The rampage on btc-tc is calming down and prices are stabilizing a bit. Any idea if on tomorrow dividends there will be any sales too?
It's quite likely.

Hard to say. The blade sales page has attracted a lot of traffic (almost 12,000 page views). Someone on that thread said it took 3 days to get a response from AM, so to me it sounds like Shenzhen are run off their feet at the moment. I think some early shipments of USB sticks have left as well. It might depend on when AM consider the goods 'delivered' whether they deem it appropriate to retain the revenues. At some point I expect friedcat will want to retain some earnings for future investment, but we won't know it's happened until he says so. I'm thinking hardware sales are going to be high for a little while, but we won't get a clearer picture for another 24 hours. I'm not sure how much of the hoopla on btct is due to solo mining, hardware sales, people just wanting something to speculate on, or all three!

I think it has cooled down a bit because of the time of the day, too. Typically, now is slow trading for a few hours. Of course, there's 350 shares at bitfunder for 2.47, so that tends to cool things off a bit, too.

Quick question: how is AM position regarding eventual Chinese tax law and financial regulations?
I mean, are they assuming "it's BTC, they won't care", or they have some kind of lawyer dealing with that, or we don't know?

Why is everything AM produces and announces so much better than expected? Those things look awesome. I'm surprised.

I guess their position is following the rules. I mean, are they assuming "it's BTC, they won't care", or they have some kind of lawyer dealing with that, or we don't know?
We don't know would be the correct answer, since there is nothing about that in this thread. If you hold shares you should take the time and read this thread. Perhaps the board members could find out more, but i am really not interested in chinese tax procedures nor do i think any AM-employee should waste time on explaining it here.

I don't care for the exact explaination either, I just wanted to know if "Chinese authorities come knocking at their doors" is a likely event or not. I'd suppose they are ok, since they have been doing everything flawlessly. Just wondering.

If you want 300 of them, they are BTC1.99 each including delivery. If that's too many, there are a number of group buys for around BTC2.1 to BTC2.3 each in the Custom Hardware subforum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=76.0

Soon more than 10,000 shiny little stones will be distributed international and quietly erupt blocks. 3 T hash in sexy usb drives. Awesome. It's crazy to say that all of that addition is less than 5% of the network! Think of it this way though, 5% of the network, cost at retail four million bucks. That's shallow cash for a government.
