Based on a price of $0.20 per token and 400,000,000 tokens being sold, raising $80 million for the public ICO seems like a huge amount. What price did the pre-sale participants get their tokens for?

Clients list is looking nice some promising projects already using this platform. If a project turned into scam after pass the procedure of this platform than what security they will provide to the token holders this part need explanation in details.

How would you know if there is a fraudulent website or phishing or when someone is trying to scam the people, how would you detect that? The concept seems to be an interesting one, the total supply is too many but i bet you can justify that numbers.

Hey that's good news.  These scammers' works really have to be put to an end.  MyShield definitely has a lot of scams to fight against, more work ahead but it will surely bring security to crypto users.

I don't believe it was the first anti-scam platform and getting to the reality there are many or some first to build this kind of platform but they are so known in public. If MyShield becomes successful it will be good for all of us of course it will be known for antiscams that will protect each investors and tokens holders for fraud and hackings.

I do think that though that this is the first anti-scam platform, because so far it's only antivirus or anti-spam that ive heard of.  Nothing of a similar project that would alert you once you've reached a fraud website.  But yeah, I agree that this will definitely be good for us all once it succeeds as we will really benefit from the protection that it brings to the cryptocurrency space.  So yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to the launch of this ICO project.

The MyShield platform will be based on the Ethereum Blockchain, therefore you can store your MyShield tokens in any wallet accepting ERC20.

I think people are losing interest in myshield.   it's been about 3 months and still no concrete date on tge.    typical myshield answer =  'soon'  and keep checking website.      questions on the private sale is never answered.     this is looking like it's being run by the two shields team to be honest

Interesting concept, this is what we really need in crypto space. There is too much scam here and there, and every average joe now can create his own blockchain and raise an ICO for said project.

The reports will be stored actually on the blockchain and exposed to the public.  Further, MyShield will publish on its website a list of reported scams, which were initially reported and for which the users have not reached a consensus yet.  So through this, community will have an initial idea on online items that may possibly be a scam and in order to incentivize MyShield users to investigate further and provide additional input about the suspected online items.

This is a very timely solution for the crypto world.  Can anybody report a scam to the platform?

Hi rosemariexoxo20! To report a scam, you will be required to open an account with MyShield and deposit a nominal fee using the MyShield tokens, also called MSLD.  But in the initial stage of your account opening, you will be credited with a certain amount of MSLD which will allow you to make an initial number of reports at no cost.  Once this is consumed, you will need to obtain MSLDs so you can continue submitting reports. The MSLD you deposited will be returned back to you should your report be proven true via a consensus with other users.  You will also be eligible for the bounty reward of successfully reporting a scam.  But if proven otherwise, the MSLD you deposited will be added to the general bounty fund.

The way our platform works in detecting scams, MyShield’s two layers of information crowd wisdom and AI-powered cyber intelligence technology have to reach a consensus on the state of a specific online site, page or wallet.   When a user reports a scam, that report will be stored in the blockchain and will be visible to the public so that other users may further investigate and provide more details about it.  Once there is a consensus about the report, then you become eligible to the bounty reward.
Further, the crowd report consensus and the report of AI technology also has to have a consensus in order for a certain website, online item, marketplace to be tagged as trusted or scam.

Hi FlamingFingers!  That is a good question.  Coming from the team’s experience, online scams are sophisticated and continuously evolving to the level that only a combined effort of technology and community participation can be trusted.

There are security measures that MyShield will implement against bots or abusive users (ie taking advantage of the bounty reward or giving a false negative report against a company) and to ensure that only eligible and honest reports will be submitted.  To prevent spam, there’s a method, similar to the Hashcash proof of work concept, that will demand a MyShield amount to be paid by the user before he can submit a report.  Once his report is proven true via a consensus among the users in the blockchain, then his deposit will be returned to him and he will be further eligible to the reporting bounty reward that will be distributed.

