Thanks, sorry for the outburst. I was a bit flustered over the whole effort. They're meeting sometime tomorrow in the #launch channel. Euro time probably. They're going to go over the mining pow period and possibly increase rewards. I'll keep you all posted here when that will start so you can get in on it if it is worth your time.

I wish I could give you a better prediction on release, but I can't. The launch team still needs to deliver that code and that could be today or a week from now. Richy is in talks with them on it. After that is a 1-2 week PoW to PoS closed burn to 20160 blocks. During that time the Core Team (not me) will talk with Cryptopia and set a launch date. I'm not in those Core Team meetings, so I can only give you info I have on hand. As soon as the ball moves further I'll drop a note or Teela will drop one here.

yes, final touches are being put in place. Really, it's all done. Only major pieces are some peer review and replacing the SeeSaw masternode payment mechanism. Minor stuff that should be completed in a day or two.

We have some friends from Phore double-checking the code in the next week or so. They'll help guide us through launch on Cryptopia. Testnet is just running so folks can play around, test masternodes, find bugs, etc. It will be running as long as the coin is live or I get tired of paying for servers.

Never really died, but changed ownership, sort of. Community banded together to move it forward and we're close to producing a live product. As stated  above, Karma will drop a new ANN when he has dates, complete partnership details, etc. It won't be far off. We'll drop it here as well, so you all are up to date of what is going on. As for a working wallet you can download our current version and try it out on testnet. https://github.com/heliumchain/helium/releases/tag/v0.14.1 lists the Windows and Mac binaries. I'll be working on a deb package for Linux this week. If you want to participate on Testnet make sure to add testnet=1 in the helium.conf file (%APPDATA%/Helium - Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/Helium on Mac and .helium on Linux.) You can also edit these files directly via the client.

We are wrapping up the work on the Treasury which is the last major milestone for the code. I expect that to be knocked out in the next few days. Karma is going to announce a new partnership which will be accompanied by a new ANN thread, because this was started by Coins and he went AWOL last year. We're getting some dev help from Richy's friends at Phore to help us through the Cryptopia listing and any gotchas that they experienced releasing Phore. There's really not much left for launch unless Cryptopia comes back with a lot of stuff to do. I don't think they will, because we have tested in mainnet and have an active testnet going and all is going according to plan. I know you all would love a date and I would love to provide it, but I really don't see this taking any more than a month to go live. We'll post the new ANN in here when Karma puts it up.

that video is something else. High douchery all around. Who knows what will happen here. I've completed my input into the codebase. There's some treasury work to do. If we were doing what those dbags did in the video then it'd be a 5 minute change. I'm not justifying the long wait. Unfortunately, when you have some folks contributing that are doing this on a volunteer basis other priorities trump work on this effort. It also isn't motivating for me to work on it considering nearly 90% or more of folks will dump their product the moment it releases.Why spend what little time I have left working for that goal?

We're finishing running through our test cases. It's challenging but the community has come together to help out. Karma has some Enterprise news in a week or two. Development should be done this week barring any weird issues. We tested mainnet before and everything worked as it should. Richy will start working with Cryptopia and then we'll have a realistic launch date.
