502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 12, 2020, 04:23:27 PM
Petr Yan has won a vacant Bantamweight Championship belt. Does he counts now as a champ in his division or he needs to fight someone else to be counted as a true champ?

He already a champion if we stick by the rules. but if he wants to prove that he really is, he needs to face some top contender in their division and when he able to defeat that challenger
I 100% agree on this one. Since he got the belt so easily (but don't get me wrong, Aldo is a tough veteran) then the least he can do is to defend as much as he could. That's the only way to prove others that he is now the king and can't dethrone by anyone. Though the Bantamweight's list is not as solid like the other divisions, i can still see good contenders for him like Garbrandt, Moraes, Asuncao and the rising superstar Sean O'Malley. It will not be smooth journey for him Grin.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 12, 2020, 11:07:30 AM
Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal did not live up to the hype but Usman was not able to finish Masvidal and the first round i scored for Masvidal [...]
I thought Masvidal have a greater chance of winning because of his good performance on round one but everything changed onwards. Kamaru clearly dominated him on the next 4 rounds. Yeah! It seems a boring fight but Usman's dirty boxing and wrestling skills obviously make Gamebred exhausted.

Alexander Volkanovski was able to defeat Max Holloway but i scored the fight to Max as he was able to knock down Volkanovski [...]
Indeed. I'm a fan of Volkanovski but dude IMHO Holloway got robbed. Maybe Dana is up to something hmm Huh. I hope there's a rematch again to settle everything.
Petr Yan defeated José Aldo and the first 3 rounds were great and the old leg kicks of Aldo was on full display as he as able to sweep [...]
Actually what a near miss for Aldo. He did some brutal damage on Yan due to liver shots on round 3 but he wasn't able to finish it. On the other hand, Yan did nice upper cuts before round 4 ends (so cringey). I think that's the reason why Aldo lose composure and lose.

With that being said, do you think this is now the right time for Aldo to retire?
Rose Namajunas defeated Jéssica Andrade and the score card looks close but Rose was dominating in the first two rounds [...]
My favorite fight of the night Shocked. It's so exciting that I watch it blow by blow. Andrade's agility and head movement was so insane but unfortunately Namajunas show a lot of accuracy that's why she able to penetrate on her defense. Thus, split decision in favor of Thug Rose is fair enough.

It seems that you are a fast learner huh. You alteady know how to put signature despite of being a cluelesa beginner with only two posts. Nice Roll Eyes.

Anyway, welcome to the forum football superstar lmao. I believe other members already answered your question and i'm glad about it. You can now use their suggestions to familiarize this forum faster. Hmm, another thing; don't be a sh*tposter, spammer, troll or do any kind of misconduct. Just be an obedient member, okay? Smiley
505  Local / India / Re: Cashaa hacked. 336 BTC Stolen. on: July 12, 2020, 03:43:57 AM
With that huge amount of Bitcoins, they still can't afford a hardware wallet?

I'm wondering the same thing but here are the possible reasons I can think of: 1) They are new to this business (they are established on 2019) so their knowledge and management is not yet mature as the other big companies. However, this is not a valid excuse becuause you supposed to know the business, from the chances of best or worst case scenario, before entering. 2) They are complacent, thinking "What could possibly go wrong?".

Nevertheless, it's their own fault. They can't blame anyone even the hackers bacause being bad is in their nature already. How sad that the least thing they can do is to make their excahge bullet proof but they fail to do so Sad.
506  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is your main goal... ? on: July 12, 2020, 01:13:53 AM
Please focus on learning a trade instead of starting stupid threads asking how to get something for nothing.
Chill bro Cheesy hehehe. He's believing that there's no free in crypto world as well. That's why he is advising to avoid those stuff included on the list.

Anyway, I admit that I got hyped on one of those things (faucets particularly) before when I was a beginner. I thought it is worth of my time but it's not at all. So embarrassing. Well, I already learned my lesson so now I'm just focusing on my studies and saving money to buy everything I need in order to daytrade. Though I have a slow progress, I know that I can make it Smiley.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know what you getting into on: July 11, 2020, 11:52:06 AM
It takes time to make money in crypto space, some people called Ethereum and ripple a shitcoin years back, what happened to this coins today?
Fair enough but dude the market scene couple of years back is very different in recent times. Many have changed since crypto became more popular. Today, you may actually realized that most of the projects sprouting serve as a gateway for the scammers to steal our money. If not, they ended up a failure after the dumping season ~ change my mind Grin.
508  Economy / Economics / Re: Current Food Shortage and Economic Decline Caused by Pandemic on: July 11, 2020, 08:47:26 AM
Some countries are trying to stop the lockdown and look for other means as to not kill their economy. But when you’re trying to ease the lockdown, cases starts getting worse and increasing, it’s really annoying. Seriously, I don’t know what’s next, but we still have to face it.
Same here Sad. Our government made a crucial step like what you've said but it is not going well. Yeah the economy is recovering a little bit now but this is in exchange for larger covid 19 cases. *sigh I'm already tired of this situation.
I'm not sure what are other bad consequence of ongoing pandemic we are going to face in coming months.
Pestilence, Death and Famine are occurring now, there is only one remaining and I'm scared because there's a tendency for it to happen *knock on the wood.
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Who should Ryan Garcia fight? on: July 11, 2020, 05:11:10 AM

The best pick for this young boy IMO. And if ever happened, that is the right time for Davis to prove his worth. Many people still don't believe in him because they think that most of his matches are just against to not so skillful opponents. So if Davis will be match up to Garcia (which is obviously crowd's favorite) and win it then doubts are erased anymore. It will prove that his 0 loss record is not by luck Cheesy.

