41  Economy / Economics / Re: What scares me from investing in gold. on: April 26, 2024, 10:20:41 AM
What should scare you from investing in gold is that it’s a prehistoric rock with an unknown supply cap. It doesn’t go up that much, you’d be lucky to make 20% profit over 10-15 years. Gold was a good investment 100 years ago, in the modern day Bitcoin is far superior.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Your aging and retirement plan is your responsibility. on: April 26, 2024, 10:04:25 AM
The sooner we realise that our governments don’t care about us the better off we will be. State pension is not enough to live on so I fully agree with the OP that your retirement plan is your responsibility. Look elsewhere for private pensions & other investments to ensure you can live a comfortable life in retirement.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Prioritizing strong foundation over quick gains on: April 24, 2024, 06:52:42 PM
Prioritising a strong foundation over quick gains in life is essential because it lays the groundwork for long term success & sustainability. Building a solid foundation ensures stability, resilience & the ability to withstand challenges or setbacks you could come across. Quick gains often lack stability & sustainability leading to potential instability & maybe failure in the future. By prioritising a strong foundation you can establish a solid base for growth, development & lasting achievements.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bull Run Approaching: Projects to Watch Besides ETH on: April 24, 2024, 10:11:48 AM
Option2Trade ($O2T) is a promising project, it’s currently in the presale period with a launch of May 20th.
https://option2tradepresale.com/

There are obviously more established altcoins to buy, as always Solana is expected to do well. I think it will actually give more profits than Ethereum. Memecoims will start mooning when Bitcoin explodes. As always though do your own research.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: It's better to invest now than to regret it in a hospital bed. on: April 24, 2024, 09:41:36 AM
Obviously good health is more important than any amount of money. Successful investments can really help you enjoy a  happier life though so I urge you to invest in Bitcoin. DCA in every month for many years & at retirement age you will have a considerable nest egg to enjoy life. There is no need to wait, do it now.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people are less likely to accept traditional employments in this era! on: April 24, 2024, 09:09:42 AM
Younger people are less likely to accept traditional employment probably because they value flexibility & work-life balance seeking greater control over their time & schedules. They prioritise personal growth & fulfilment opting for careers that align with their passions & values. Younger generations embrace technology & digital platforms, enabling them to work remotely & explore entrepreneurial ventures. Younger people are driven by a desire for autonomy, purpose & the ability to adapt to changing economic landscapes.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: Problems with a foreign partner on: April 23, 2024, 07:43:48 PM
There isn’t even close to enough information in the OP to decipher what type of help he needs. Sadly he’s going to have to go this one alone unless he provides more context to enable people to offer advice.
48  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Jill Biden is a Skanky WHORE on: April 20, 2024, 06:18:47 PM
We are all able to choose our own political beliefs but come on man, I am no fan of Biden but insulting his wife isn’t going to achieve anything is it. Let’s have some respect other peoples families, it isn’t good karma to be abusive about other mens wives.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin halving is hours ago. Will you hold your BTC to April 2028? on: April 20, 2024, 11:47:58 AM
I will do what I do during every bull run, I’ll sell some, try to create some passive income with that & buy back in the bear market with what’s left. I’m well versed in how cycles work by now. My advice is never sell more than 60% of your main stack though, ever. HODL the rest to the grave.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is investing into pepe coin at this time a wise decision? on: April 20, 2024, 11:29:31 AM
If, you mean WHEN Bitcoin rises to $100,000 right? When Bitcoin starts its big post halving run up, which may take 3-6 months or more, yes most altcoins will rise a lot too. I’m not giving you financial advice but PEPE could be a good short term buy & hold, ready to dump at some stage in 2025 for big profits.
51  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Now we can sue the Covid vaxx manufactures because of impurities in the vaxxes. on: April 20, 2024, 10:57:37 AM
I personally decided not to get vaccinated & I do not regret that decision at all. I’m not going to criticise anybody for their decisions though, we all do what we think is right at the time. I will be very surprised if people are able to successfully win lawsuits regarding damages or effectiveness of the vaccines.
52  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin’s bull run coming to an end? on: April 20, 2024, 08:53:16 AM
The price fell by 3.78% today,Current price $61748.But it’s still a price I can’t afford

