DISCLAIMER : THESE CALCULATIONS ARE KINDA RANDOM ( But still better than all the "1"s so far)
Lets base Bitcoin's adoption on the number of forum users.
There are 7 billion people on earth , so 1 on your scale is one adopter and 100 is 7 billion adopters.
If we use a logarithmic scale of base 10, we could say:-
7 billion = 10^9.845
Now , we can say that currently , there are around 300,000 users on this forums. Assuming that they are the only people using Bitcoin :-
300,000 = 10^5.477
That means we would rank 5.477/9.845 = 55 on your scale.
All this assumes that we use a logarithmic scale , which I find appropriate as it is the scale we usually use when we compare BTC price since the beginning (again , this assumes price is directly proportional to number of adopters)

So, basically Bitcoin is going against the widely believed principal that a small amount of inflation is required to expedite economic growth ?
Can somebody give me more reasons , or give me a decent reading list to why a deflationary system is superior ? I can already see negative effects of it , as most people already don't spend much of their Bitcoin due to their perception of it primarily as an investment.

Can someone explain to me :- 1- Why mild inflation (2.5%) is beneficial to an economy ? Has been answered repeatedly 2- If mild inflation is beneficial , shouldn't Bitcoin , as a deflationary currency , be counter-intuitive ? I'm looking for more current examples where despite deflation in a field (The same amount of fiat buying more goods), consumer spending is high. One case submitted is :- It means, that the same laptop you would have bought in 2004 for 500$ now you can buy for 50$, or you can buy a 10 times faster laptop for the same 500$. The purchasing power of your dollar increased for the same technological level, or you can get a 10 times better technological product for the same price!

180 days release date is far to long.
I don't think we should be trying to emulate PayPal. Paypal has it's benefits but I don't think they should be implemented with bitcoin. I'm sure there will be payment processors that you can use that will be just like PP, though I hear they're looking into implementing bitcoin but not sure in what capacity.
Sarcasm does not flow through the internet. Use /s or just say something like "We should totally implement an awesome system , not unlike the one owned by Paypal"

It says that once a sum of 10 BTC has been paid to jambola2 , all Mt. Gox funds will be returned to rightful owners.
Seriously though , the bottom right reads out "The English translation of this document prepared for reference is described in the following pages"
Check the next page.

What chances of wining do you have with your strategy?
Doubling deposit (when I take my time) would be around 65% of the time successful. Since this is a risky investment (65 % chance) , this is categorized as gambling. Please move this to the gambling subforums.

Floord-1 speaks in Haiku I guess bluefirecorp: This is very likely to be illegal , almost definitely , but admins will not demand proof of legitimacy or ban him unless there is no possible scenario where his goods are legitimate. This makes sense too , and user privacy is never breached until completely necessary. I would suggest you leave our poetic friend some negative rep if you believe his actions are illegitimate. Don't expect any official action.

It would be best if you edited your OP to include your rates and maximum posts in an easier to understand manner. You could then submit your campaign to the signature campaign overview thread :- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0Secondly , try to highlight what makes your campaign superior to PD. Maybe give a small boost of 0.0001 per post , which would not affect your bankroll much , but help you get more applicants. Currently it looks shadier , with a seemingly insignificant bonus of 0.01 BTC , which most Senior/Hero members would sacrifice in return for being able to deal with a well reputed signature campaign owner.

Newb with 11 previous posts. Suuuure , you are definitely not a shill account. Everyone can totally trust the OP now.

I have enrolled for this campaign on the form , it would be great if you could affirm this. Thanks, Jambola2

I'm confused whether this is permanently closed or the sum-up rule has been removed. The first post looks the same, without the sum-up rule. If it is completely closed , please update the original post and title to reflect the same.
I have received my payment of 0.6 BTC and would like to thank you for this opportunity to be part of your signature campaign.
Thanks, Jambola2

this is the correct place!
No, the correct place for this is BetMoose - you can still create your own bet, but you use a trusted and transparent 3rd party escrow instead of soliciting funds straight from members on the forums. *Shameless self advertising*

I recently got offered a repayment a second time. He claims it is a token of apology , but accepting any payment him could have consequences. He could use the repayment and acceptance of that repayment to falsely convince people that he is not a scammer. As soon as I warned potential signature buyers of his reputation for scamming , he replied and locked the thread to prevent anyone from responding. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=667944.msg7580357#msg7580357Consider this an update as well as a bump , TheGambler may prowl again.

I don't understand how odds are on our side.
If you have a 60% chance of giving us 150% , that makes it 90% expected value. If you gave us 166% of the winnings , it would be EV neutral.
Example :- You take 10$ per person from 100 people. You give 60 people 15$ You give 40 people nothing. You have given away 900$ and still have 100$ , without doing anything.
TLDR ; This is EV negative , basically a casino with no trust or no provably fair status.

I'd recommend this service if you want a hundred posts attempting to scam users , with your advertisement under it ! Even if he puts your advertisement under his signature for free , it will only bring a bad reputation to your company , after people see advertisement under scam services and loans with no offered collateral.

You could lock your post instead. The button appears at the bottom of any thread you have started

I could care less about the SPAMMING mod. He has the power to ban me and i have the power to create another account therefore the only problem he can cause me is a MINOR setback of creating a new account. He is Worthless and his power is very limited. I'm ready to log onto my next account if this one gets banned no big deal.
your opinion means squat just like his authority.
Piss off
You're really really wrong. You can also get IP ban that will prevent you from creating and logging to ANY account. IIRC , theymos said that he would not divulge IP information unless legally bound to do so.

This is the campaign overview , with all campaigns mentioned :- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0FXOpen , XBTec , 777Coin , UpDown.BT and PD offer per post payment. They offer max posts varying from 400 to 600 per month , meaning you will earn from 0.4 BTC to 0.81 BTC per month UpDown.BT has been inactive for a couple weeks though , so FXOpen can earn you the most at 0.65 BTC for 500 posts if you convince them to allow you in. The rest of the campaigns offer from 0.09 to 0.15 BTC per month , but not sufficient for your post quantity. Your best bet would be to talk to the owner of any of the aforementioned campaigns and offer them around 1500-2000 posts for 1 BTC. 1.5 BTC seems far-fetched for your current post count , non-hero status and the fact that your employer won't know how constructive your posts will be. I'm not saying that you have any nonconstructive posts so far , but I'm not sure any escrow will be willing to settle disputes on whether payment is deserved or not due to posting.
