barterdex and blocknet are going to be the big news of this year i expect

cbx hopefully can get on both and deserves to be on both ... these fairly distributed projects are going to be the only ones left standing once regulations start sparking up all over the place.

icos are 99% scams

What steps are necessary to get listed on these 2 exchanges?

Not sure if any have heard, however there is a new service launching in the next month to compete directly with Coinbase (crypto for fiat exchange). This service, Coinbook.com, is US based, is fully funded and includes a team of lawyers, accountants, developers and auditors.

As many know, US regulations are extremely challenging to navigate but the companies that do so provide a level of insurance, credibility, validity and stability that large investors demand. This US regularoty approval gives services such as Coinbase and Coinbook promise of beign wildly successful as well as the coins that obtain listing on their respective platforms.

Now I mention Coinbook.com (https://coinbook.com/) because we have established communication, they are fans of and will list Bullion (CBX). However there is a caveat. Due to US regulations, they cannot do so if we implement anon or coin mixing features... We could still implement masternodes with instant transactions and self-governance, however, coin mixing and anon functions would have to be omited.

I personally feel Bullion does not need to be an anonymous coin. Our niche is wealth storage, we are the Digital Precious Metal. There are other coins designed to serve the anon purpose, do we NEED this feature? Yes it is a nice to have, however, is it worth missing out on an opportunity such as this?

This is a decision we would like the community's input on. Please see the new poll at the top of the page and lets hear your vote. Feel free to reply with comments to this thread as well.

Thank you in advance.

I agree with elambert.

CBX does not need to be anon coin, there are niche coin for niche markets

This is a good opportunity. Seize the moment.

If we want Bullion to be taken seriously by real investors we should not go down the anonymity route. There are plenty of coins out there that can fulfill this niche, CBX should not be one of them.

I say focus on doing one thing and one thing well, a store of wealth, a port in the next storm, don't dilute the coins USP by adding somewhat faddy functions that will likely make it far less attractive to future investors when crypto regulation becomes mainstream Smiley

I voted for coinbook, anyway there will always be external services for those who want to anonymize their transactions as darkwallet for bitcoin.

The most profitable thing for bullion would be to be listed in the first wave and I hope that removing anonymity from the code won't cause this first wave to fail.
Either way, it's very good news.

Voted to drop Anon and get listed.

Anonymity is not needed. CBX should keep its clean cut image, focus on attracting the right type of investors.

This is great news. Will CBX be traded as a USD/CBX pair as well as BTC?

USD/CBX would be the trade pair that I am certain of. I will have to inquire about the CBX/BTC pair, however the USD one is the one that will be biggest benefit here in my opinion.

I spent an hour yesterday, and the day before, on their chatbox trying to get their attention, and followed up here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1669443.new#new.

Lafu says he will push the issue to support, and the daemon should be back up shortly.

Their services are overwhelmed.
