1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Safari Swap-Earn 500% APY by Staking on: September 16, 2022, 01:10:42 PM
500% APY is too good to be true, it's either a HYIP or it's definitely HYIP, lol. I am not a risk taker so I wouldn't touch this kind of project, but for people who are willing to take a high risk high return possibility, and ready to lose all of their investment completely, then I will say go ahead. I mean if you in and out in the perfect time you can make profit of a lifetime.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokens/coins with insanely high inflation will not be not profitable ever on: September 16, 2022, 01:06:04 PM
Aside from them having no use cases...

* Price of one token will automatically decrease when there's a flood of free tokens getting into markets and scarcity of the token decreases.

* Even if you look at it from the point where your bag wouldn't necessarily lose value as in whole, as it too is increasing with the circulating supply there's one thing you forget, and that's traders. Traders use altcoin or fiat money pairs to do technical analysis, and it obviously will look bad when the trader sets the targets. That would mean that charters would need to use marketcap graph to find a bullish TA and probably no one would even bother to do that as very few do it now.

* Rebasing as a solution is worst possible as it eats away the whole idea of having high interest from staking in the first place.

So why the hell do they keep coming back on the markets?

Not necessarily, Ethereum is the prime example of that, without any cap of it's maximum supply people still believe in it, and now it already reach more than 122M of total supply, and I believe that many people has made profit out of Ethereum, other example is ADA / Cardano the current circulating supply is 34B, and the max cap is 45B, it is now a top 10 coin in Coinmarketcap. There are many other factor beside coin supply, the maximum or circulating supply is indeed have and effect on token price but it's not that significant.
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum ATH just surpassed $1440 and dettached from BTC's price coupling on: September 16, 2022, 12:41:59 PM

Can it keep this up and will it finally be free of following the all mighty BTC price as it has since it's inception back in 2016?
https://www.coindesk.com/first-mover-ether-all-time-high-price-as-bitcoiners-hodl

I believe ETH will finally break free of Bitcoin influence in term of market price, but not so soon, and not because of this merge. Bitcoin has been leading too far in term of adoption, and if Ethereum want to totally free from Bitcoin Influence it will need the mass mainstream adoption, just like Bitcoin.
1004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So the ETH merge has finally happened on: September 16, 2022, 12:32:08 PM
The long awaited ETH merge has finally happened today and thing went smooth as for the merge from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake.
I personally thought that ETH would dump as soon as the merge would happen and I can see that it is dumping in price but slowly.
There were also rumors that a hard form might occur but we didn't see any of that happening.
So what do you guys think, what's next with Ethereum ?

Anyway, I don't think that the price dump is solely because the merge has happened, but the crypto market in general is still bearish, and ETH is not worse than other crypto so the 'sell the news' thing is not significantly affect ETH. And 'what's next for Ethereum?' the next thing will be for them to prove that Proof of Stake will not be centralized as some people feared before.

Only ANA is doing this kind of experiment heroes because heis confident that Topson will carry him. Morphis the real pos 1 on that game while Ana only serves as back up carry although undying damage is really good but its completely no match for slark.

Topson and Ana is just trolling SEA dota because they knew that they can manage to beat all the teams that participate on this qualifierswith there current line up that's why theycan do crazy pick. Let's see if they will still do this on there match against Talon.

It's proven wrong today, when they got beat up 2-0 straight against Talon, and both Topson and Ana used a serious Hero, Invoker and LD, LD is very good in this Meta and invoker is kinda Topson signature's. But Talon still win, I didn't mean to say that they play bad or they are getting worse, but Dota is a 5v5 game, two people cannot just beat every team, they need to bond with the other player first.

Borussia Dortmund's defense was quite difficult to penetrate by Manchester City in the first half, because they played quite well in the bottom row, but unfortunately after scoring a goal Borussia Dortmund played defensively, thus creating opportunities for Manchester City to hold the ball more. Disaster came after the first goal, City continued to press and attack, until Haland was able to lock the victory in the 84th minute
Basically I watched the entire game. Borussia Dortmund played really well. They always prevented Manchester City from getting the ball. Their defense has shown great potential. I expected them to win the game. But Haland's goal in the last phase of the game put Dortmund behind and ultimately defeated.

