I created an account yesterday. Won on a freeroll, lost a small amount on a cash game, went to bed and when I woke up my balance was 3x higher. Anyone know why?

thats some run good there. reminds me of the time Annette Obrestad had one of her online accounts hacked. The person jumped on some high stakes tables and before the support got here account back, the hacker had won some 20k or something like that. was crazy and she got to keep the winnings

It would not normally make your balance 3x higher, but rakeback, and table starter rakeback were paid yesterday. Check Cashier, Transactions.

It doesn't show any transactions. Would a transfer from another player show up in transactions in the off chance somebody sent me a tip? Is there a page that shows winnings? EDIT: it was a tip from another player. It just showed up in cashier. What a nice guy

It is absolutely true that we were running promotions that were not working (acquiring new players) and that were not sustainable in our current financial situation. However, the company is 100 percent solvent and our number one priority is to protect customer funds.
Not one mBTC of customer money is ever used for operations, marketing, or any other purpose. All customer deposits/winnings are segregated and totally secure.
The sad truth is that we inherited a piece of software that hadn't been properly vetted by the prior management before the unfortunate events early last year. We have been way too slow to admit that. We've made tremendous progress in correcting the uncountable bugs and glitches that existed from Day One. Much more needs to be done, and we are doing it. We can't give a timeline, because we dont know how long it will take.
Despite that, we believe we have a more than functional, working product, that can compete with any site that is now operating. That, coupled with our legitimate rake cuts should eventually increase traffic. Once that happens, we plan on ramping up rewards again. So Krill will remain a viable, lifetime reward. Last month’s cancelled 1,000 Chip 20k Krill Freeroll has been relisted on Saturday July 16th.
Our silence has ended.

Would you submit to an audit by a trusted member of the community to prove that what you are saying is true? Anyway, what you are saying is true (except the marketing part...you don't seem to do any marketing). Your site CAN compete with any site currently operating (sans Stars). If you run and market it correctly. Literally nobody wants the site to do poorly. Everybody is rooting for you. Unfortunately, your track record is poor so you have that to overcome. Please please please hire a poker room manager and a marketing manager who can get people onto the site and stay on the site. Your site has a ton of potential but you are dropping the ball in a big bad way.

However, if there was even a scintilla of evidence that we were not solvent, or not paying withdrawals in a highly timely manner, we would consider an audit. We have excellent poker room and marketing staffs, we just didn't let them do their jobs properly until now. That is all part of the changes that started with the rake reduction. We botched the Krill Roll, now we're making that right. It all starts now.

I'm glad to hear from management! It seems traffic has picked up this week. I've seen some new players playing some decent size stakes. I really hope if it continues to pick up you make the krill leaderboard prizes what they were a few weeks ago. 500 chips for 1st, 300 for 2nd, 200 for 3rd etc. I think it created a lot of action and started a bunch of new games. Especially as the weekend approached and people were fighting for position. The incentive isn't quite the same with the new payouts but I still love SWC.

In regards to promos may I suggest something that makes players login and/or play everyday or at least frequently. Low rake is good but in and of itself does not cause people to login and play. Internet poker has been around for almost 20 years which is how long I have been playing it. I have seen what works and what doesn't. There was a site that you could play virtually rake free and it went nowhere. Yes times change and every situation is unique. Wishing you success.

Sick attempt at blame shifting. So you're saying your software hadn't been properly vetted by the prior management. Two problems with this. 1) The SwC 2.0 software wasn't actually being used by the prior management except in beta trials; the main site ran on Mavens 2) The implication of your attempt to shift blame suggests that you started SwC 2.0 and ran the software for the public without actually vetting it yourself. You took an unreleased piece of software that hadn't been properly tested and you released it without vetting it yourself! Yup, that seems responsible. Second, your hand history system is broken. One of the most fundamental and rudimentary function, available at every poker site has, does not work at SwC 2.0 It really takes you guys more than a year to get around to this? That shows a lot of commitment. Last, krill is not obviously not a "viable, lifetime" reward. That's pretty clear from the events that unfolded in the past couple of weeks. Lol, at the 20krill reward---what about the 75krill, the 150krill that you cut and have no immediate plans to reinstate?? Can you guys really not come up with the $1400-$1500 a month to run those anymore? Are you really asking us to trust a site that can't afford to spend $1400-$1500 a month??? And you want us to trust it without any independent audit of course. LOL at your response to the earlier suggestion of having an independent audit. Your response basically amounted to "well, we haven't stolen yet, so we're gonna refuse an audit. If we do steal in the future, then we will comply with audit requests." Hahaha. The entire point of an audit is to inform us before-the-fact that the site will remain solvent in the future; there's no use in auditing a site once they're already unable to process withdrawals.

Get over it, Micon royally fucked up when he promoted Seals from Nevada. Someone pointed out seals 1.0 would still be around if he had done it from ANY OTHER STATE THAN NEVADA. But of course Micon is a gambling addict and had to be in the gambling Mecca.
As far as the krillrolls and the shitty 2.0 software, get over it, life isn't a fairy tale, they can't afford to bleed money.
Also, the deflationary nature of bitcoin makes it hard for them to run a 1 BTC freeroll every month or so. I don't really blame them for reducing the reward amount from time to time.
Look at the cash games running and how low the rake is. I'm guessing it barely covers those 20K Krillrolls.
Life sucks, then you die. Secular anti-humanism for the win.

That will help. If you can keep a reasonable fraction of the new players who actually deposit, you will grow. If you can create periodic attention-getting promotions, many of your players will post about them in various poker forums. How about some StarsSucks™ incentive for PLO players, for example? Consider creating one rotating, rake-free table. Sometimes high stakes, sometimes low stakes. We will make it famous. We want you to be successful.

I understand you want to keep playing for free and take money off a site you no longer contribute to, but how do you expect them to keep running promos for players who aren't supporting the site? they don't need to an audit because they have a proven track record of paying out very promptly and there's no indication of ill will. "Can you guys really not come up with the $1400-$1500 a month to run those anymore?"do you understand the concept of a promo? it obviously hasn't been working to retain old players and bring in new ones, so they are working on a new system to get rid of freeloaders like you who are disgruntled with the site. I used to like you razzle, but you're a real cunt lately, get fucked.

Lol at me being a freeloader. Please tell me more about how I take free money off a site that I haven't contributed to. Have I not earned every single krill that I have? It's easy for you to tell me to get fucked when you didn't get as much taken from you as I did. I have played and contributed way more to the site than you have; it's hilarious that someone who begged for stakes and used sealsdeals.info as his lifeblood is calling me a freeloader.

Why would you trust a future promo when they have shown that they are willing to renege on their promised rewards/promos?
