American here. What makes the Muslims and Christians unite against Modi and the BJP?  Are they denied political patronage due to religion? Or ... something else?

Nopes,Not exactly the case.

Actually BJP is regarded as political wing of the Rashtriya_Swayamsevak_Sangh that talk about Hindutva and ask for spreading the Hindu culture. (But it does not means that are harming other communities like Muslim and Christians.)

Even Current prime minister is also the member of RSS too but it does not means that they are not secular or India is not a secular state.

Most of allegations are politically motivated, show fear to other caste that if party believing in Hindu culture  come into the power then it will make life of other communities as hell.

In last 5 years ,(this government is re elected), I did not see any caste promoting politics from the government, they are able to curb the corruption and price inflation and shown much more will power/stand regarding to their foreign policies and this is the main region that government get reelected with more seats than last time.

PS: BJP do have muslims leaders in party.

This is fourth or fifth  website I encountered that is based on million dollar homepage.

Guys, Use your brain to create something innovative, instead of copying the same idea again and again.
103  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone is selling green rating (DT) on: May 26, 2019, 03:59:16 AM
The real point is that in these cases this type of setup is used to extort money. Suppose user "A" has some reputable account and user "A" decided to contact with the scammer. Then scammer will save the proof and demand payment because scammer threaten to destroy the User "A" reputation with the proof.

In, second case, even if scammer do not threaten but you are already scammed and you will not show the proof that you are attempting to do something like this.

I understand that forum do not moderate scam but threads of Merit selling/Account selling/Trust selling should be trashed in this forum.
104  Economy / Services / Re: [HIRE] Looking for American/Canadian people for English recording. on: May 26, 2019, 03:07:41 AM
Good news,  Sasha from their team has indeed responded to me asking for my btc address to pay me shortly with.  Will update when the payment comes though.  Smiley

Just post, when you get  the payment, I will remove my neg from OP trust wall.
I got my payment.  0.0025 btc as stated on the thread.  Actually went up in value while I waited so I'm not upset at all.
Thank you to Sasha and anyone else in their team (even if you're one of those who didn't want to check my work so she could pay me! xD)

Hahah, we resolved the issue and it's all good know. We paid back to Sasha, she won't spend her own money anymore.

Great, I understand the business can have some issues but a proper communication should be done to avoid these kind of issues.
I removed my neg also.
105  Other / Meta / Re: Getting rid of this "stake.com" spam shit o n my avatar and sig on: May 26, 2019, 02:53:25 AM
I think account might be changing hands from long time. I do not expect somebody having 8 BTC in wallet will go on blindly for stake sig campaign.

OP also did not come back to enlighten us about this whole "stake" episode.
106  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Crypto wallet, Scam Token Alert on: May 26, 2019, 02:38:30 AM
<…>
Actually, according to their website (Getting Started section), they advertise a 6% to 12% monthly earning for using their wallet to keep your crypto. So that’s a whooping 72% to 144% per year. Great, retirement on the horizon! … or is it another bunch of years of work to make-up for the losses once they decide to pack it all up and be off with all the wallet allocated crypto …

You need to upload a minumum of 500$ worth of crypto to start earning the astronomical figures, where the income you get is based on recruitment. Rings a bell?

I’ve found three or four articles clamming it’s a scam, taking a look at the token, team, promoters and so on. Honestly, just looking at the proposal in terms of ROI is so absurd that there is no real need to dig any further ...

No idea, how many fell for it and put their retirement fund in these kind of scheme. I generally used to think people are smart enough and do not invest in these schemes until one day I met with a guy that invested .5 BTC in such kind of schemes.
107  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [BEWARE] Sim Port Attack on: May 26, 2019, 02:32:25 AM
I will like to reply all you guys that are saying it is identity breach or it major security flaw in provider service.
~
So anybody who has eavesdropped you can successfully do this attack without having any kind of your physical  identity.
imo it's a security flaw in the the sim card replacement procedure,
a simple confirmation call from provider to old sim card should help mitigate this attack
if this can't be done, then it requires "a personal visit to store and proof of identity" like Lucius said

They should be, but they heavily rely on last 4 digit of SSN. If your last 4 digit of SSN become public a lot of  attacks like (sim port), I guess can be successfully launched.

If by chance , if your all 10 digit of SSN are known, then somebody will able to take the bank loan on it. (Again no physical identity paper (SSN) required.
108  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 2019 Indian general election on: May 26, 2019, 02:26:09 AM

And the less talked about Rahul G, that better. He is beyond any hope and I seriously think that he is suffering from some sort of mental disease.

He has no interest in politics and he like to enjoy the secret vacation in italy(or whatever part of world) with his girlfriend.

NDA has inched close to their target of 50% vote share during this election. As per the latest estimates, they polled around 47% of the vote. In the Hindi heartland, they polled between 60% and 70% in many of the constituencies. With the opposition in such a weak state, I don't think that they'll be able to even put up a fight in 2024.

If they continue to give a corruption free government , working towards the development ,they will win again. But frankly speaking nothing is guaranteed. Instead of all the progressive idea Atal bihari bought that time,he still lost the elections . (may be onion price issue.)
109  Other / Meta / Re: Infographic Stealing on: May 26, 2019, 02:11:22 AM

Copy pasting good work (and providing useful LINK) from people that could contribute to a place isn't that bad imo, just know where to post such things and where to avoid, but if I see a good thing on twitter or somewhere, then I rather copy paste + provide a link then turn around the words and make it something of my own...
To find something that could lead to an interesting discussion isn't that bad imo, when I do such things I also only do it where its appreciated...