The Garcia and Davis fight does not need hype, the style compliments each other one counter puncher and the other an aggressor so we will a nonstop action if ever they meet
Yup! Sorry if I'm too advance and don't focus on Garcia vs Campbell fight because I have a strong gut feel that Garcia will beat him lol Grin. That's why I'm already looking forward for a more interesting opponent like Davis.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not underestimating the other fighters but for now Garcia and Davis really caught my attention (as well as Lopez). They are the one who I think can level to Lomachenko's skill.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: July 11, 2020, 02:28:42 AM
I agree, like when i'm first in crypto world i easily get scammed by someone, and then rekt by HYIP because too greed to get instan profit. because that time i'm not have much knowledge and greed too. but after that i got a lesson to not get scam by someone again until now
Most likely, those affected by the scam are just learning. I also like that when I know crypto, so many scammers. it's just that, now I'm used to it. however, I also agree that greed is a major factor in this matter. people want to get rich quickly, and scammers take advantage of that, so people are easily fooled.
What? So you mean you are now used to getting scammed or you are used to see scammers around? Well, I hope it was the latter part Grin.

Actually having an encounter with scammers and tons of "scammish" projects is no longer new to me. But just like you, I'm no longer bothered because I know that I will not fall on their witty traps. And everyone should do the same — be smart and careful always. If you once became a victim then make sure it won't happen again next time Cheesy.
511  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: July 10, 2020, 12:51:24 PM
Here's another brain twister

this is not too horrible but this is the main reason many people stop being bounty hunters Grin. but don't worry too much because not all projects launched end in a scam and thorough first before participating. although many projects don't pay, but don't make that's a as reason to stop being a bounty hunter because not all projects don't pay. keep up the bounty hunter's spirit.
Hmm, a little bit confusing but I still got his point somehow. Let me try on this one.

I think what he meant is this.. Scam project is one of the main reasons why bounty hunters stop but it is not as bad as what you think (huh??). Don't worry too much because not all projects launched ended up a scam but researching (that's what he meant on the word "thorough") is still a must. Though many of them don't pay, that's not enough reason to quit bounty hunting. Keep up the bounty hunter's spirit!

Any interpretations Grin?
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines SEC warns against crypto investment. on: July 10, 2020, 09:46:37 AM
The Philippine SEC warned those who were involved in crypto schemes could face a fine or 21 years of imprisonment or both."
Pheww.. I thought all people who engage with these schemes including the investors will get punished. I'm glad it's not hehehe.

So for the Forsage investors there or those people who are hooked in different investment platforms found on FB, now you know that you are just believing in false fantasies. Learn your lesson and don't fall on such schemes again Wink.

I don't know how this will affect the adoption here in the Philippines but it something will give a negative impact as people will also think negatively when they hear and read for this.
Nope, I think the opposite. What I see here is that many investors will become braver to invest actually  (mainly to crypto) because they are now relieve by this news. Scammers will now be afraid to continue their tricks thus we can expect that there will be lesser victims and lesser complains in return. Props to SEC for acting fast, they are helping the crypto community in our country grow faster.
513  Economy / Economics / Re: The freer the market, the freer the people? on: July 10, 2020, 08:07:44 AM
Its good to be free in buying and selling as well in having different investment and payment methods in our own means but some situations really needs to have laws or rules to follow for equality and betterment of the situation.
I think not a good idea either. Just like what have you said, there's always a negative side in such condition. Too much freedom on buying and selling would be unhealthy in a sense that illegal stuff such as drugs, firearms, endangered animals or anything you can found in Black market will now accessible for everyone so easily. What do you think would probably happen if each one of us got our own pistol even let's say just for protection purposes "only"? Bruh you can't talk peace while you have a gun, this lead to chaos for sure. How ironic that freer market do not result to a peaceful living.