Tell me you’re a noob without telling me you’re a noob. Come on man, this is embarrassing, Bitcoins volatility is a feature not a bug & a 3.78% dip is nothing. The block reward halving has only just passed, the bull run has barely even started, don’t talk stupid.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: The collapse of central banks...Inevitable? on: April 19, 2024, 07:46:51 PM
The collapse of Central Banks is not necessarily inevitable but their stability can be challenged by many factors such as economic crises, political instability or even changes in global financial systems. Cryptocurrencies have gained popularity & offer certain advantages, it is unlikely that they will completely replace traditional banks. Cryptocurrencies face challenges like regulatory concerns, scalability issues & the need for widespread adoption.
They can coexist with traditional banking systems & contribute to innovation in the financial sector. Always monitor these developments & try to adapt accordingly to ensure financial stability in the future.
54  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Time to Invest and Hodl - Bitcoin, Silver, Gold, etc. on: April 19, 2024, 07:39:56 PM
Now is definitely the time to invest in Bitcoin, realistically you should have been doing so for many years but if you weren’t able to then now is the best time to. I will pass on the silver & good though, their returns have been quite pathetic for two decades now. Bitcoin is the best option in all ways.
55  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nothing is impossible on: April 19, 2024, 07:21:53 PM
Life is full of success stories from strong, dedicated people who fight against adversity to achieve their goals. I know what happened in his personal life tarnished his legacy but the disabled sprinter Oscar Pistorius is also a real life super hero story, his success on the track is amazing. I think if you are determined in life& dedicate your life to something you can overcome many obstacles. The boy in the OP’s story is also a hero, I’m happy for him.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge day!!. Expectations??? on: April 19, 2024, 07:11:24 PM
I don’t expect much to happen on Doge Day. Dogecoin like most altcoins tends to follow the path of Bitcoin. There is no doubt that Dogecoin will pump hard within 18 months but don’t expect anything interesting to happen on 20th April, it will likely be a nothingness.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Also consider your mental State of health while investing for wealths. on: April 19, 2024, 06:37:07 PM

What did we expect? Mental health has been always overlooked by most often pushing it to the side and saying that it is not real and all we need is a little more determination and motivation but it is not that easy. We need to build perseverance above all especially when we are dealing in high pressure environments.

I think we have come a long way in modern times. There is more of an awareness & acceptance of mental health issues now. There is a slogan, ‘its ok not to be ok’ which I think is a good statement regarding mental health issues. Regarding the statement in the OP though, obviously you shouldn’t make investments & take risks when you are not in a good place mentally, it could have disastrous effects.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there really a future for young individuals in web3 ? on: April 17, 2024, 11:06:19 AM
There is a promising future in Web3 for young people. Web3 tech such as blockchain & decentralised apps offer new opportunities for innovation, entrepreneurship & economic empowerment. These technologies enable greater transparency, ownership & control over digital assets creating a more inclusive & equitable digital economy. Young people can participate in building & shaping the Web3 ecosystem, using their skills in areas like coding, design & community building. With the potential for decentralised finance, gaming, social media & more, Web3 presents exciting possibilities for young people to thrive & make a meaningful impact.
59  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Governments projecting war and having lives of the innocents at stake on: April 17, 2024, 10:55:43 AM
I don’t know what to believe any more, who started hostilities, who is at fault etc. All I know is that I am sick of conflict around the world, needless deaths because of volatile leaders who can’t just be submissive & stop bombing people. We really do not need another major war so hopefully sense is seen ASAP.
60  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why democracy is stalling in Africa on: April 17, 2024, 09:19:50 AM
Democracy in Africa faces challenges from authoritarian regimes, weak institutions, corruption, economic instability, inequality, ethnic divisions & external interference. Strengthening institutions, promoting inclusive governance, tackling corruption & prioritising socioeconomic development is crucial for sustaining democracy. In comparison to say, 100 years ago, progress has been made.
