Anyone know why signed messages with Electrum can't be verified with Brainwallet ?
Have repeated it several time but with no luck with brainwallet. I think the message is correct.

Brainwallet doesnt support native segwit wallet address, thats why it shows failed verification, but it works on nested segwit wallet the one that start in 3.

Verified on Bitcoin Core Allow me to be picky: I don't think "Periodic verification message" means much, as you can easily sign these messages years ahead. You can improve this by (for instance) adding a recent Bitcoin block hash within the signed message. That proves the signed message was created recently.

No, I guess you didn't understand the idea of the tread. You can stake anytime an address, the earlier you do it the better it is. You can also stake a few addresses in case you loose control of one of them spreading the risk is always a good approach.
Doesn't really matter the address you stake ( as long as it's not some shitcoin address) if you can sign a message from it then you are all good.
This again is not mandatory, it's only to improve your security.

If you're worried that the "edited" tag will negate the use of the post, the "edited" link shows the datetime when the last edit was made. Given it will only be a day or so out, it's not really a big deal. The problems are when the original post was like 5 years ago, and the edit was yesterday

However, if it is important for you to have an unedited post, then you should probably consider just creating a completely new post with the correct format.

As long as he has the date in the message, the address and the correct signature, no need to do any other changes at least for me. The provided data is valid and the format shouldn't be any issue. I already gave the correct one so whoever wants to verify it he has all the info. The OP no need to bother anymore with the case.

It says the request expires in about 24 hours. Does that have anything to do with it? I don't think the copy/paste was wrong.
