Disappointed after seeing John McAfee is on the list as he's nothing but a "Pay me money and I will say your project is good on my social media". The list would've been much better without him but hey, he's at least on #70 and a lot of other familiar names who have undoubtedly made a lot of contributions in their respective fields towards crypto.

This is one of the main reasons why people have stopped trusting centralized institutions in general. Those in the dark could be oblivious to this manipulation and continue putting their money on the S&P 500 markets looking at the rises, only to later realize that there was blatant market manipulation. Some people even go to the extent of defending their investments against these allegations which is straight up stupidity on their part.

Fair play that the state which is taking this initiative is Kerala (most literate state in the country) and it comes as no surprise that people there are actually very keen on learning more about blockchain technologies.


This is the main conundrum here, the government is not budging over its stance on cryptocurrency and it seems very likely to be this way until they're made to open their eyes and look at the positives of 21st century technology. Don't quite seem to understand the point of your rant here OP, you say you don't have enough ways to convert stable coins into hard cash and proceed to say "it isn't convenient to trade stable coins right now"? - The only way you can get cash in your hands is by trading those coins for which you will be receiving cash in return.

This particular topic has a great influence from the political sector as whatever the US government does will significantly impact the price of the dollar. For once, the US would be the last of the nations to be worried about its national debt because of its role in the current world politics and yet Bitcoin wouldn't necessarily be that big of a detrimental factor towards paying off debts.

Coming from a country which had its economy in shambles recently, this is actually a positive move to help its people to move away from cash and into electronic payment systems. Fines imposed will definitely be used by the government towards possibly clearing the massive debt that already exists and it comes as no surprise that these are big numbers we're talking about here.

With all the wave of hacks that have plagued the cryptocurrency exchange industry over the years, I would back away from staking on an exchange. Of course the entire concept of staking involves a user keeping hold of a large number of coins to gain a small portion of it and it goes without saying that even the top-tier exchanges in the industry have been known to be shaky when it comes down to their backend security.


Goes without saying that the lower tier exchanges will also come up with similar offers in attempts to rotate the 'staked' coins and then the entire operation goes horribly wrong for many concerning reasons.

Google has nowhere mentioned that their Quantum Computing capabilities will be put into use towards the cryptocurrency sector and it is very likely to remain the same. There are much better places for it to be utilized which extends mainly to scientific simulations especially in Physics. With that said, there could be a small possibility of Google going full monetary-headed and put it to use in the economic industry to directly to push their stock values up.

From what it looks, the team is emphasizing on their main net which they believe will be enough to bring in partners and sponsors. Pretty sure the PR team is also at work, constantly looking out for approaching entities to tie up with.

Honestly, the entire fight over the six rounds that occurred felt so underwhelming. I was watching it off a re-stream and I'm glad I did not opt to watch it on pay-per-view as it was quite the disappointment. Felt like two school kids were throwing themselves at each other lol.

It could be a big problem for people who go around doing their daily business with hard cash as there is the cap of 25k RM. The only upside for such people is that it becomes much easier to transact big sums of money after depositing it in a bank and then sending it through the online payment method.


Its quite easy for the government to monitor ALL of the transactions happening online with the use of a unified payment system model which is undoubtedly being developed for this purpose.  

While the name sounds a bit deceptive when it introduces the word 'model' instead of the typical terms of 'coin' and 'exchange', any new ideas are always welcome as long as it smoothens the procedure involved between the project team and the investors. Also, the mutli-phase sale will also benefit the project as it provides a basis for the team to work on, to show progress and rope in more investors.

Don't see how this is going to boost the already accelerating Bitcoin market as physical coins will have a series of things going against it. The entire point of an online cryptocurrency was to eliminate physical commodities while maintaining everything on a online ledger and it has been a massive success so far.

Coming to the topic of physical coins, we have witnessed the collectibles market over the last couple of years having a massive boom (mainly Casascius) and it is noticeable that these are minted collectibles rather than actual coins for trading purpose.

Being a whale is quite the hard task itself as it involves a huge degree of risk of losing a lot of money all at once, all because of one bad decision. Wallet and coin storage services are sometimes known to be shady and any sort of shady activity seen by the user will result in them wanting to move the huge funds to a more secure location.

There is no way for Bitcointalk as a forum to approve a project as almost all projects tend to bring their products and services into picture only AFTER conducting one or more exchange offerings. As a result, it is impossible to say if a project is legit or just a scam other than simple call outs like faking the team details, plagiarism in the white paper etc. which is cracked down by the infamous Sherlocks on the forum.

Given the crypto scene began to grow earlier in the decade and also the country here is China, it could possibly be a case of a team studying crypto over the years and giving the government inputs on how they could use it. A big factor here would be the currency getting tied up with the social credit system in China which is known to involve every citizen of the country and again, a leverage to monitor the entirety of the nation's (partial?) economy.

The only enemies here are the money-hungry governments from across the world who want to establish control over the cryptocurrency to the highest extent. Not only do they urge on taxing crypto holders residing within the country but also want to pile up additional stipulations and regulations for trading the same.

Very different approach from the usual IEOs/projects which would only open trading markets after completing the entire sale. Either ways, looks promising on paper and the investors can hopefully rejoice once the entirety of the project comes online and delivers.
