1  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin, papalo ba sa $100k ?? on: October 21, 2021, 12:46:24 PM
Sa tingin ko naman sobrang dali lang ma achieve ang $100k, mga October tlaga madalas kumilos ang market ng positibo sabayan pa ng good news like the approval of Bitcoin ETF na mas lalong nagpataas ng confidence sa mga investors na pumasok sa Bitcoin. In just 2 remaining months this year, kayang kaya iakyat ito sa ganitong presyo like last bull run 2017 biglang palo at sa tingin ko mas matindi ang palo ngayon nito since mas maraming institutional investors ang nagkakainteres na ngayon.
No offense pero 'di ba parang masyado tayong nageexpect na talagang maaabot ni BTC ang $100k mark by the end of this year. I guess such greater height is not achievable within that short period of time. Remember, do not discount the possibility of bubble getting burst any time soon. Who knows?
2  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Sino ang presidente mo, at bakit? on: October 21, 2021, 08:02:04 AM

On the other hand, I believe that BBM also got a brilliant mind like what his father had.

Sino makakatulong sa ating crypto enthusiasts and cryptosphere in general? Wala I think, unless marinig natin ang concrete na plataporma nila regarding sa bagay na 'to. I do not expect anything for now. Pero kung sino man ang next president, I hope mawakasan niya na ang lahat ng pagdurusa na dulot ng pandemya.
3  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Best sportbetting site to use. on: May 16, 2021, 01:15:46 AM
Thanks mga kabayan, so it seems na prefer pa rin ng karamihan ang old sport betting sites. Noted.

'Di bale na sigurong mahal konti ang fee kasi mas mataas naman ang chance na mapalago mo pera mo dito kesa naman sa online sabong or yung mga nagsulputang betting apps sa smartphone Cheesy.

Salamat ulit. Bisita na lang ako dito to see more opinions from our fellow members.
4  Local / Pamilihan / Best sportbetting site to use. on: May 15, 2021, 03:26:28 PM

Medyo nakaipon na rin kasi ako ng puhunan and planning to start my sportsbetting journey. Mas prefer ko yung may mobile app version as much as possible (pero not a big deal kung wala) and can directly deposit using coins.ph/gcash.

Thank you sa inyo Smiley.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Luke Campbell WBC Lightweight Interim Title (January 2) on: January 04, 2021, 01:28:30 AM
[snip]
That's a bad cherry picking if you'll ask me, Ryan Garcia almost loss in this fight, lucky for him he was able to get up and continue the fight.
Campbell is good but he is not yet in the level of Ryan Garcia, but this boy give a good challenge.

at the back of Campbell's mind, maybe its screaing "ALMOST"..
Not a cherry picking fight indeed. Campbell knocked down Garcia which is first in his whole career. That speaks a lot so I think Campbell deserve the respect from all of us as well.

That's the consequences of showing over confidence inside the ring, Garcia admitted it. Even greatest fighters have weak spots.

[snip]

Love to see a Haney vs Garcia, I'm wondering what the betting odds would be, who will be the favorites in this fight.
Aren't you more interested to Davis vs Garcia? Just asking Grin.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: did I make mistake? on: December 28, 2020, 10:54:20 AM
because I believe Ethereum price will soon increase very high (bull run) following Bitcoin price movement and of course I will get a very big profit from investing in Ethereum (my target for Ethereum price is $1100-$1400)
Ahhmm, as far as I am concern, Ethereum's price really pumped hard as well during the last quarter this year. It is currently $700+ and it's not bad at all. Such price is not the problem but you. You didn't made a mistake on investing on it, it is you who are expecting too much. No offense meant. Well, if you really want to hit that target then keep waiting, that's the least thing you can do Cheesy.
because I believe if Bitcoin dominance decreases, then it will make the price of altcoin increases (including the price of Ethereum).
You are right somehow but eth is a little bit different among the rest. In my opinion, eth is btc's shadow. So if you may notice, when btc pumps, eth pumps as well.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to become a trusted member? on: December 28, 2020, 01:26:57 AM
If you want yo get positive trust ratings, first of all, establish a service which you can offer to others. It's up yo you can buy/sell stuffs, have a lending business, escrow services, running a campaign, or even offering you talents. Then let the rest happen naturally, hope to God that you will get one soon Smiley.

Simlly because you can't please someone to give you positive trust as this is a form of begging which violates the rules of this forum (don't you dare hehe). But don't worry too much, as long as you are having good attitude and transparent all the time ther members would be willing to give you one. Keep patiently waiting.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 27, 2020, 02:03:29 PM
Ever wonder why Scottie Thompson had a good 3 point shooting percentage in the bubble?

