101  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying goods on Amazon using Bitcoin on: January 23, 2017, 09:52:53 AM
As others have mentioned, purse makes it somewhat possible.... but it ruins the best part about Amazon: almost instant shopping.
There's a delay to have your order fulfilled, and often it turns out that it gets rejected.

Gift card websites are decent, as you end up just using the Amazon interface then. You won't get discounts like you do from Purse, but it is less shady, and much faster.
102  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the best place for current BtC price? on: January 23, 2017, 09:50:20 AM
If you just want fast info, try either bitcoinaverage.com or preev.com

The former averages all exchanges by volume, and has a listing of prices on them, which can be helpful if you are looking to buy some Bitcoin and need to check the rates across different exchanges.

Also, preev is just the fastest loading, most lightweight one imo. Easy to quickly check and close if you need that too.
103  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam alert : Do NOT INVEST in Genesis Mining on: January 23, 2017, 09:38:17 AM
I just logged on after a while and noticed a PM asking me to remove an unrelated positive trust I left them. But I'm not going to do so, because they aren't scamming to the best of my knowledge.

Even without cloud mining, a lot of last-gen mining rigs that are still being sold would not break even. Does that mean that their sellers are scamming too?

Saying that they are scamming/committing fraud would imply that they are misrepresenting what they are providing the user. But to the best of my knowledge, they are giving users exactly what they sign on for.

Is investing with them a bad idea? Probably, but then so would be almost any other form of mining.
Mining, cloud or otherwise, has been a bad idea for all but the tiniest minority of people for quite a while.
Telling people to not mine is one thing, but telling them that they are being scammed by choosing something that has had a negative ROI for a long long time, is just shifting the blame away from the users who jump on the hype train.
104  Economy / Gambling / Re: Boiled Brains - new game on: October 21, 2016, 10:30:11 PM
I've not tried the game yet, but here is some feedback on the initial screen:

Change this:

To this:

To make it more obvious that it is an email and password field

Code:
<input type="text" name="name" id="email">
<input type="password" name="password" id="password">

to

Code:
<input type="text" name="name" id="email" placeholder="Email address">
<input type="password" name="password" id="password" placeholder="Password">

Change the instructions too.
English clearly isn't your first language, but if you hire someone who natively speaks English, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Currently, it is rather hard to understand the instructions.
105  Economy / Services / Re: JAVA+MATH EXAM [PAYING BTC] on: October 18, 2016, 11:17:12 PM
I'll complete it right now, and I'll post some images of how it looks running.
Send me a PM with what proof of completion you'll need.
Code will be given upon 50% payment with rest of payment after verification.

Completed, proof:

Basic invalid data catching:

They look really cool!
Can I test out one of the review copies?
107  Economy / Services / Re: Spam me with your cheap VPN deals/offers on: October 17, 2016, 11:44:40 PM
Mullvad is really good honestly; also they keep no record of your information so if they were ever summoned to give up information they have none.  Additionally you don't log in for it or sign up, you get an account number and a btc deposit address for your account number (keep this information).

This is standard operating procedure for most VPNs now..
And tbh, even adding an email address doesn't change much as you usually definitely make a burner email address for the first time use to get your account number.
108  Economy / Services / Re: Spam me with your cheap VPN deals/offers on: October 17, 2016, 06:18:07 PM
Does PIA support Proxies? I have read somewhere that they do, how does it work? Can you order proxies with the VPN?

Not as far as I know.

But I do know that they satisfy the three conditions you asked for.
They have a huge list of IPs (I've used it to troll a friends IRC chatroom after getting IP banned like a dozen times) and are really fast: it is generally as fast as my connection without a VPN.
109  Economy / Gambling / Re: LOLI.CENTER - Addictive on: October 17, 2016, 05:38:13 PM

Where is gambling site?

He seems to have figured out loans are better for scamming than gambling.

He's posted about it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1651863.0

I'd normally say that I expect nobody to use it but seeing that some people randomly decided to spend on an unknown gambling site, I wouldn't be too surprised.
110  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Alanay's Bank Service on: October 17, 2016, 05:35:13 PM
Since what you're doing is exactly taking and giving loans, doing this on the lending sub forum might make more sense.

Not sure if your negative trust is going to convince anyone to deposit money with you though...
111  Economy / Gambling / Re: LOLI.CENTER - Addictive on: October 17, 2016, 05:33:19 PM
I'm not really sure if there's a legitimate reason for him to do that
The account he has just made has.... 5 posts, and was made yesterday...

The only reason I'd see for him to keep the account and try to regain trust was if he wanted to make loli.center an actual site... and even in that case he could just rebrand as something else.

Alanay is his primary account as far as I can tell and also has a ruined trust rating now. It is not a valuable identity, but still slightly more painful to lose.

