One more thing would be the increase in JP depends (according to me) as per the amount wagered, as I see the JP increases by big leaps if a HR is rolling(either winning or losing).

As I remember, after bank3 hit the jackpot, the jackpot started again from more than 1btc. So, I assume that the jackpot started from 1.4xxbtc - 0.28xxbtc = 1.12xxbtc instead of 1btc as the minimum jackpot amount.
I could be wrong on this, so lets wait dadice clarify about it.

Just clarified it with dadice and they have said that what you said indeed true.So yup, if won JP amount< total JP accumulated, the jackpot starts with 1BTC and the leftover amounts.

Actually you are right on this. If the jackpot win goes lower than 1 btc it will start from 1 btc again. If it stays higher after the share was paid it will stay at the current level. For example: Jackpot is 2 btc and 20% are won, then the next jackpot will start at 1.6 btc.
