541  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for members who wants to get paid per post on: October 29, 2014, 08:55:00 PM
I am in need of genuine users with over 60+ activity who are interested in a new service which i will pay 0.00012 per post for sr. members or 0.00008 for full members. 0.00002 for members. PM me if you are interested. You must have clear interest in cryptocurrency and alt coins!

Do not bother joining if you have negative trust! or with less then 60 activity

Are you sure you have not added an extra zero somewhere ?

PrimeDice used to offer around 0.001 BTC per Sr. Member post, around 8 times more.

A senior member can get around 0.1 BTC per month if he uses an average fixed payment campaign. That senior member would need OVER EIGHT HUNDRED posts to get the same amount in your campaign.

Full members and Members earn around 0.05 BTC per month in a fixed payment campaign, meaning it would take around SIX HUNDRED posts by a Full member or TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED by a Member to get the same in your campaign.

TL;DR: Too low payments, you would need hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of posts with your signature to get as much as only fifty posts in another campaign.

The sample you had given is not good in any way.

It has no animation, just flashing images.

Even for flashing images, there is no effort to any sort of design, with random unrelated images.

You don't seem to have rights for the pictures, the image of Fred Flintstone has some sort of watermark if you look at it closely.

Learn how to animate and then come back, maybe when you know English too.

It could be that the maximum profit is low since the 'pot' is so small, since so few actual customers exist at Bikinidice at the moment.  I get this idea from the dooglas thread when he was running his dice shop, he had a high roller come in and started making really big bets.  They had to limit the number and/or size of bets since this guy was making the system unstable.  So perhaps in a smaller way it's the same at Bikinidice.  No customers means small max profit?

It's wise to limit you max profit to 1% of your bankroll or less, or you risk going bust.

Our winning high roller made me panic and reduce the max profit from 1% of the site's bankroll to 0.25% for a few days until the bankrollers persuaded me to put it up to 0.5%, where it stayed until we shut down.

doog, how about there's a small option in the "fund the bankroll" tab, where you can chose anywhere from 0.1% to 5%, in 0.1% increments? (And I was going to default it to 1.5%, to match my theme.)

That sounds awesome.

That would be equivalent to setting your gamble size when you invest.

Eg : Investor 1 invests 10 BTC maximum 0.5% per bet, Investor 2 invests 1 BTC, maximum 5% per bet. This adds up to 0.1 BTC maximum bet, and you could then create "effective investment" which would be maximum profit pet bet * investment size. This would mean profit/loss would be split across "effective investment", allowing investors to gain more or less, depending on their taste for risk.

You could possibly allow things to go way out of the wack, allowing max profit from 0.01% to 100% (0.01 % would need a minimum effective investment or something to be set ?)

Or you could, you know, address my criticism and tell me how it's fair that investors bear almost all the risk while you reap almost all the profit. That ought to be good.

We chosen this investment plan because we do not want to give money like a gift.
Our investment system does not promise 30,000% profit.

We believe that a 1,2,3,4,5 % profit in a few months it's good.
We never promise easy money.

No other dice site offers "30,000% profit", but your system is plain and simple cheating.

You risk nothing, while gaining the house edge that would come out of investing 100 BTC.

However, I doubt that this is malice, but pure and simple incompetence.

At best Bikinidice is a just another Bitcoin dice site, no different from the competition.  At worse it is a small-time scam.

At best Bikinidice is a Bitcoin dice site run by an incompetent owner who knows nothing better than a PHP random function. At worst it is a scam that makes Ponzis seem well planned.

Whichever way, the owner has only put any effort on the "Bikini" of BikiniDice.

Grin Grin Grin

If anyone has suggestions to improve our investors system PM me

Back up your 1000 shares with real BTC maybe ?

Dooglus had mentioned this earlier too, with the fact that you earn majority of the profit without staking anything.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 6 Bitcoins to invest on: October 24, 2014, 10:50:17 PM
Perfect! oh Wait, isn't that what dice.ninja and dicebitco said, before running off with 2K btc from investors?

Yes, dicebitcoi.in and dice.ninja.

Not bikinidice.com
Great, I will invest my money into bikinidice, and wait till you run away. Smiley

Even if they don't run away, they are still stealing profits.

They have 0.013 as max win, which implies a bank roll of 1.3 BTC funded by them.

Let's say you buy 1.3 BTC of shares (13). You should get half of all profits because you have half of all risk right ?

Wrong. The site owns 1000 shares, worth 100 BTC.

If someone came on the site and lost 1 BTC, you would earn only 0.0128 BTC, with BikiniDice stealing the remaining 0.987 BTC. In a real investment, you would each get 50%.

Here you would literally get 1.3% with the rest 98.7% going to BikiniDice, even if you funded half of their bankroll.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 6 Bitcoins to invest on: October 24, 2014, 10:33:17 PM
can't you buy some altcoin instead of use them in gambling sites?

All altcoins are much much more volatile than Bitcoin.