Again, he could buy an account with equivalent age and member standing for almost nothing.
Unless that account has some sort of other value to him or if he's somehow scammed less than a few mbtc to even buy another account.
112  Economy / Gambling / Re: LOLI.CENTER - Addictive on: October 17, 2016, 09:58:06 AM
What I am unsure is of the scam accusation by Ryan without seeing any scam accusation on the forum. Am I missing something ?

The site owner was bragging on bustabit about it being a scam and fooling people into depositing. However, he's had a change of heart and decided to repay people he scammed in exchange for me removing his trust, so if he does indeed repay people I will change my trust to neutral in exchange.

(And if you lost money to this scam, make sure to send me the txid and amount -- so I can make sure you get paid back before I remove my neg trust)

It's not ideal what I'm doing, but I'd like to see everyone who lost money to him get it back -- and I like to think the OP has learnt his lesson, and won't scam in the future.

I'm not really sure if there's a legitimate reason for him to do that

I've used PIA before and can definitely recommend it.

I remember getting a reddit deal for something like 10-15% extra off, and then getting another discount offer when I didn't renew after my subscription ended.

Also, if you're looking for even cheaper though, there's likely many many more. You may want to try: https://www.reddit.com/r/vpncoupons
114  Economy / Services / Re: $3.0 if you reach Full Member on: October 17, 2016, 09:42:01 AM
3$ for 300 posts is around 0.000016 BTC per post

There are open Newbie signature campaigns on bitcointalk that offer you more than thrice that amount. And that is not taking into account the fact that you'll get paid more as your rank increases, and you're more likely to get paid (ahem waiting 300 posts till you get paid is dodgy)
115  Economy / Services / Re: small tasks on my website! on: October 17, 2016, 09:38:21 AM
I can offer something similar to mocacinno...

I've not used PHP much before, but can probably help you for free if it is made with Django or any form of JS or is some sort of Java web app.

This all sounds very trivial, and looks like it'll take just a few seconds.

Ill message Namworld tomorrow if WD arent processed by then. In the past WD have been by monday evening so lets wait and see what happens. Let me know if you guys arent processed in the next 12-24 hours.

I got my withdrawal processed just a few minutes ago (just heard my blockchain.info beep).
So if there still is any issue it is localized to a few users I guess
117  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Unlimited 4G LTE Data Smartphone/Hotspot Forever- It's.....Magicphone! on: October 16, 2016, 09:33:22 AM
I figured you guys would click through to my other forum post, I'm looking for $430, but I am negotiable since this is my first posting here.

Most people won't because reputation elsewhere has zero value here. This is a different community, with different rules. Welcome to cryptos, Smiley.

Makes sense, but judging by the views on this thread in the past 2 days, giving out a vouch for free, and getting 0 sales from this thread doesn't seem economical to me, but I'll hang around for a little longer to determine if it makes sense.

I also have eBay reviews, but I presume those don't matter either, oh woe is me.

I've requested vouch copies in the past for things, but I think it's getting ridiculous when people expect a vouch copy of a 430$ item... that's like the price of a new phone...

Anyways, on topic, is there any time-frame for which you guarantee the functioning of this plan?
118  Economy / Services / Re: hire me to do your Computer Science homework and assignments on: October 15, 2016, 06:27:47 AM
In some ways your service is quite good but i would disagree on this kind of service especially if you accept projects from students it is very unethical for me because those students won't able to learn at all.

Well, the point of homework isn't to teach you a lesson, it's just repetitive, mundane, and is a better assessment of how well you can follow instructions and repeat shit, than an assessment of your learning

but how about a project? I my self can say that yes i also do hate homework but in terms of projects i take that one as an opportunity to broaden my knowledge in chosen courses because we must accept the fact the lessons being taught in schools are very limited.

Still often repetitive tbh.
I had a class where we had to construct methods to draw a bunch of letters using turtle graphics a while ago (intro CS class)
It was absurdly easy, and everyone understood what to do after a few minutes, but had to do the same thing over and over for hours.
I've always had sufficient free time so I've done it myself anyways, but I could see cases where you would pay someone else to do it and not lose anything.

Can you also help with math homework? Like college level calc?

I'm not OP, but PM'd
119  Economy / Services / Re: Looking Beta Game Tester Online (UK Only) 25GBP equivalent of btc on: October 15, 2016, 04:38:07 AM
Hi,
I'm a UK resident and would be willing rondo this for you. However, given your current trust I would only be prepared to do this if payment is made first or escrowed by a member we both agree on.
Let me know if this works for you.
Thanks Smiley

My trust!!! Thanks to that bastard! Suchmoon or what do you call him - tried to sell my stealth paypal and badaboom! Neg trust - ayayai #SMH Anyways would be in touch mate!

Even without the negative trust, you've not been on these forums for long enough to be trusted to uphold your end of the 100 GBP end of the bargain.

I think you would get responses more frequently if you edit escrow info into the original post.
