Bitcoin is perfect for porn shenanigans, i dont want to give my real name and bank address to porn producers lol.
I think the porn industry is missing out big time by not accepting bitcoin. Most people don't want to give their personal details to such companies nor do they want their wives to see what they've been buying on their credit card. Plus, they can save a lot of money avoiding credit card fees. Bitcoin isn't truly anonymous but rather pseudonymous
It's anonymous because the porn sites won't know who the hell you are if you don't want to tell them. Very good points. Yes, porn industry can be very good niche and business opportunity for bitcoin. At least, anonymity is the strongest point in bitcoin, and it's safe to use bitcoin as payment tool. Of course, there is also a lot SCAM in porn industry and also it's very fine line between the legality and illegality there. We have to be aware about this and not to jeopardize bitcoin and brought it under government investigation. |

Why not, I don't understand at this time, why a business WOULDN'T at least accept payment in BTC, even if they are simply auto converting to fiat.

Once the internet blew up and Porn websites and technology along with it, I have never once paid or provided a credit card for Porn. Not with fiat, not with credit cards, and certainly not with Bitcoin. I do remember back in the day buying a ton of VHS tapes from those adult novelty stores, but that's a whole other discussion.  |

I think porn and gambling would be fantastic niches for Bitcoin payment processing to totally dominate .. not all porn sites are going to like btc though, because many sites use 'cross sells' and rebilling to scam customers with extra credit card charges, something they can't do with bitcoin

I will be honest i have never paid for porn on credit card, seems super risky to me to watch a little bit of something i can get for free but i would probably spend a few satoshi as it is as anonymous as i would need plus no worry of having you're bank emptied, missus seeing the statement etc  |