On the latter part, I agree on being open for wider variety of payment methods. I don't see anything wrong about it, it actually brings more comfort for the people Smiley.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Who should Ryan Garcia fight? on: July 10, 2020, 04:51:32 AM
I reckon that the most entertaining fight for the fans might be Ryan Garcia versus Gervonta Davis.
515  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is likely to reach $ 10,000!!!! on: July 10, 2020, 01:41:43 AM
Like the others, I'm also optimistic with regards to bitcoin achieving the $10k mark since it's not too far to be honest. Up to this moment, the price already declined by 1.65% and that's not of course a sign of growth. But I do believe that we are finally resilient to $9k mark so there's nothing to worry about. Besides, we're just in the 2nd week of July so expect more things to happen. Hoping all of those are good tho Smiley.
516  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin for a few...! on: July 09, 2020, 12:32:03 PM
in any case what some people choose to do doesn't mean bitcoin is exclusive to a few. it is a free world, anybody can choose to adopt bitcoin.
Indeed, bitcoin is open for adoption for every country, all are allowed to use it no matter who they are. It depends on them if they are going to trust the bitcoin or not.
Yeah! It's true that bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general is open for all countries worldwide. But most of them choose to not show their support: 1) They totally hate it thus of prohibiting the use of it, and 2) For more fortunate case, they're only not showing huge priority on it. Our own governments are too focused on remedying unending problems such as poverty, low employment, food shortage on man's necessities rather than pursuing small technological upgrades like this one. So as a result, the citizens tend to become clueless about it unless all of us are tech geeks lol. Less awareness means less adoption, and less adoption means slower crypto community growth Undecided. That's why not only us but also our government plays a votal role on putiing bitcoin intoainstream.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying food or groceries with Bitcoin on: July 09, 2020, 08:51:37 AM
In my country, there is still no grocery that are accepting bitcoin as payment but there are now small businesses like computer shop and coffee shops that are now starting to adopt cryptocurrencies.

seems not right eh ? the big companies are the ones that must accept new technologies first before the smaller ones because more people visit on them the most while small business hardly being seen  . less to no people are going to try thier new accepted payment method  which was btc  . lesser adoption we can achieve as well    .
That's not only my concern. I feel sad to know that most of the grocery stores, reaturants and establishments here in our country is yet open to adopt bitcoin as well but already accepting e-money payments (Gcash, Paymaya, Paypal etc.). There are almost no difference between the two, isn't it? Then why they are not trying to adopt it? Yeah! Maybe some of you will say about the volatility. But I think it is easy to resolve by means of giving the equivalent amount of btc on your purchase. $1 worth of btc for $1 apple, as simple as that.
The progress in my country is too slow when it comes to mass adaption because of lack of financial literacy. Actually there are less than 10 bitcoin ATM in my country as of now and it seems that it will take more time before it doubles.
That's not the worst dude. As far as I know, we only have one bitcoin ATM here until now Sad.
518  Other / Meta / Re: Where do Locked topics on the forum move to? on: July 09, 2020, 04:00:11 AM
[snip]
sometimes it's just human error and just missed the topic your looking for(happens to me from time to time).
Actually it would be easier to find if you posted on that thread because it will still appear on your history.

Anyway, yeah sometimes it's just a human error but most of the time that locked thread go on the next pages due to the new stockpiled of threads. But if you already reach page 5 above and find nothing then most probably it was deleted already.
it would be nice(but not necessary) to have a feature that lets you see your last visited threads if you have trouble finding it.
That's a good feature in fairness but it could be better and more usable if it would be a notification bar because it offers same function. Plus, you can visit the posts which are quoted by someone else Smiley.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no ROI if the crypto is a stablecoin on: July 09, 2020, 01:14:32 AM
Honestly, I never trusted these stablecoin, why should I hold them when I can just hold a real USD instead.  In an exchange where fiat cash is supported, why do we have to use stablecoin when there is no profit on it?  I see, people tend to ride the trend and stablecoin were the trend back then.  Just for bragging I think
I don't also see a significant essence why some investors keep on investing in stablecoins (particularly Tether). Maybe they only want to embrace a new technology however I'm not aware of its real applications either hmm. Well, maybe you are right, they used it to look more techie and advanced than those who only used fiat Grin.

I would rather choose to put my money in the bank tjan investing on such thing. At least I can get interest there lol.
520  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Strategies to Face the Next Crisis on: July 08, 2020, 12:58:08 PM
It is about financial literacy after all, the people who are mostly suffering in this current crisis are the people who are not financial literate where they do not have enough knowledge about budgeting, saving and spending their money. They do not have savings because it is not their priority and they are now affected because of the crisis. It is sad to see that there are also people who are blaming the government even though they are the one who are wrong because they do not give a care to financial literacy.

Our future depends on what we do everyday, if we improve our financial literacy; there is a high chance that we can survive on the crisis that we may face in the near future.
Yup! I agree on that. Being business minded could save you in these recent times. We are no longer talking about whether you have a blue collar or white collar job because most of us are put into the same situation, it's all about whose got a creative business ideas and those people who can do everything to earn even if it means on doing things below your educational attainment Cheesy.

However, financial literacy is not the issue all the time. There are so called "poorest of the poor", they are so unfortunate up to extent that they will not eat the whole day if they will not work, and take note, not a simple work but a dirty/hard job. That's sad to know Sad.