Totally agree, it's not that Dortmund doesn't give any fight, they play really well too, especially their defense, both the center back and their GK has been very discipline the entire match, only did few small mistake. Haaland was just a very sharp striker, know a good position and know how to finish an attack very well. Overall Dortmund still has very high chance to go to the knock-out stage, so this lose to City is not that big of a deal.
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: global stock markets are under bearish pressure on: September 15, 2022, 12:10:49 PM
Now is what recession look like in the global stock market, I don't think the stock market will have any impact on crypto, even if it has it will be good for crypto since the investor will move their try to move their money from stock to crypto. But the recession itself will have some bad effect on crypto if it's getting worse.
1008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you stake stablecoins now? on: September 15, 2022, 12:07:17 PM
Actually my first choice to stake was BUSD in Binance, I think staking is the only way we can use Stablecoin as investment, since the price is stable, but also because the price is stable so it's less worrying than staking other crypto. However, there are still some risk like what happened to Terra, but I think something like that is unlikely happened to Binance.
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useful websites for traders on: September 15, 2022, 12:03:44 PM
Among those three you mentioned, I only used Coinmarketcal and indeed it's very helpful, not only news it also provide rumors of some crypto projects. Though I can say that a significant amount of the upcoming event on there is sometimes not true.
I also use some very common site like Coinmarketcap, and Cryptorank, both are very useful, they provide technical data of coins.

I also get insight from some twitter account like @BSCNews, they post what project is popular among BSC Community.
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trading strategies how to turn 50$ into 100k$ in a month ? on: September 15, 2022, 01:06:22 AM
hello I have seen the best profits to be made are in projects like shiba inu before it became huge or currently on BSC and ETH chain on new projects.

There have been People who with the help of bnb chain even turned 50$ into 150k$ in a months time.

I don't think anyone know the certain specific strategy to do this, Even if there is definite strategy to make $50 into $150 then I don't think it will be shared. The most possible way is just to put $50 in dozens of project with small marketcap but good potential, and hoping that some of those dozens will make good profit, but it's all luck afterall. Some people think that crypto investment is a instant one-night path to be rich, but it is not.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 15, 2022, 12:58:48 AM
Today Champions League Results:

Rangers 0 vs 3 Napoli
After destroying Liverpool, now Napoli have also managed to destroy Rangers with a fairly large score and dominate the top of the group A standings with 6 points.

Chelsea 1 vs 1 Salzburg
The disappointing debut from Potter today and left Chelsea at the bottom of Group E with 1 point.

Manchester City 2 vs 1 Dortmund
Dortmund Has been destroy by the sharpness of its former player.

Juventus 1 vs 2 Benfica
Bad luck still to be with juventus at the moment, looks like they haven't been able to bounce back after a series of bad results in the league and champions league.

I don't think anyone would expect that Napoli could be this strong in UCL, moreover they are in the same group with Liverpool and Ajax and now Napoli is on the Top.

At this point, Chelsea will most likely can't surpass the group stage, and seems like the new manager doesn't make any big impact.

Both Juventus and Dortmund get what they deserve for letting go their top scorer, but at least Dortmund got some big money out of Haaland while Juve giving away Paulo Dybala.
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 15, 2022, 12:44:52 AM
Finally we're moving on to the upper bracket games later as i'm looking forward to Talon vs Polaris since I have the over 2.5 on their series. I watched both teams on their first series and I think Polaris had a cleaner performance while Talon was somewhat sloppy against Lilgun and it felt like Talon took a lot of time to finish their game than they should. Based on that, I think Talon will drop at least a map if they continue making the same mistake.

Also I didn't expect that Alliance would lose to Team Bald, I know they won't qualify but still, losing against a low Div 2 team is something that shouldn't happen after having a solid result in the last Tour.

Yeah, I agree that Talon is a bit weird with their play when they play against lilgun, but in term of hero draft and meta, I think Talon has better understanding than most of other team, I would still bet on Talon in this match, but I doubt they can win this Qualifier and get TI ticket.

I would favor T1 on this SEA Qualifier, with Ana and Topson I don't think any SEA team could match that duo.

And for Alliance,  I don't know what's wrong with them, they haven't make any good overall performance in any tournament, most of the time they play 1 good game, and throw 3 games after that. They have a good roster, but I think they need to find new young talent.

