861  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin maximum price on: July 04, 2023, 07:33:21 PM
This year I’m going to say $45,000 max. 2025 is when the real fireworks start in my opinion but we are entering a new bull market now, the ascent in price should begin shortly. It’s very early days in this bull market though so don’t expect miracles in 2023. We should end this year well though.
862  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Situation in france problem on: July 02, 2023, 07:04:05 PM
I think Macron relaxed immigration rules too much. France has fallen, the lawlessness is widespread & it does all seem to be a certain demographic. What I would say is that there is an open investigation into the death of the 17 year old boy. If the police acted in an illegal or unjust way then those responsible should be punished to the full extent of the law. The looting, vandalism, robbery & violence is inexcusable though, the young boy did not die for youths to rob Apple stores & designer clothes & handbag stores as I saw on the news. France needs to pull itself together fast before it gets even more out of control.
863  Economy / Speculation / Re: Less than 300 days left to halving - price predictions for The Day? on: July 02, 2023, 06:11:39 PM
It’s a tough question to accurately predict an answer but just for fun, I will participate. On the day of the halving I will make a prediction that the price will be $52,000. I don’t think we’ll be at the ATH by the time the halving happens but we won’t be too far away. There are so many variables as to what could happen but $52,000 is a good estimate I think but we will see, not long to go now.
864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 will determined bitcoin fate on: July 02, 2023, 05:50:49 PM
Many expectations of bitcoin this year failed, but I notice that bitcoin always breakout into a new price after interval of five years, the last massive explosion of price was between 2017-2018 and since then, bitcoin has not record major price increase. Now if you calculate from 2018 to 2023 that's about 5 years though because of policy of economic inflation and influence the price has not gain its actual strength to break resistance limits and if the remaining quarter of the year fails even more, then we should expect 2024 to 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 fire. We should start to make plans for 2024 more buys more gains.

2024 will probably be a pretty smooth but not parabolic uptrend. I expect 2025 to be the year that bitcoin really moons for this cycle so we have a little time to go until the fun really starts. Cheap coins are still a thing, probably a good time to load up whilst we’re still under $50,000.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin for bitcoin on: July 02, 2023, 01:40:30 PM
We don’t need a specific stablecoin for only use with bitcoin. To create a new one or rely on a centralised group to create a new one is a bad idea. We already have Tether which has a longstanding reputation as very trustworthy. If we really like to use stablecoins then there is no better than USDT.
866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing doesn't guarantee you to be rich on: July 02, 2023, 08:28:59 AM
Of course investing your money in certain assets or commodities doesn’t guarantee to make you rich but I will tell you one thing, keeping your money in fiat in the bank won’t make you rich. You’ll actually get poorer every year that way through the stealth annual tax, aka inflation. Buy bitcoin & relax, long term your money will grow in value.
867  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will fall or rise? $30400 the recent price on: July 01, 2023, 01:26:03 PM
After the SEC did not want to approve bitcoin spot ETF, bitcoin fall from $31000 back to $30400 as of today price.

Bitcoin actually dipped to $29,500 when the SEC comments about the current ETF applications came out. The price has recovered well, it seems to be reacting well to FUD at the moment. I think the only thing that can really stop bitcoin doing really well over the next 2.5 years is if there is a world war or even really bad recession/depression worldwide. I think the usual 4 year cycle will play out though & we will start to go up soon as we get close to the halving in 2024.
868  Other / Off-topic / Re: My poem; Bitcoin oh ye wonderful on: July 01, 2023, 08:51:20 AM
Very creative, you have a nice way with words. The last time I constructed a poem was when I was at school so I’m not going to attempt to do one here  Cheesy

I searched for bitcoin poems & found these - https://allpoetry.com/poems/about/bitcoin
Yours is better imo but just an example of others.
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto another form of gambling? on: July 01, 2023, 08:28:15 AM
Crypto is not gambling in a strict sense of the word. It is an investment, obviously shitcoins are much more risky to buy than established coins like bitcoin & eth so I can see why people would categorise that as gambling but it isn’t in a strict sense. Bitcoin has been around since 2009, it is actually becoming a more mature asset now, regulatory bodies class it as a commodity so it is definitely not gambling to buy bitcoin.
870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U.k Approves Cryptocurrency As A Regulated financial Activity. on: July 01, 2023, 07:59:48 AM
Regulation is good as long as it encourages growth & allows an asset & companies involved in it to thrive. Hopefully the UK don’t act like the US with their notorious SEC to stifle bitcoin & companies involved in it. Bitcoin is going to play a huge role in the future of finance so forward thinking, open minded governments can give themselves an advantage by being kind to bitcoin now. Hopefully the UK are going to work with us rather than against us for both theirs & our benefit.
871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be intimidated on: July 01, 2023, 07:48:02 AM
You should always do your own research & be confident enough to set your own risk level. Nobody else is in charge of your budget & how much you should invest. Having said that, you are on a bitcoin forum. People here love bitcoin so you are going to get positive comments on bitcoin & be advised to buy it. Nobody here benefits from one guy buying bitcoin unless it’s Saylor buying hundreds of thousands Smiley