While BrandShield's AI powered cyber intelligence already provides a fully operational solution on the B2B level and can exist without blockchain, MyShield's decision making process is much more complex. It is based on the combination of the already existing cyber intelligence (of BrandShield and other cyber intelligence providers), as well as reports by the community, crowd wisdom scoring, and the capability of storing data that is not manipulated by both the users and the providers. As part of the model, users will be rewarded for their reports. Hence the need for the blockchain's transparent, secured database.

Now the MyShield platform is a leveled up technology that is different from the usual anti-spam and anti-virus tools that exists now.  Plus the use of crowd wisdom makes it even advanced because this does not exist yet to date, in any other platforms. :)

Hi ford543! Yes, that's correct.  It's the same as the HashCash model, where user put in a stake as proof of work.  This is our security control, to prevent spam reports from abusive users. Once the report is proven true (via the consensus process), the deposit will be returned back to the user and he will be eligible to the bounty reward that will be distributed in relation to that reported scam.

We are getting date announcement in September.  As mentioned in the whitepaper, publication of token sale date is targeted Q3 2018.  So we have until the end of this month to wait for it. 

Let me explain how that can be considered a flawed argument: You're on a slippery slope by assuming a few things there. Believing truly is not an "if" for us, but a "because". We believe and know it for a fact that there is a looming pensions crisis (in some cases very real and present) and all the indicators are pointing in the right direction. In order to make the maximum impact adoption is key, as anyone reasonably in the know would agree, and in that also we are making good ground. It is my personal opinion that its always wise to respect market conditions irrespective of if you're a blockchain company, an investor or a trader. Those who don't, get easily crushed by the markets.

I've read this.  Competition?  I dont think so.  Myshield's got a lot of features than this one.  Plus I think the name of the team behind this project matters a lot.  Brandshield is already an established name in the cybersecurity field.  So it's a question of who the market will trust more. But putting the backer aside, I think the concept of MyShield platform is more ahead than cryptopolice's crowd participation selling prop.  it didnt even highlight the use of AI but just mentioned it as one ofs.

Still following this project in telegram.  One of the admins has mentioned that there's a lot of interest building around Brandshield and Myshield platform.  So i think this project is still on and quite promising on the delivery of their project.  Still looking forward to this one.

What could it be?  is it just the tge that's changed or the entire roadmap?  was anticipating for this project to be launched soon.  been seeing lots and lots of reports that say scams and cyber crimes keep on rising as the crypto market grows. we could be losing such a great potential if investors will not participate due to fear of being scammed.

the progress of their development is quite slow. encountered this before. they should have product to offer by now. months in crypto is like years of waiting already. people will lose interest if they can't see real progress in the platform.

yeah, i would agree with this.  Although they said beta user app is still targeted Q1 per roadmap.  I just think that many people have been expecting for this project for quite some time already.  Either they lose interest or another project with similar concept but with faster implementation may steal the moment. IMO

All these scam attemps when using the internet are now less and less just because of products like MyShield! I'm really in love with this kind of products related to users safety and protection! Glad to have some genius minds working around the clock to provide us a safer and a more decentralized projects that will help us grow and learn more here in crypto.
Looking forward for the result of the ico, i'll keep myself updated about the project and nice job, well done!.

Not yet, and its normal if we didnt receive the bounty payment yet because their token sale is not even started yet.

But the bad thing is, the community dont know when it will happen or take place, they dont update any news recently.
They still sent chats a few days ago, but just a few words and not really important information.

At least the information published will give a negative side. Although this platform has not started activities such as selling tokens and so on, there is at least some information that must be conveyed so that this platform does not seem like dead

Yep, all of their social media are literally dead now.
No chat by admin in telegram group, the last tweet on twitter was in November 2018 as well as their last post on Facebook Page, and their website doesnt have any update or new information.

It's very disappointing because social media groups have all died because for us social media is very important and so what steps will the team take to overcome this problem
