by doing that... Smiley