Here's the answer.

https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/how-mark-caguioa-helped-scottie-thompson-improve-his-outside-shooting-a793-20201227?ref=home_hybrid_2
Nice one! For sure Scottie will be more confident on his shooting become versatile as well. Thanks to a veteran like Mark Caguioa for pushing him. I'm expecting that he will do more outside shooting the next season.

But aside from it, my other concern is his Free Throw Percentage. It was a little bit low compared to others, only averaging 59%.  That's why if you may notice, he is the one who always get fouled by the opposing team during crucial times because they knew that there's a high chance for him to miss. Yeah we know that he is more a defensive player rather than an offensive one but free throws are part of the basics, every player was expected to master it. But good thing Ginebra got Richard coz Chard Knows Free Throws Cheesy.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Buying a Tesla with Bitcoin on: December 27, 2020, 07:44:57 AM
Oh boy! I hope we reach that far soon. And given that I was able to save 1 btc before such kind of price reached, d*mn I will instantly become a millionaire here in our country! Forget about the Tesla, a fish farm is what I wanted the most hehe Grin.

this picture really shows how bitcoin really preserve its value and even goes beyond huh? meanwhile the traditional paper money have a hard time retaining its value bitcoin keeps on increasing its value and now we see only takes 1.5 for a tesla.

I guess never once people in the past thought how big potential btc really has. the paper money really feels like bad investment at this point

Preserve its value, wow big word. Dude don't be overwhelmed by the fact that bitcoin's price continue to rise recently because lots of ups and downs happened in the middle before we reached the new ATH and future bloodbaths might happen as well.. Crypto is still volatile, it will never change. So don't be complacent, always be careful when investing.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!!!! You BitCoin people were right. I wish I had bought back in March :( on: December 27, 2020, 05:32:34 AM
If there is a local based wallet which is totally legit and widely used in your country then that would be the best option. Whether it is custodial or non custodial, it doesn't matter since you are guaranteed that it was legit. But pick the latter one as much as possible.

Though you missed and opportunity to make a lot of profits, it still not too late for you. You can catch up and hoard bitcoins now. And this time I hope you will no longer doubt. But of course your journey won't be so ideal all the time, prepare for the worst especially that btc's bubble will burst soon (maybe 1st quarter next year, just a maybe tho). However, as long as you keep holding then you are not technically losing, good luck Cheesy.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your merit will find you! on: December 26, 2020, 12:54:42 PM
Hello people, I'm still new here learning, so if you notice my post is quite unprofessional or unworthy bear with me. I'm self developing. And I need your understanding and patience. Don't be hard on us. We getting to the zenith together.

Appreciation 😊

You're a self developing? Then why posts like this?
You could easily find the answers to all these questions on your own, right?

Ahmm, due to laziness lol? Imagine, you can increase your activity while getting the answers for your question. Big brain move Grin. But actually, such deed should not be practiced all the time because it makes you lazy for real. You will get used to depending on others, losing self confidence and make you less dedicated in every task you do.

But on the other side, he got some point. It was real that some experienced members (I'm guilty into to this sometimes) get ill tempered to newbies asking simple questions. We are so harsh that's why others left the forum or the worse is complaining a lot. I don't know if this dilemma will come to and end but as long as respect and compassion exist from both parties then it might be possible tho.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 26, 2020, 09:19:35 AM
pls explain what makes Brooklyn Nets fav.
as i see Durant playing 2-nd match with them and is considered as key player
what other changes both teams have if to compare with prev, season?

First of all, Nets is the better team here, at least that's the expectation of the many. Yes, Nets played their 2nd game but they got some rest, so it's not really a big deal though. Both of these team won their last game, and Boston is playing without one of theirs star player which is Kemba Walker.
Boston on the other still have an incomplete lineup which is sad since season openings are really important to at least get the team having great chemistry.
Yup! Brooklyn Nets' future is in their hands. With Irving and Durant's presence, the team had a huge change. It can now be considered as one of the strongest contender from the East. That We might see a new team in the Finals Cheesy.

Regarding Boston's loss, hmm I don't really bother since it eas only a preseason game. And even if Walker wasn't able to make it through the season opening, I'm still not worrying because they belong to the top tier teams. I believe that they could catch up in no time assuming their key players will not be injured until the very end. Besides, Tatum, Hayward and Brown can carry their team alone.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport betting site offering bets on the Covid-19 pandemic. Worst site now. on: December 26, 2020, 04:34:30 AM
[snip]

I agree. Just placing a bet won't make anyone heartless. Gambling sites allow users to make bets on most of the topics that affect them, and not just sporting events. And making a bet is not going to make the pandemic any worse or better. It is the duty of the WHO and the national agencies to make sure that the pandemic remains contained. No need to blame the gamblers for this, when they are unable to do their job.
Yeah yeah we all knew that its WHO and the government which are responsible to eradicate the virus. However, betting on things like is super inappropriate . It was ridiculous! No offense dude but I absolutely disagree on that. Though technically speaking, you are not adding burden to the pandemic but the fact that you make fun of the situation is shameful.

