they think the same for every other money system, even fiat, it's eradicate in the human nature, it'0s not faucets fault, at all, they help newbie actually

i see them as a low reward form of mining, with almost zero electrcity, it can be in the future a good way to spread bitcoin, when even a few satoshi will have a huge value

agreed! i think that is one of the purpose of faucets its like an advertisement letting people know what btc is and you can earn money with it.
faucets have a big help advertising bitcoin all this years.

yeah i still use faucets. i got my first mbtc through faucets which gave me motivation
to do it more seriously which led to earn my first btc. faucets has been a big help to btc.

Hmmmm I dont think so because most of newbies faucet is their first and only way to earn bitcoin. I think faucet still has a contribution in making bitcoin popular. Who else here didin't use faucet since the first time they discovered bitcoin.

This thought is so common, but it's completely naive. Bitcoin is money. Of course you can earn money with it. Guess how else you can earn money (and in the SAME WAYS)? Money. Fiat. Cash. People need to quit this idea that Bitcoin magically allows you to make a living where you otherwise couldn't. If you can make money with Bitcoin, you can make it by doing the same things for cash. Bitcoin isn't a get-rich scheme. It's a medium of transfer. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yes if you believe in bitcoin it would worth some millions in future, then collecting small amount of Satoshi from faucets as time pass also a good idea. I had quit faucet earning after several months of hard working I could not reach even 100 mBTC. Out of frustration I quit faucet earning. Faucets are good only on leisure time.

Faucets are not meant for earning big amounts of bitcoins.
They are here only for the new bitcoiners to understand how the bitcoin ecosystem works.
If you want to see some bitcoins in your wallet then you can use faucets to get as early as possible to see some bitcoin in your wallet. Faucet best suits for newbies.

Faucets are a great way to get people into bitcoin. They learn a lot, even they get dust from faucets.

I know many people who started with 0 btc, then went to the faucets first, and then bought BTC.

I agree with all this abuse faucet owners do to 3rd world country people with having them to click on ads, etc, but some of them make more money with faucets per day, than they could make with a job in their country.

This is just my personal opinion although, I could be wrong.

Faucets are great if you need a little BTC to buy new cheap altcoins you believe will substantially increase in value later, or altcoins that mint. It's probably not worth it just for the Bitcoin, but to trade into alcoins, if you hit up the right faucets (the higher paying ones), you can buy quite a few of certain types of altcoins with the earnings.