Buying altcoins is as good as gambling, if you don't know what you are doing.
I think OP doesn't know much about altcoins and trading, hence it is pretty much veiled gambling.
549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 6 Bitcoins to invest on: October 24, 2014, 08:05:32 PM
BikiniDice.com is the way Smiley

We want to be long term/honest dice site.

Consider it.

The owner of PrimeDice, the BIGGEST, most honest, longest running dice site just told him to hold on to his coins.

You just want this money, this is just a sales pitch, won't be good for sweetiepie

Quick trader, awesome prices.

I went first, got five games for 16$, including Skyrim, Portal 2 and Payday 2.

551  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Steam: Selling Steam Items/Selling Dota 2 Treasure Keys: Keys Currently 2.05$ ea on: October 22, 2014, 03:26:28 PM
You've gone offline now, but buy the top two games on the list for me. It's just a dollar in total (Don't buy if they are over 0.49$ each). Keep them aside for me, I'll definitely buy them.

Secondly, tell me the price of the Portal 2 copy in your invy too, if it is for sale.
I may buy it depending on the price.

I'll pick both of them up for sure.
Would you happen to also have Skyrim or Payday at a good rate ?
553  Other / Off-topic / Re: What inspires you to pursue bitcoin? on: October 21, 2014, 05:41:57 PM
For me, its just a simple answer. Curiosity and because it is the trend nowadays. I hope bitcoin live long xD

Why is any investment made ? Money.

99% of the people will say that, and the remaining are lying.

If you aren't putting in any money, and gaining Bitcoin, you are investing time for Bitcoin.

Nonetheless, you are investing in Bitcoin, and like any venture, everyone is in it for the profit.
554  Other / Off-topic / Palm computer, would it be able to survive overheating ? on: October 21, 2014, 01:37:33 PM
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/atomcomputer/neutron-a-full-blown-windows-pc-in-the-palm-of-you

Looks pretty damn amazing. Would it truly be able to sustain itself without overheating though ?

It sounds great, and they claim it does not generate any heat, but would this be feasible ?

It would be awesome if someone who knows more about a "built-in heatsink" and a "quiet fan" would be able to comment.
555  Other / Off-topic / Re: Using Google Spreadsheets and Forms ? on: October 20, 2014, 02:07:47 PM
Would it be possible to add answers to different spreadsheets automatically depending on the answer to one question ?

For example, here it could be a "category" which would allow you to mark it as verb/noun for example.
556  Other / Off-topic / Using Google Spreadsheets and Forms ? on: October 20, 2014, 02:05:04 PM
I want to create a two column spreadsheet in the Google Drive "Spreadsheet" application.

I know how to create a form to link to a spreadsheet, but is it possible to make the form continually add to the end of the spreadsheet, while also allowing manual input ?

This is for a Spanish course I'm taking and I was thinking of making some sort of dictionary, to which I could allow others to add to without allowing them to fully edit it, as well as being able to edit it easily at any time.

Would anyone have any idea how I would do this ?

558  Economy / Services / Re: Homework Writer on: October 16, 2014, 04:32:43 AM
A lot of student today have too many obligations and activities in their lives for them to be able to concentrate on lengthy homework assignments on a day-to-day basis. I, on the other hand, now have far too much free time and will gladly complete any of your assignments for you.

Hmm yes, I'm sure you would be great at writing grammatically correct essays.

(That's sarcasm, because your post makes me assume you wouldn't know what that is either)
559  Economy / Services / Re: MoneyPot Signature Campaign - [Latecomer Promo!] Earn BTC For Posting! on: October 16, 2014, 04:28:34 AM
0.0006 per post  for 65 posts will give you 0.039 BTC (Full member)
Whereas posting minimum 65 posts on the fixed will give you 0.04 BTC (Full members)

Hence, for a full member, it is always better to join the PPP program, unless you are going to post precisely 65 or 66 posts.

From 0-19 posts: Both offers pay 0 for full member
From 20-64 posts: Fixed pays 0, PPP pays a decent amount (0.012 to 0.0384).
From 65-66 posts: Fixed pays 0.04 BTC, PPP pays a little less at 0.039 and 0.0396 respectively.
From 67 posts and beyond: Fixed pays 0.04 BTC, PPP pays from 0.0402 to 0.06 BTC

TL;DR: Either remove fixed , increase the value of fixed, or decrease the value of PPP for full members.
560  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If all block chain copies get deleted, what would happen? on: October 16, 2014, 04:16:25 AM
Looking at checkpoints file, I'd guess everyone'd start at the genesis block (hard-coded in the client) until we get to block 11111, the earliest block acting as a checkpoint. I'm not sure what'd happen when a client reaches that block, but since difficulty isn't hard-coded, we'd reach block 11111 pretty quickly... I'd guess it'd either cause "misbehavior score" to increase, resulting in clients banning themselves, or the client notices this and presents some kind of "your data's corrupted" message and stops trying to process blocks until the client's restarted.

Ahh, I wasn't aware that the genesis block was hard coded into the client.

Whatever the case, resetting Bitcoin would destroy all companies involved in it, and remove the likelihood of anyone trusting Bitcoin ever again.
