600sat price Grin don't lie to yourselves, it goes to 1 sat about 4-5 days, if nothing happens Smiley
and nothing can happen, because the devs are not ready to do something new now.

What did you have in mind?  Coin works great, nothing broken, staking works AWESOME

All of you FUDding about price do not understand the concept of high POS rate coins like 10K.  Instead of hoping the price goes up, you STAKE and make the size of your wallet go up instead.  The price can stay the same - or it can even go down, it doesn't matter.  As long as your wallet is growing faster than the price is dropping (which it is, by the way, if you are staking right now) you still make money.

Just take a look at Barney, and this will all make much more sense.

I've taken a look at Barney, and at my own wallet... something seems off.  Price seems to be dropping way more that what is being made by staking.  My test purchase was for 327.5 coins on the 18th. Total BTC/10k value of .027.

Exactly one week later, wallet has 1643 coins. At the current price, BTC/10k value is .011.  Seems to be that the price has fallen ALOT faster than staking can make up for.  Don't get me wrong, I'm in it to win it. I'll keep on buying and staking. For the long haul, this is definitely true but for newbies getting into POS this can definitely be a turn off.  Especailly for those who bought when I did or before and are getting jumpy.

indeed you need to start off with an amount that can compete with the network weight to be more efficient. when I started on the 5th I had solid weight with 150 coins and would find a pos block a bunch of times in a day (which would allow for the "splitters" and compounding to work faster) by the 18th how many pos blocks where you finding in a day with  327 coins?
and yes the market seems to be turning bit more antsi/temperamental but this is crypto lol and who knows what the future holds, but I'll be glad I'm holding 10k Wink

I have a problem with my wallet. My laptop's battery died and shut down unexpectedly. After rebooting the system I noticed that the date and time was reset to several years ago. It is normal that the wallet does not work when the date is not correct so I corrected the date and time but it is not syncing. The check mark in right down corner of the wallet has been disappeared. However it has several active connections and stakes but the balance is not updated. How can I force it to sync again?

You can redownload the blockchain from the beginning if needed

I deleted all files in Roaming folder (except the wallet file) but the problem is the software never tries to sync.

Here is the thing. When I change the date back to like February 1st, the check mark in right down corner appears and the program warns for wrong date and time and says it will not work properly. When I update the date to today, the check mark disappears but my recent transactions do not appear and the wallet dos not sync.

No. It is there. My wallet has 8 active connections now. But it can not sync with block chain. For this problem I have no access to 99% of coins. But I can see them in block explorer. I was staking them.

Well. I just deleted blkindex.dat and ran the wallet again and seems it is syncing and downloading the blocks.

I've never added nodes to 10K and have 26 active connections.

Maybe it's your firewall or port.

Yes. I don't know why when I deleted all files except the wallet file, it didn't work but when after restoring the files and deleting just blkindex.dat, it worked.

Hey, thanks a lot... As this happened to me too, and I did what you did...
And now, it's working fine again...
The Roaming folder deletion as you were saying may not have worked for you, but this happened to me back one time, and it worked for me, but this time, my wallet was not syncing again and so, I watched your steps, deleted only blkindex.dat, and now everything's just fine... Smiley
Just a bit unhappy as due to this, I have my 1 hour wasted of no-staking... Wink

YW. 1 hour wasted of no-staking is much better than never staking.

For anyone who has or is using Cloud Staking on GorillaStake, please head over to that specific thread and post a review, whether it's good or bad. I know there's not much to review, but if people see other customers saying that it works and is legit, it may help us out. As a consumer, I always check for POSITIVE TRUST and user reviews before purchasing or trusting a service

Thanks guys

Thanks, stick around on it. We've been known to do random giveaways to all the miners on the MMXIV pool, I'm sure the same will happen here  Wink
