The threats were against Yifu (Avalon), not FC. And that was just a stalling tactic by Yifu since he double-sold chips and people were pissed.
Some have seen FC on a very early Skype call, I think. No photos that I know of, but I might be wrong. There is a photo floating around of rockxie (RockMiner) that some people confused with FC but it wasn't really FC.
 This photo is purported to be Sam Cole, BFL_Josh, Friedcat and Yifu. Are you suggesting that Sonny Vleisides is Friedcat? No. You need to look up the work "purported". I haven't seen an image of Friedcat or Sonny. Are you suggesting that the purported photo of Friedcat is actually Sonny? well whoever is 'purpoting' that pic has friedcat in is either trolling or mentally deficient. fc is skinny, wears glasses and shock horror..asian, if you don't beleive phinneus' suggestions you can copy the name into google, just a few seconds later you will have some confirmation . the internet truly is a wonderful thing Who the hell is phinneus? I think they stated that all batches after their current one will meet expectations but something happened with their first batch. Though I haven't checked back there in a few days. |

True enough Rockminer is keeping their relationship with AM strengthening it and making their own mining farm so there will be a strong demand for the chips to build that farm. Also with AM full time on chips the miners will be immediately supplied when they are ready to them, still quiet on the franchising side though from other groups in terms of reports so its nice the status on one of them. |

Coincidentally the figure in the next line (R&D investment (including making PCB samples and purchasing equipment, etc.)) is exactly the same - $160,771.70?  |

It would make sense as well, given the close relationship between Rock & AM, that Rock got the chips at a minimum price, if they also were working with AM on the franchisee side... Don't read too much bad news into the $ value we got for chips, if those chips are in the hands of someone who could build a large mine where a portion went back to AM..
ie: The most likely franchisee's mining for AM are most likely also large AM chip purchasers.. they are best suited to the task..
I have a belief that AM is truly invincible..

If this were correct, then we are making $1.14 per chip. FC said per chip cost was <$0.20... ...per Gh/s. That was based on simulations and doesn't actually tell us how much the chips cost though. The actual cost of chips has not been made available to us. |
