81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how do you think meme coinis? on: April 09, 2024, 11:29:37 AM
There are dozens of other threads discussing meme coins on the forum, you could have used the search function & posted in an existing thread. My opinion on meme coins though is that if you hit the right one you can become wealthy but there are lots & it can be difficult to buy the right one. Don't over allocate funds into a meme coin because most of them fail & even those that pump, you can be too slow & not sell in time. It’s a jungle out there, be careful.
82  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Would Anyone Be Against Self Defense? on: April 09, 2024, 11:06:36 AM
Self defence should be a human right in every country, no government or law enforcement agency should ever outlaw the right to defend yourself with reasonable force if you are in danger. Obviously you can’t go round attacking people & claiming self defence but if you fear for your safety you should always be able to defend yourself.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could be the best of Solana NFTs? on: April 09, 2024, 10:13:14 AM
Chads are up over 75% in the last 24 hours but I agree with mk4 in a few posts above that Mad Lads have the highest potential to totally dominate the SOL NFT space. The marketcap is over 1.2 million SOL so they are no joke, If you’re looking to buy & hold a reputable NFT collection then they are a good one to own.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana - worth it in 2024? on: April 09, 2024, 10:07:25 AM
The all too often network downtime is really not good, it’s something that could potentially ruin Solana’s chances of surviving & flourishing in an increasingly mainstream cryoto accepting world. I have seen people saying online that they haven’t been able to use the Solana network for 3 days, it is simply not sustainable if devs can’t finally stop downtimes. I actually like Solana a lot, it needs to be more reliable though.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your educated guess on BTC price at the end of 2024 on: April 06, 2024, 07:22:22 PM
Current price action looks good, currently hovering just under ATH from 2021. The block reward halving is in under two weeks, things are looking bullish. I am going to confidently predict the price will be over 90,000 USD but maybe under 100,000 USD possibly because of the psychological thing there. The blow off top & peak will be at some time during 2025.
86  Other / Serious discussion / Re: What are those problems you enjoy solving. on: April 06, 2024, 07:10:08 PM
I used to enjoy doing big puzzles when I was a kid. I kind of got bored & grew out of that. I like doing Sudoku, I have a big book of them that I do when bored travelling.

One thing I have begun to enjoy recently is Escape Rooms. They’re quite popular now, has anybody ever done one?
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MUMU the Bull, the next Shiba?? on: April 06, 2024, 07:04:35 PM
You’re not going to get a definitive answer here or anywhere else for that matter because nobody knows what the next meme coin is that will go parabolic & change lives until it does that kind of move. The fundamentals look good for MUMU but nobody can give you any guarantees. Invest a small amount in it, take a risk but don’t over allocate.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Temporary Down Turn for Altcoins Over? on: April 06, 2024, 06:53:46 PM
Seems Bitcoin could have formed a bottom so a period of consolidation will likely happen now under after the halving. Altcoins will follow the direction of Bitcoin as usual. Patience is key, do not sell your bags, prosperity awaits the patient.
89  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The governments are conscienceless on: April 06, 2024, 03:19:03 PM
They don’t care about us, all they want to do is line their pockets at our expense. There is so much corruption in governments, they don’t care whether most of us live or die. The sooner most of us realise that the better.
90  Other / Politics & Society / Re: DNA and paternity fraud on: April 06, 2024, 01:41:35 PM
I’m unsure if it’s an increasing trend. If anything, it should be decreasing due to the science advancements that enable DNA testing. Humans are like animals, you can’t control everybody, some people make unpredictable choices. If somebody is sleeping around & doesn’t know who the Father of their child is it just means they are a bad person. I don’t think as a whole it is increasing though.
91  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the unwritten rules of healthy life? on: April 06, 2024, 12:51:01 PM
To live a healthy life it's important to follow a few key rules. It’s important to maintain a balanced diet by including  lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins & healthy fats. Obviously regular physical activity to keep your body active and strong is vital. Get quality sleep to allow for proper rest & rejuvenation. Try to manage stress through relaxation techniques like meditation or deep breathing exercises. Obviously it’s really important to avoid harmful habits like smoking & excessive alcohol consumption. Small changes in daily habits can make a big difference in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything is over priced but people keep spending on: April 06, 2024, 12:31:29 PM
The cost of living is ridiculous, wage increases are just not keeping pace with inflation but what option do people have? Some people will be putting household necessities on credit cards just to survive. If you’re lucky enough to have enough disposable income to do things you enjoy, not just necessities then you are in the minority & privileged.
93  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the halving already priced in? on: April 06, 2024, 10:00:30 AM
People have said this every cycle & it’s always been proven that the halving is not priced in. Expect more aths in 2024 & 2025. I don’t make the rules, this is how Bitcoin works.
94  Other / Politics & Society / Re: No matter what don't let your life be controlled by three things on: April 06, 2024, 09:42:31 AM
It’s difficult not to be controlled by money because obviously you need it to live. Especially with the current cost of living crisis, it’s at the forefront of everybody's mind. The best thing to do is try to enjoy down time when you are not at work, take up a hobby that doesn’t cost anything, running is a good past time, it keeps you fit too.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Elon Must not tweeting about any crypto coin on his twitter now ? on: April 03, 2024, 01:33:13 PM
He is a very busy guy, I think a lot of the reason he was tweeting about crypto was because he found it fun, he enjoyed the attention it brought him from crypto communities. I know TESLA owns Bitcoin but apart from that I don’t know how much genuine interest he actually has in crypto. I think the whole DOGE tweeting was just for the lols. Elon has a lot of very important business obligations so maybe crypto is on the back burner for a bit.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BGB hits another ATH, despite the crypto downtrend.. on: April 03, 2024, 12:40:11 PM
I haven’t heard of this token before but good for you. Maybe, depending on how early you got in, you should think about realising some profits now. Obviously don’t sell all of it but these type of projects can rug pull so best to take some profits.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone here ever visited El Salvador and tried paying with bitcoin there? on: April 03, 2024, 11:37:36 AM
I haven’t but here is an article detailing the experiences of a student who went to ES & tried to live on Bitcoin for 2 months. https://www.coindesk.com/consensus-magazine/2023/08/07/two-months-in-el-salvador-the-ground-game-for-bitcoin-adoption/amp/
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether's expansion: a good signal for the uptrend? on: April 03, 2024, 11:18:05 AM
Great OP, very thorough & detailed. To respond to the question, I think Tether expanding is a great thing for cryptocurrency. They have had so much regulatory pressure, questions, audits & always come through satisfying demands. I think they will be a huge part of the financial system in the future.
99  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Kucoin in trouble? on: April 02, 2024, 07:15:51 PM
This news was made public 5 days ago but still doesn’t seem to be any problems with Kucoin so not sure how serious it is.

I have moved most of my crypto off the exchange now only holding a few on there that I can’t send to my cold wallet as they do no support it.

Never wise to leave too much of your stash on an exchange, 20% is far too much so I’m glad you’ve rectified that now. I think it’s for the best in this scenario especially as often once these rumours start swiroing, sometimes a widespread rug pull isn’t too far away.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sam Bankman-Fried, the "Crypto King" jailed for 25 years on: April 02, 2024, 06:59:52 PM
I saw him saying he didn’t think what he was doing was illegal in court. He’s as dishonest as anybody in history, the guy is one of the biggest fraudsters/scammers in history & he’s now in the place he deserves to be for a long time, good riddance.