Seriously though, bitcoin is a great inflation hedge, as the decades roll by you will always wish that you’d bought more so be sensible but buy a little regularly. You will be very happy in 25 years that you got into bitcoin. You don’t have to bankrupt yourself doing it but as part of a well managed & diversified portfolio, bitcoin is a must.
872  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you always think that a rich man's kids are the spoilt ones on: July 01, 2023, 07:32:42 AM
Not all wealthy peoples children are spoilt. Some of these guys worked very hard to be where they are & they demand the same work ethic & attitude from their children. I guess it can be tough to have a very successful Father as a kid because you are always in his shadow, being compared to him. Some rich people work so hard that their kids miss out on parental care so I guess it isn’t always great for them.
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy BNB? on: July 01, 2023, 04:09:33 AM
Now is not a good time to buy BNB, I just do not trust this token to have staying power. There is too much regulatory pressure on Binance from governments & authorities. BNB is at risk of being bullied into the ground by people like Gensler. I would personally avoid investing in BNB.
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be pulled by the hype of meme coins on: June 29, 2023, 09:27:27 AM
I bought PEPE & MONG close to their highs, I’m currently way underwater on them but it is what it is, you have to take a chance sometimes. I’ve said before I’ll just hodl them, will sell if they moon in the next moon shot. I woupd never put more than $1000 into these type of coins but sometimes it’s worth a shot.
875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much do you think Bitcoin will rise to in the next round of bull market? on: June 29, 2023, 08:07:14 AM
It’s really tough to make accurate predictions because so many things can happen that affect price, both good & bad. If I had to make predictions though I would say $75,000 in 2024 & $250,000 by the end of 2025. Do not trade with leverage based on my predictions, this is not financial advice & do your own research.
876  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Happy Eid-El-Kabir on: June 28, 2023, 10:58:14 AM

Happy Eid-El-Kabir.

May it be a great celebration for all my Muslim brothers & sisters.

Alhamdulillah.
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Return Of Terra Luna Classic on: June 28, 2023, 08:58:23 AM
Yeah, I've heard about it. I didn't think anyone cared, who would trust them after all that's happened?

Yeah, the old saying is very apt here, once bitten twice shy. I don’t think this will go well for people who decide to invest. There may be a fake pump, dead cat type situation but after what happened with the OG LUNA, where so many people lost so much money, this has no long term future of success & growth.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats going on with Bitcoin Cash BCH? on: June 27, 2023, 08:55:05 PM
It’s up over 110% in 2023 now but I don’t think anybody needs to be FOMO’ing in right now. It has low volume & low liquidity, I don’t trust pumps like this. It’s likely a small group of large bag holders pumping the price to lure people in. BCH is not a coin that I believe in personally but DYOR.
879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Buys Bitcoin When The Price is 100k$? on: June 27, 2023, 07:55:30 PM
$100,000 is nothing, it’s only just over 3 x from here. You don’t have to own 1BTC remember, you can buy fractions of a bitcoin, it’s about preserving your wealth & avoiding inflation. Bitcoin does a very good job of this, there will be many, many people buying bitcoin in the millions of dollar range, there is no doubt.
880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost coins redistribution on: June 24, 2023, 08:18:03 PM
I don’t think lost (idle) coins should be redistributed, no. Once you start doing that, the floodgates to all types of BS open. Bitcoin has a hard cap of 21,000,000 which is one of the features making it so unique. Who decides when coins get redistributed, what if coins not moved for the suggested 100 years are a family heirloom, that’s only 2 or 3 generations of HODLING & you want to take their coins away? It’s a terrible idea & hopefully it never gets seriously considered. one bitcoin is divisible to many decimal places, we do not need to destroy bitcoin by redistributing coins or lifting the 21,000,000 supply EVER.
