You think it's "due"? Did the players make good progress towards it or something?

It's kind of understandable when gamblers think they are "due" for a win because they have lost a lot of times, but you don't often see people who own sites falling victim of such fallacies.

We just felt it is time to go, since previous '99.99 jackpots' were won within 1 to 3 days

especially if a lot of your players might just be betting 1 satoshi on autobet trying to hit the jackpot, not actually trying to gamble.

Wouldn't have people jumped on this site and just auto bet forever at 1 satoshi to win?  I am very confused here.

thats what a lot of people do, the 1 satoshi bet gives you a chance to win 20% of the current jackpot if you meet the conditions. the % of the jackpot won increases with the amount wagered. 100 satoshi = 40%, etc, i dont remember the values off the top of my head.

I experienced it, I could roll 99.99 many times but I could not roll 0.00 as many as I rolled 99.99 . In fact both number has the same chance, but seems than to roll 0.00 is a little bit harder than 99.99

Maybe it's just coincidence

when it comes to something like gambling, you should never pass it off as mere coincidence, question everything. who knows, there might be some unknown flaw in the provably fair system that makes this "coincidence" happen.

That's true, even when playing on other sites. I often see roll 99.99 than 0.00

when it comes to something like gambling, you should never pass it off as mere coincidence, question everything. who knows, there might be some unknown flaw in the provably fair system that makes this "coincidence" happen.

Basically, It has to do with the RNG algorithm. At dadice, you are more likely to roll a 99.99 because the RNG defaults to 99.99 if it cannot get another roll number from the hash. At JD, You're more likely to roll any number below 0.4096 than any other number, because the RNG ends up with a smaller group of hex digits if it runs through the hash. It's a rare occurrence, but when you have 500 millions rolls, it will (probably) have a visible effect on the number of times 99.99 and 0 are rolled (I didn't math, if someone else cares to do the math and prove me wrong, feel free, I won't argue)

The probability of btoh is 0.01% and after analysing (before announcement of jackpot) each archive database, we found that probability of hitting both is in average of 0.01% exactly as it should be... The reason why 99.99 jackpot normally goes sooner is because default selection site is to Roll Over to win, and jackpot requires the bet with 99.99 or 0 to be a winning bet. So when jackpot is to hit 0.00, only the number of people who intend to hunt jackpot switch to roll under mode.

Yes you are right, we predict our date on the average rolls per day for a 7 day period before announcing the contest. Today around 10 million rolls are left to hit the 500 million, so I am confident that will happen sometimes tomorrow.

EDIT: We have currently around 7 million rolls per day, more than 7 hours left for today alone, so it should go tomorrow.

Dadice_Dev, you might check the bandwith usage of dadice. Even when switching to lite, so that nothing happens on the screen, i have a constant bandwith drain. I wanted to have it open to see when its near a half million bets and occassionally bet so i can see the numbers. But i had to close the tab because dadice is constantly drawing away my bandwith and i need to watch over it since i run it on my phones internet.

I have a bad connection , but when I use the lite version on Firefox all go cool , Chrome still laggy here even if I use the lite mode
