Someone, or even a few just lost their nerves on Havelock.
I know it's no sugary pie-land, but I still feel a lot better than the days and weeks before friedcat's latest announcement. How about you guys?

Announcement of what ? He just re-stated what he said before and told us there will be some delays but everything is on track. And its week later and we still have no confirmed tape out

Everyone hoping to issue or re-issue dividends on a decentralized ex needs to consider NXT

why do people act like NXT doesn't exist? Up until recently I hadn't heard of it..I did a lot of research and found the team, community, development and technology to be what you'd want in a 2.0 protocol/currency..look just spend 3 hours do some research then objectively make a decision to keep ignoring the tech (i highly doubt this) or try to use it to do something useful..
 these are a few things I found e.g 1000+ transactions per second…how can you ignore this?Huh?  :

-Transparent mining / forging: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=364218.0

-1000 transaction per second and more rivaling the likes of visa mastercard processing speed/volumes mad possible by Transparent mining / forging

-Dicentralized, dns, asset exchange, reputation system, multi sig, two phase payments and more on main thread:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345619.0

-running nodes: http://www.peerexplorer.com

to make it ever more appealing a more user friendly gui is launching by the end of the month and starting asset exchange testing by FEB 9TH  :   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=412138.msg4936418#msg4936418

Just look into NXT then use your objective mind to decide if the project is for you..For those that have been deterred by FUD this might serve as a last push to put on your reasoning hats..PSA OVER

He did announce specs of the new chips that were significantly better than previously announced, that manufacturing and deployment should be on time in March, and tapeout mid-February. It is only Feb 5th. I wouldn't even get nervous about lack of tapeout until the 20th at the earliest, and even then, FC has been notoriously slow to communicate.

Anyone selling now because of low dividends is a fool. Everyone who knows anything about this company has been expecting dividends to dwindle to basically nothing until the new hardware arrives. No surprises there. When dividends are being paid on 4 blocks found, you know random luck can make a huge difference up and down as well.

If you want to sell because you buy into the FUD being spread and are just scared FC won't deliver, by all means, sell. I am sure there are lots of believers who would love to buy cheaper shares.

They might as well round the divs down to zero, it's pretty close. Just about 1/100th of the div levels when the shares were 5BTC......

numbers are numbers and they are low, when future plans are REAL and hashing, it is a different story.

This week divs REALLY sucked. Which makes the gamble on the future 3 times more risky!

p.s.: the near future that is.

It was more than the div 2 weeks ago, if you were expecting more you were raising your expectations for no apparent reason.

Weird, I haven't received my dividends

In my Bitcoin-Qt wallet, it is not displayed, but in MultiBit, I can see it (as well as on blockchain.info), but 0 confirmations.
Do you miss it completely or just in a specific wallet?

Just looked at the blockchain, seems as if all divs for 2/5 have now been confirmed at least once.  If you still do not have your div, well then there is some other issue then low fees and chained transactions.

there is no direct conversion path from AM100 to AM1.  You may sell your AM100 and use the proceeds to buy AM1.

What do you guys think of KnCMiner opening their own mining facility over the next few months: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1wzjtb/kncminer_is_going_to_open_its_own_mining_facility/

I think KNC and Asicminer will be the two biggest bitcoin-market hardware players in 2014.

I can't wait for the new chips, I'm going to get back into mining in a big way.  Smiley    My cube served me well.

I don't think anyone should be surprised to see extremely low (or no) divs until Gen3 rolls out.

The thing I worry about most is if FC is still 100% committed to AM or if he has developed a competing side-business that is unencumbered by external shareholders.

I know FC denied involvement. But the competitor similarities in hardware (Bitmain) and in mining behavior (Discus Fish) remain striking. So I feel we've only been told part of the story.

I've been thinking about this too, but what keeps from panicking too much is the amount of AsicMiner shares owned by Bitfountain. I think that screwing us keyboard shareholders would be one thing, but screwing the Bitfountain ones would be much more messier.

Who is Bitfountain, actually?  Huh

And, if you worry that Discus Fish is FC's side business, why not worry that Discus Fish might actually be Bitfountain's side business?
