Due to ASICMINER failure to address and respond to common shareholders dividends and lack of information issues, a lot here are expecting the price to fall down to IPO price per share.
Bitcoin risen multitudes and multitudes in value since then so even if you overestimate, The IPO price that the shares are expected to fall to is around 0.02374BTC ($15).
That is until the actual dispersement of dividends of gen 4. That is a minimum of 3-4 months along the road............
(I am just gonna leave this here...)
let me guess, you put an order at around 0,023 or scooped it up below 0,15.. well done, cant believe people actually sold into those bids. Nope. I am exiting ASICMINER for now. I just feel like I am obligated to share my opinion here. i'd have thought you'd have more than couple hundred shares on havelock to fully exit AM. Too slow to sell direct through havelock, Those were done otherways. And yeah my shares do not go up to 1k, havelock got about 500 of them until recently. |
Will take me a while to climb up again, But where is a will, there is a way...

It's funny how lophie (who had a large amount of shares iirc) only comes to post negative things in this thread after a massive dump. Anyone who expects the price to fall to $15/share is an idiot considering as of the last financial update (2 months ago) each share had ~$25 in assets. and btw everyone here knows I don't spread FUD to gain profits. I spread real justified fears for the chaos, because it breeds order. And now ASICMINER is NOT in order! Yes because you totally didn't try to manipulate the market a week ago.. |

You also forgot that this $25 in assets would be mostly held for gen 4. And it really doesnt mean anything to begin with if the company don't show any plans to give any of it as dividends anytime soon, Like it or not this is how securities in BTC goes. If you don't give the people any money they really cannot value your company properly. Because alot talk, few deliver and pay. for a long time indeed FC was the best at it... lately...... not so much..... The problem with that strategy is that you don't know when the horse is going to wake from its slumber. It may have already bolted by the time you get the chance to buy back in. I'd rather just hold what I've got than play the trading game. |

Friedcat has stated that 2/3 of Gen 3 revenue will be paid in dividends (1/3 to pay for 28nm Gen 4), plus all of the franchisee profits. Once chip prices drop to the point that it will be more profitable to mine, then they are spinning up self mining again.
Gen 3 missed power targets by 100% and communication from friedcat has been woefully inadequate but I wouldn't say that the sky is falling.
I expect an announcement / divs any time and am happy to pick up direct shares until that time. TBH I've been fairly silent as I was hoping the price would keep sliding (as I'm buying).
I'm starting to feel like Scrooge McDuck swiming in AM shares.