1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Scam Tokens in the name of late Queen Elizabeth on: September 10, 2022, 01:08:20 AM
Can't believe someone use other person grief to make a scam, that's such an inhumane thing to do. But what makes me more surprise is that some people actually believe that the Official UK Government release a crypto or NFT related to the Queens death.
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: September 10, 2022, 01:02:45 AM
This is a very possible event, there are a lot of altcoin that goes x100 even x1000, but finding this will be very difficult. And mostly it happened out of luck, people are just putting mall money like $100 or $200 in every decent low marketcap crypto and then one of those investment might go big someday.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stage on: September 10, 2022, 12:56:40 AM

Every player in Liverpool is talented. Their main problem is that the bonding of the forward players with the midfield has weakened. In addition, Nunez, one of Liverpool's main strikers, is still not playing well with the team. New players need some time to adjust to the team. Nunez is new to the Premier League. Liverpool's performance will improve if he gradually adapts to the team.

Sure, liverpool actually have a really great players, but I don't think their main problem is bonding, I think the main problem is that Klopp tactics is outdated, other coaches already know how to counter it. Klopp need to find a variation, and be more creative.
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 10, 2022, 12:37:44 AM

I agree that Potter is not a bad manager, but so wasn't Tuchel, anyone who thinks that Potter is a better manager than Potter would be kidding themselves. Could the team get better? Of course it can, but so it could have with Tuchel. However the ownership deal is real, that is a problem because in the long run if the ownership doesn't let the football people take care of the football stuff and put a good amount of money to be spent, then this team will get worse and worse. Abramovich spent so much money on Chelsea to make them better, on the other hand current guy didn't do that and this is the real cause why they do not have proper transfers and better roster and these bad results.

edit: by the way, I do not mean "not spend money" as in he didn't make any transfers, they did, they spent quite a lot in fact, spent like 200 million to make the team better, but the problem is they didn't get players that are superstars, and instead got players for way too high price, just to get them. He did transfers to show the fans he is doing something, if he spent this much money, he could have gotten so many more players that were better and would be amazing branding too. Look at the list now, 280 million spent, none of the names are globally known, worst transfer season by a team I have ever seen.

I agree that Potter and Tuchel is not so far in term of quality, but I mean Tuchel already has his time and chance to proof himself, and I think it's not wrong for Tood Boehly to give another coach a chance with Chelsea. And I don't know what you mean by Chelsea didn't get any superstars, Sterling is quite a superstars in Premiere League.
1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto's biggest flops are now pumping ? But why?! on: September 08, 2022, 01:05:46 PM
Probably the same reasons as the previous event where the price is dumped, price manipulation. And I think joining this LUNC FOMO has a very huge risk, all those people who make this pump happened will take their profit and sell all their LUNC sooner rather than later.
1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I won't be buying Eth until the merge is completed things are running fine on: September 08, 2022, 01:02:02 PM
I have the same thought, I already hold some ETH, and I wouldn't buy or sell it until the merge is done, only after that I would decide what would I do with my ETH. Currently it is still in the phase of 'sell the news' selling it now would only make me lose my money, and buying it wouldn't be a smart decision either because I haven't seen what is the effect of the merge, and how other investor react to it.
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How should i diversify my crypto portfolio? on: September 08, 2022, 12:48:03 PM
How should i diversify my crypto portfolio?

I feel like im gambling by going all in one crypto like ETH and the drops are hitting me very hard with its high volatility compared to BTC

It's not gambling, you just made a common bad decision made by a new investors. My advice would be to think again how much could you afford to lose? If you think you already lose too much, holding is not a good option, you will only sell your ETH when the price go deeper because afraid that you would lose more, you wont make it till the price go up again, than it might be a good idea to sell some of your ETH and start diversifying your portfolio, buy 3 - 4 other coins. If you think you could afford to lose more, than you holding it will be better, because sooner or later the price will go up again, you just need to stop checking on your portfolio everyday.
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cryptocurrencies Change the View of the Game Industry in the Future on: September 08, 2022, 12:38:04 PM
If you ever played a World of Warcraft or other MMORPG game that has a rare item and something like that, actually the concept of some people earning from the game they played is not new, and is not invented by crypto. The right question would be could crypto make the play to earn into mainstream, and I doubt it, it will still be a niche, and people would play game just for entertainment, the earning is just a bonus.
