I do control the wallet that contains this address but I'm having trouble producing signed messages for it because it's not accepting my wallet password, which I still remember, there was no malicious activity so my BTC is safe, maybe something's wrong with the wallet file. If you can't sign a message from that address, then it's useless to stake it. Just use another one or try to open your wallet in another client.