Like what others said, this topic is not a joke. What if you found out a friendly betting on when your ill pet will die? (Just an example) You will feel bad, right? Same thing applies here. I hope you get my point.
16  Other / Meta / Re: Official Bitcoin Song on: December 26, 2020, 01:28:19 AM
What about if we spend some of the forum's funds on this and write the official Bitcoin song?
I am into marketing too and love the way League of legends promote their product via songs, one such an amazing thing for btc by starset or imagine dragons or another popular band? Person? Not a bad idea Smiley)))
I love the idea but there are already tons of bitcoin related songs existing (Bitcoin Billionaire is my favorite though had a hilarious ending Grin). And my other question is if we will make another one, who has the right and power to make it "official"?

I guess this kind of promotion won't be as effective compared to informative ads. IMO much better if we place some funds on promoting this forum by placing ads in social media platforms and let the audience be curious and explore bitcoin by themselves.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP 5 James Bond gambling scenes on: December 25, 2020, 11:46:34 AM
The only casino scene from James Bond that I am familiar with is the Casino Royale, didn't expect that his opponent was not the villain at all. I love the scene there were Bond seems to know that he will win against Le Chiffre which in turn resulted to him making a mistake.
Am I the only one here who is not familiar with that scene Grin? The latest James Bond, Daniel Craig, lacks charisma in my opinion. That's why I wasn't able to finish any 007 film which is he is the protagonist. Don't get me wrong, the action and story is good especially since it was modern but d*amn Pierce Brosnan is still the best.

Anyway, I visit Youtube because I'm curious what kind of gambling scene is it and I find it thrilling in fairness. Bond's Straight Flush was insane, $100M+ in a glimpse ez!
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So much fud and scams in crypto and BTC on: December 25, 2020, 09:33:13 AM
You sound like one of those guys who are holding huge amount of XRP. You still have time. Dump them all and save yourself from further losses. I am sure once everything settles (going to takes years if not months i guess) the price is going to start going back up (probably? You never know if they are going to face the same problem in the future again) and buy it back when the is about to happen and maximize your profit.
Most probably, he is Cheesy. It really seems that he is greatly affected the way he reacts. But well, it's not too late. You can still dump your holdings in good price (if you're an old investor). Whether it is proven a scam or not, it doesn't matter anymore because crowd's impression is the most important thing to consider since it drives the xrp's price. Better to be late than sorry dude. Besides, there are still plenty good options available, there is btc, eth, ltc etc. Do not isolate yourself on a token which are not decentralized lol.
In case of XRP, this is not a FUD.
It is not but there are loopholes found so you can't say that it will remain legit assuming it wasn't debunked.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: December 25, 2020, 04:49:32 AM
so if there is another exchange project which is better and more popular than BNB, then I think BNB will not be popular anymore (although other exchange will find it difficult to beat or replace the popularity of Binance, because everyone is comfortable trading on Binance).
They are both good, profitable and reputable coins, end of the discussion. No doubt about it! I guess our answers just varies base on our preference. Me? I prefer eth before coz we know that it was Rank 2 and that single thing speaks a lot already. However, I realized that BNB got a greater potential. Binance is a dominating exchange up to date and its legacy continues so I disagree to you that Binance will no longer become popular. I mean more and more investors are trusting their services thus a greater chance for them to trust their own token as well. The more investors means greater price as well. Unlike eth, its image someimes get into trouble Grin.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin for “Fake Rich”? on: December 24, 2020, 02:23:32 PM
iPhones, Tesla might be overpriced "products" which the middle class might buy just to feel that he will be "rich" but bitcoin isn't a product, it's a currency itself.
Indeed, sometimes people having an Iphone or things with signature brands like Gucci etc. etc. is just a product of social media pressure. Some people tend to push themselves going on what's hot despite of inability to sustain such things — being social climber at its finest.

But in the case of bitcoin, you are not considered social climber when you have one simply because you are investing. Imagine, you can be a trader even having a small capital only. Nice, isn't it? Thus, Financial Literate is a much better term for you Wink.
There might come a time when something unnatural might happen causing no phone, internet and electricity but I don't see that coming for the next couple of centuries!
That's right lol. Mankind is not that dumb anymore. We can fix it. The only problem with us is that we are doing damage on this planet even though we are aware of it so I hope we will realize in the future what we done wrong before its too late.