Sometimes the posted thing could be a question as well, just to know how other respecter members thinking about that matter, so isn't it better to post it like that with a link rather then making it up yourself?

Copy pasting for a sake of starting a discussion and adding your view is  much different then the just copy paste image and put source link.
If forum allows this then their lot of user that just paste image/text and put source underneath. Mods always delete this post when reported.

Allowing these post will just flood bitcointalk from all kind of information from outside without any discussion happening in this forum.

But you will be always welcome to discuss the news/outside information if you really have to add something in it.

I will like to read a fair evaluation of this game and some strategy for playing this game.
111  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Advice] Keep Records of Telegram Chats on: May 26, 2019, 12:18:29 AM
I think If you are serious in business then you should maintain log in forum .(if  you do not want to divulge the detail of deal then just post that you are dealing with other user without giving specifics.)
For closing the deal just ask the signed message (impersonation is also a big problem now.) Any third party tool in which you are not able to identify properly/not able to store proof should be avoided.
112  Economy / Services / Re: Need Crypto Writers for Our Blog on: May 25, 2019, 11:51:38 PM
Even if somebody charges .01$ per word then still it is only 100 word article and IMHO writing services are much costlier than this.
113  Other / Meta / Re: Infographic Stealing on: May 25, 2019, 11:35:46 PM
I'm thinking if stealing of infographics with or without a source is considered as plagiarism?
Without a source - definitely plagiarism. With a source - not plagiarism, but kind of scummy in my opinion.

Simply copy and pasting someone else's work, adding nothing of your own, and slapping a reference link on the bottom, whilst not plagiarism is pretty low behavior my opinion. You see it all the time across the forum; people posting entire news articles, blog posts, medium posts, etc., written by someone else, and not even adding a single sentence of their own thoughts. The same thing could happen with infographics, although it is much less common than the other categories I mentioned. Providing a source means they won't get banned, but I still think it's a pretty scummy thing to do and obviously only for padding post count and/or fishing for merits.

Edit: I accidentally a word

If somebody just posted a infographics with a link then you can report it as low quality post. Mods generally trash these threads (from my personal experience.)
114  Other / Meta / Re: Ban Appeal for over 5-year old account on: May 25, 2019, 04:55:53 PM
That is quick hilariousandco.

OP, I am wondering what happen to Merit sources when they got ban. You still able to use your smerits or it is disabled for you now?
115  Economy / Services / Re: Get 5 BTC for proof who Game Protect scammed and for how much? [CLOSED] on: May 25, 2019, 02:24:37 PM
And no came here either with proof also that you are clean. Any business running on anonymous entity is a sure shot scam business.
Show us who own this business and where are you registered that allow you to do business?
116  Other / Meta / Re: [BAN] Sr. Member tvplus006 - 459 merits [all earned] on: May 25, 2019, 12:55:25 AM
Other unban appeal thread started by russian community exist below:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5143666.0

There is convincing answer in the thread why you get banned.

According to the rules the member bitcointalk forum is banned by 80% of errors (Plagiarism), 20% with other factors.
Most likely an account: ( tvplus006 ), Prohibited based on the results below: Topic: Ban evasion/bounty abuse I hope this can answer about your account being banned.

That topic did not concluded that tvplus is evading ban or abusing bounty.
117  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Google suspends Huawei's Android support on: May 24, 2019, 06:18:24 PM
Just imagine this for counter measure from Chinese government. Just not to buy Coca Cola for single day just one day. Think that thing would rapidly turn the tide cuz it would be loss for around 150 mill on single day.

I read years ago that they were just selling a knock-off/imitation Coke in China. Same design, etc, but no permission from Coca-Cola. Are they already selling legit Coca-Cola coke there now?  Grin

They are selling fake/cheap copies of everything. I am just waiting to see how this will turn in future.
Can anybody really stand against Chinese trade  or ban overall chinese traade?
118  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 2019 Indian general election on: May 24, 2019, 05:52:35 PM
When they have EVM then they will do these again and again on the upcoming elcetions.

May be you are frustrated by outcome but stop blaming the Election Commission. EC is not at all politically inclined and motivated.

Can't believe Smriti Irani won against Rahul too.

May be Rahul knows the outcome beforehand that's why he contested election from 2 seats.
119  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [BEWARE] Sim Port Attack on: May 24, 2019, 05:37:37 PM
I will like to reply all you guys that are saying it is identity breach or it major security flaw in provider service.

Let me explain you how the provider services generally work in USA.

In USA every individual have Social Security Number (SSN) it is 10 digit number and confidentiality of this number need to be maintained.
In some  case where you were asked of SSN, then it is the last 4 digit of SSN (instead of full 10).

So phone providers in US verify you by asking your name, DOB and last 4 digit of SSN. If you made this call in public, somebody can easily eavesdrop this data. By your name and DOB it will be very easy to find the phone number.

So anybody who has eavesdropped you can successfully do this attack without having any kind of your physical  identity.

(This is IMHO based on my experience  though I never did simport but successfully  closed phone numbers and started new number by just a phone call.)
