You can't "stake" bitcoin, like you can with some altcoins to try and earn coins if that is what you're thinking

What users are doing here is staking their bitcoin address for future reference... the idea being that by digitally signing a message using the private key for that address, they are proving "ownership" of the address.

In the future, should their account get hacked/locked or they want to do a trade/deal with someone who wants proof they're the "original" account owner and not an imposter on Telegram etc, they can prove their identity by signing a message using the same bitcoin address/private key.

However, it is better to keep your stake message in same format as the others here. Despite of it is not a big problem but I see some newbies simply take a very last staked message and use it as their format. It can bring some weird situation when they don't know where to put their address.

What wallet app did you use to create this signed message? I cannot get it to verify the address "bc1qh45r8qdp5zqf5cux77sq0k3gmjdljv4jdac0n0"... even using Electrum it says "Wrong Signature"
