1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are your holdings ready for this altcoinseason? on: Today at 08:21:24 AM
There’s still time to buy coins until the bull run really kicks off but we are running out of time. I don’t think we’re ever fully ready but I’m as ready as I can be. I have a good portfolio, hopefully we’re all celebrating together by the end of 2025. I wish the best for you all!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which of these coins has highest chance to 10x? on: Today at 08:04:17 AM
I would say Shiba Inu but that’s because they have a big loyal community & it did well in the last bull run. Do your own research though & don’t overcommit to one coin incase it doesn’t work out. In all honesty I know very little about the other coins you named.
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The death of Iran president and seven others on: May 24, 2024, 06:40:01 PM
You can absolutely never trust mainstream media & what they report. The death of the Iranian President could easily have been an ordered hit but we’re never going to know. Israel have claimed it was nothing to do with them but they would, wouldn’t they. I just don’t think we’re going to know.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Ever dreamt of turning your passion into profit? on: May 24, 2024, 05:35:25 PM
Obviously it’s great to enjoy what you do but be careful that trying to monetise your hobby doesn’t cause you to fall out of love with it. The pressures of running a business are rife & you might regret doing it. Have a thoroughly good think first if it’s something that you definitely want to do.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season, will it come next months? on: May 24, 2024, 05:23:49 PM
Altcoin price action usually lags behind Bitcoin price action so whenever Bitcoin flies high, expect altcoins to follow shortly after. We’re not get at peak bull phase, it might he 2025 that happens. Great news about the Ethereum Spot ETF approval though. It will bring much needed regulation & acceptance that ERC-20 tokens are the real deal.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Crypto To Buy for 10x Gains in 2024 on: May 23, 2024, 07:52:20 PM
Everybody you ask in this Altcoin Discussion Sub will give you a different answer to the question. You can’t trust most responses you get because people will name coins they are invested in so it’s difficult to get an honest answer about which crypto will 10 x or more in 2024. All you can do is do your own research & diversify amongst a number of coins or tokens that you believe in. Go for coins with a low supply, you stand a better chance then.
7  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Make a difference in your society. on: May 23, 2024, 07:40:38 PM
You can volunteer for causes you are passionate about & support local businesses. Advocate for positive change by contacting local representatives, signing petitions & join grassroots movements. Practice kindness & empathy in your daily interactions, inspiring others to do the same. Even small actions can have a ripple effect & contribute to creating a more inclusive & compassionate society.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the biggest airdrop you've ever received? on: May 23, 2024, 07:33:51 PM
Biggest airdrop I ever received in the whole time I’ve been in crypto was just by holding Bitcoin, I got airdropped so much free money with the block size wars when there was all the forks. I got Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin Diamond & a bunch I can’t even remember their names. It was good times, I wouldn’t mind it happening again.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Take Profit in this Bullrun on: May 23, 2024, 06:52:31 PM
Just set up a sell ladder, obviously never sell 100% of any particular coin, just incase it continues to rise & you’re left holding fiat. You’re never going to time the exact top of any run up so make peace with yourself on that. Thd next 12-18 months will be a big bull run. Make sure you allocate the fiat derived from these sales to something that betters your life & keep some of the fiat aside to buy back during the inevitable bear market in a couple of years.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Bitcoin spot ETF, there is Ethereum spot ETF on: May 23, 2024, 06:12:23 PM
According to sources in the media we could get the decision from the SEC within the next 2 hours. I didn’t think it would be this easy to get a Spot ETF for Ethereum but it looks likely there could be approval today.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Luxury items stock will be good way to go on: May 22, 2024, 10:35:29 AM
We live in a world where most people are just trying to get by from month to month. Luxury goods are for the elite, it doesn’t always make them happy though. Real wealth is wealth of the heart, happiness & having a good family & friends around you. We all end up in the ground, you can’t take your Ferrari or designer wardrobe with you. Obviously it’s nice to be comfortable but being uber rich isn’t the way to be happy.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - Previous vs Current Cycle on: May 22, 2024, 09:12:58 AM
Interesting, seems we are ahead of the previous fractal currently. Let’s hope that continues, I actually think we will go higher than $172,000 but it would still be a nice price if that’s where it tops out at. I think over $200,000 is likely. Let’s wait & see though, only way to find out.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Bitcoin spot ETF, there is Ethereum spot ETF on: May 22, 2024, 09:06:20 AM
If approved it will be huge for Ethereum & ERC-20 tokens. I really have my fingers crossed for this, it will be a big driver for a really good Altcoin bull run. I don’t want to get my hopes up too much but this could change our lives.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Stagnant Salaries vs. Inflationary Savings Tax on: May 22, 2024, 08:48:07 AM
Obviously Option A is far more preferable. I’m not an economist but I don’t understand why governments can’t just freeze consumer goods prices & inflation for a few years to help people manage their finances better. I have never understood why things cost far more over time, it doesn’t make any sense. All I can think is that it’s all driven by reckless government fiscal policies, money printing & spiralling national debts. Regardless I protect myself with Bitcoin. Nobody is printing my future into the dirt.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Idea of btc is genius the limited supply that's why i think it's safe heaven on: May 22, 2024, 08:42:53 AM
It’s not just limited supply that makes it the greatest innovation of the last 100 years or more. It’s decentralisation & the fact that all transactions are final, no chargebacks or reversals. Bitcoin will be in every 401k, every pension in the First World within 20 years.
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I want law and order back on: May 21, 2024, 03:37:09 PM
Crime has continually increased across most of my country over the last decade. I think it’s mostly to do with the cost of living going up so much. People can’t afford to live the way they used to. This leads to frustration, anger & desperation which can lead people to commit crime.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: What scares me from investing in gold. on: May 21, 2024, 02:54:21 PM
I think Gold used to be a good investment but it just simply doesn’t provide high enough returns any more to interest me. We’re here on a Bitcoin & cryptocurrency forum, Gold is a boomers investment. Bitcoin is here to take over, I see no reason why anybody under 50 would want Gold now.
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the problem in the east side of world ? on: May 21, 2024, 02:09:00 PM
Reasons for conflict in the East are complex with many things contributing to ongoing tensions. Some key issues include historical & territorial disputes, political & ideological differences, ethnic & religious tensions, resource competition & power struggles. These things combined with a legacy of colonialism & geopolitical interests have created a volatile environment prone to conflict.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another Dog🐕 themed memecoin LAIKA looks set to dominate.. on: May 21, 2024, 01:00:56 PM
It could pump hard, this is the world of crypto, anything can moon with the backing of a good community & a good marketing campaign. Maybe it’s a bit too obvious though this time, have dog meme coins been milked?I guess we will find out soon.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kraken considers dropping USDT in Europe ahead of new regulations on: May 21, 2024, 07:47:55 AM
I hope that doesn’t happen, I use USDT quite regularly. EU regulations are BS, they are so fearful of cryptocurrency it’s embarrassing. It says a lot about the EU & their pathetic €. They clearly have no confidence in their currency, you can sense the fear by their actions.
